  • The effect of motion taping on the grasping power of the wrist is investigated and here Based on the data obtained from the This study was conducted to provide a theoretical background for the study. Motion taping was performed on the wrist for middle-aged people between 50s and 60s, and the change in wrist gripping power through an electronic dynamometer was tested. According to the wrist grip test results, it was investigated that the application of motion taping has a great effect on the gripping power of the wrist. It is hoped that motion taping will be a tool to reduce musculoskeletal industrial accidents, and it will be helpful to improve the quality of life of workers by reducing the labor intensity or softening the wrist through motion taping.

  • Today, with the development of the Internet and mobile technology, consumers' purchasing patterns have shifted from offline to online. In addition, due to the recent COVID-19, online purchases have significantly increased, and accordingly, the courier industry for logistics delivery has also grown significantly. Various logistics robots are being operated in many industrial and can reduce the labor intensity and physical and mental fatigue of workers. However, if the logistics robot does not properly recognize the people or environment around it, it can lead to a serious accident. We conducted that how logistics robots can perform safe work in a working environment such as a logistics warehouse through the application of ISO/DIS 21448 (SOTIF) to autonomous logistics transport robots. This result is expected to contribute to the operation of unmanned logistics warehouses using AGV.

  • Currently, the construction industry is decreasing every year due to people's poor perception, high labor intensity, unstable employment structure, and welfare problems, as people avoid entry. Accordingly, this study investigated how to attract trainees and graduates from domestic construction education institutions to the construction industry. If institutional devices are prepared to prepare for the future by improving the welfare system such as unemployment benefits and retirement deductions in the construction industry, many trainees in their 20s and 30s will be attracted to the construction industry. If it helps expand hands-on education through on-site linkage and has the necessary technical skills for practice, it is believed that trainees and graduates in their 4s and 60s will be attracted to the construction industry.

Data resource profile: the Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS)

  • The Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS) is a state-approved statistical survey that has been conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute (OSHRI) every 3 years since 2006 to monitor changes in the working conditions of Koreans. This cross-sectional national survey involves a sample of 50,000 employed people aged 15 or older. KWCS measures various working conditions through > 130 survey questions, including questions regarding working hours, labor intensity, work-life balance, degree of exposure to risk factors, and subjective health status. Professional survey interviewers visit households and conduct face to face interviews. KWCS provides data and statistics for occupational safety and health polices and research in Korea. Furthermore, OSHRI holds academic conferences every year, awards high-quality academic papers, and supports researchers using data. Microdata is publicly available through the OSHRI website (https://oshri.kosha.or.kr).

경량식혈기를 이용한 용기묘 식재의 작업공정 및 초기생장 분석 (An Analysis on the Operation Productivity and Initial Growth of Containerized Seedlings Planted by the Lightweight Planting Auger)

  • Due to aging of the rural and mountain populations the labor force is reduced. However work intensity continues to increase, thus, there is a need to improve the current effectiveness of forest operations. This study compared and analyzed the Operation productivity and efficiency of planting containerized seedlings using a battery-powered planting auger and a mattock. Growth was also investigated by looking into the initial growth increments in the planted seedlings. Tasks were investigated by analyzing the process and operation time needed to plant 1 containerized seedling using a planting auger and a mattock. The time spent on the various elements of the planting process was measured with a stopwatch but observations were done continuously. Result of the study shows that with the use of a lightweight planting auger the average time spent to plant a containerized seedling is 18.61 seconds while with the use of a mattock it took an average of 26.96 seconds which clearly demonstrates that the planting auger is more efficient in terms of working hours. Working intensity was also analyzed with the use of a portable heart rate monitor (Polar V800). The average increase in heart rate and work intensity index were analyzed for one planting cycle. It was observed that when using the lightweight planting auger, there was a 46.51% increase in the average heart rate while a 74.67% increase in heart rate when the mattock was used which shows that there is a significant increase in heart rate when mattock is used. In addition, work intensity index was observed to be 29.95% and 47.83% when the planting auger and mattock were used respectively. With the continuous use, work intensity index is significantly higher with the use of the mattock as compared to that of the lightweight planting auger. There were no significant differences on the growth increment of seedlings planted using the different tools until a year after planting, however differences in growth increment were observed after a year. A difference of 15.1 cm in height and 3.41 mm in diameter was observed which shows that the use of lightweight planting auger is excellent for planting containerized seedlings.

건설 기능인력의 임금 산정제도 개선방안 (Improvement Measures of Wage Estimation System for Construction Skilled Workers)

  • 건설업은 현재 생계에 직접적인 영향을 주는 임금 관련 문제들로 인해 신규인력의 진입 기피와 기존인력의 이직 등 기능인력 유지에 문제가 발생하여 산업생산기반이 약화되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 신규인력의 유입 증가와 기존 기능인력의 유지를 위해, 현행 임금산정제도를 개선하는 것을 목적으로 연구를 수행하였다. 노동강도가 높은 건설업 최저임금 수준을 산업별, 직종별로 차별화하는 것이 필요하다. 그리고, 휴일근로 및 시간외 수당 등과 같은 명확하게 산정할 수 있는 임금산정기준의 정립이 필요하고, 현재의 퇴직공제부금의 금액 수준을 상향조정하는 것이 필요하다.

서번트리더십과 인사관리 유형이 직무소진에 미치는 영향에 관한 다층분석 (A Multi-level Study on the Effect of Servant Leadership and HRM Control Types on Job Burnout)

  • 작업자의 직무소진은 팀 또는 조직의 공유구조와 집단심리 상태의 형성과 상호영향을 미치며, 따라서 직무소진을 이해하기 위해서는 시장환경에 따른 작업환경뿐만 아니라 팀 또는 조직의 사회적 상황에 대한 고려가 필수적이다. 본 연구는 직무요구-자원이론에 기반하여 구성원들의 직무소진에 미치는 직무요구와 직무자원의 효과를 다층분석하였다. 즉, 팀수준의 변수인 서번트리더십과 인사관리 통제방식이 개인수준의 작업부하와 감정노동과 직무소진의 관계에 조절효과를 검정하였다. 실증분석 결과, 첫째 작업자의 개인특성 중 자기효능감이 높을수록 직무소진은 줄어드는데 반하여, 작업부하와 감정노동이 높아질수록 직무소진은 증가하였다. 둘째, 팀수준의 투입 및 결과중심 인사관리가 활발히 이루어지는 팀일수록 작업자의 작업부하와 직무소진의 정(+)의 회귀관계 강도가 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 서번트리더십이 발휘되는 팀일수록 자기효능감과 직무소진의 부(-)의 회귀관계 강도가 증폭되는 것으로 나타났다.

The Association of Workplace Psychosocial Factors and Musculoskeletal Pain Among Korean Emotional Laborers

  • Background: Many studies have reported negative psychological or physical effects of emotional labor. Relationship between work-related musculoskeletal disorder and psychosocial factors has been reported. To manage organizational and psychosocial factors of musculoskeletal disorder with work place intervention among emotional laborers, the factors contributing to musculoskeletal pain must be identified and clarified. Methods: Data from the fourth Korean Working Conditions Survey was analyzed. Based on the questionnaire, we selected emotional laborers and included 3,979 participants, excluding participants whose variables were of interest to the researcher. Weight variable was applied. The association with musculoskeletal pain and psychosocial factors, such as workload, monotonous work, job control, social support, and job satisfaction, was investigated. Results: Univariate analysis demonstrated that there was a statistically significant relationship between social support, job satisfaction, and musculoskeletal pain. In multivariate analysis, job satisfaction showed a strong correlation with musculoskeletal pain at all sites. Social support was significantly associated with backache. Monotonous work seemed to reduce the pain in the neck and/or upper limbs. Job control and work intensity were not significantly associated with musculoskeletal pain. Conclusion: In this study, job satisfaction was significantly associated with musculoskeletal pain, and social support among the social psychological stressors could reduce musculoskeletal pain. However, unlike previously known, the presence of monotonous work resulted in reduced musculoskeletal pain. The results of this study will help to establish the direction of improvement of atmosphere in the workplace to prevent the musculoskeletal pain of emotional laborers.

산업유형별 상용직 고용 결정요인 - 외주(Outsourcing)를 중심으로 (Determinants of Employment of Regular Workers by Industrial Type: Focused on Outsourcing)

  • 본 연구는 통계청의 기업활동조사(2006년~2015년)를 병합하여 산업유형별 상용직 고용 결정요인을 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015년 기준 외주를 활용한 기업의 비중은 73.2%였으며, 제조업(83.7%)이 비제조업(63.7%)에 비해 20%p 높았다. 그리고 지난 10년간의 외주비 증가율은 제조업 88.7%, 비제조업 44.2%로 나타나 제조업이 두 배 이상 높았다. 둘째, 상용직 고용 결정요인을 추정한 결과, 노동소득분배율, 영업이익률, 매출액, 연구개발 집중도, 외국자본비율 변수는 상용직 고용을 유의하게 증가시키는 반면, 외주비, 자본집약도, 임시 일용직비율 변수는 고용을 유의하게 감소시키는 것으로 추정되었다. 인건비 변수는 임금인상이 이뤄진 당해 연도는 상용직 고용을 감소시키지만, 그 다음해에는 상용직 고용을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 산업유형을 세분화하여 외주가 고용에 미치는 영향을 추정한 결과, 모든 유형에서 상용직 고용을 감소시켰으며, 감소 폭은 제조업에서는 기초소재형, 비제조업에서는 유통서비스형이 가장 컸다.

한국의 총요소생산성 추정과 생산성 결정요인에 관한 실증연구 (Empirical Analysis on the Estimation of Total Factor Productivity and its Determinants in the Korean Manufacturing and Service Industries)

  • 본 논문은 분석기간 1975:1-2016:4에 걸쳐 한국의 제조업과 서비스업을 대상으로 확률변경 함수로서 초월대수(Translog) 생산함수를 이용하여 총요소생산성을 추정하였다. 또한 추정된 총요소생산성에 영향을 미치는 결정요소로서 산업의 구조와 특성을 반영하는 마크업, 자본탄력도 그리고 수입중간재비중을 포함하는 자기회귀시차모형을 설정하여 총요소생산성의 결정 요소탄력도를 추정하였다. 총요소생산성 증가율은 분석기간 평균값이 제조업은 0.0199 그리고 서비스업은 0.0063으로 추정되었다. 총요소생산성의 마크업탄력도는 제조업은 2.481로 양(+)의 값을 나타낸 반면 서비스업은 -1.403으로 음(-)의 수치를 보이고 있다. 자본집약도 탄력도는 제조업은 0.651 그리고 서비스업은 0.042로 추정되었다. 이러한 실증결과는 산업구조와 특성을 반영하는 마크업과 자본집약도가 제조업과 서비스업의 총요소생산성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 결정변수임을 밝히고 있다.
