  • MIDAS-II(Multiuser Index-based Data Access System II)는 한국전자통신연구원에서 개발한 바다 DBMS의 저장 시스템이다. MIDAS-II에서 데이터의 논리적 저장 단위인 파일을 저장하는 디스크 영역을 볼륨(volume)이라 부른다. 본 논문에선,s MIDAS-II가 대용량 멀티미디어 데이터 서버의 저장 시스템으로 가능하도록 광 디스크 쥬크박스 또는 테이프 라이브러리와 같이 복수 개의 자장매체(platter, 예를 들어 디스크 또는 카트리지 테이프)로 구성된 Tera 바이트 급의 3차 저장장치를 장착할 경우 이를 위한 볼륨 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 볼륨 구조에서는 3차 저장장치를 활용할 경우 발생되는 성능 저하를 극복하기 위하여 디스크 캐쉬 영역을 두고 있으며, 이를 활용하여 3차 저장장치에 저장된 데이터를 읽지 전용 모드로 검색하는 것 뿐 아니라 LOB을 비롯한 새로운 데이터를 생성하여 3차 저장장치에 저장하는 과정을 모두 효율적으로 지원한다. 그리고, 응용 프로그램에게 볼륨이 저장된 저장장치에 대한 투명성을 제공하기 위하여 기존 MIDAS-II API를 그대로 유지하였으므로 기존의 디스크 볼륨과 제안된 3차 저장장치 볼륨이 모두 기존 API를 통해 접근이 가능하다. 또한, 3차 저장장치의 각 저장매체로서 WORM의 사용도 가능하며, 각 저장매체는 데이터와 해당 메타 데이터를 함께 저장하여 저장매체로서의 독립성을 지니게 됨으로써 개별적으로 저장장치에/로부터 삽입/제거할 수 있게 하였다

A Study of Job Satisfaction of the Nurses in a University Hospital (일대학 부속병원 간호사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to describe and analyze about the degree of job satisfaction of nurses in a university hospital for basic data to develop the professionals and improve productivities, effectiveness in nursing practice. Methods: Design was the descriptive survey study. Sample were 97 nurses in K university hospital, and convenient sampling was used. Measures were job satisfaction of nurse for job satisfaction tool modified by Kim, S.N.(1998) and developed by Slavitt(1978). Data were collected from April 2005 to June 2005, and analyzed using SPSS PC+12 program. Descriptive statistics was used for general characteristics and characteristics related to job. F-test, t-test, and $X^2$ test were used for verification of differences. Results: 1. Scores in categories of job satisfaction were ranked for professional position(3.25), interpersonal relationship(3.19), autonomy(3.08), necessary job(2.88), payment and promotion(2.79), and administration(2.50) in order. 2. There were significant differences in age(F=3.343, p=.040) and satisfaction for current job(F=10.331, p=.000) in differences of job satisfaction by general characteristics and characteristics related to job. Conclusions: On the findings, authors suggest that more opportunities for direct nursing practice, appropriate time for the practice, and the intervention improving satisfaction for current job are needed to improve job satisfaction.

  • Companies are pursuing the management of small quantity batch production or JIT(Just-in-time) system for improving the delivery response and LOB(Line Balancing) in order to satisfy consumers' increasing demands in the current global economic recession. And in order to improve the growth of production for reducing manufacturing cost, improvements of the Load Balancing have become an important reformation factor. Thus this paper is aimed at warehouse which procures materials on the assembly line in procurement logistics of automotive logistics and proceed with research on heuristic algorithm development which can increase the Load Balancing of workers. As a result of this study, when applied the primary target value, it was verified that the whole workers decreased from 28 to 24. Furthermore, when specified the secondary target value and applied algorithm once more, it was verified that the Load Balance Ratio was improved from 44.96% to 91.7%.

The Effects of Maternity Apparel Style and Job Type on the likability and the occupational Competence of Pregnant Working Women (직장상황 임산부의 의복스타일과 직업유형이 호의도와 업무수행능력 평가에 미치는 영향)

  • The Purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of maternity apparel style and job type on the likability and the occupational competence of pregnant working women. This study was 3'S factorial design. Independent variables of this study were maternity apparel style(feminine style, neutral style, and masculine style) and job type(assitant manager of bank and salesperson). Dependent variables were the likability and the occupational competence of the stimuli. One hundred eighty college females participated in the study, in which half of the subject viewed the stimuli as a salesperson and the other half as an assistant manager of bank. The results showed that maternity apparel style influenced the perception of likability(F(2,174)=6.97, p<.001) and occupational competence(F(2,174): 16.25, p<.001) significantly. Also lob type influenced the occupational competence(F(1,174) : 3.94, p<.05) signifcantly. There was a significant interaction(F(2,174) : 2.53 p(.10) between maternity apparel style and job type. In future researches, diverse job distinction other than the classification of being professional or non-being professional can be arranged to study the influence of job type. Also it is recommended to explore the interaction between the appearance cues except clothing and job type.

A Method of Applying Work Relationships for a Linear Scheduling Model (선형 공정계획 모델의 작업 관계성 적용 방법)

  • As the linear scheduling method has been used since the Empire State Building linear schedule in 1929, it is being applied in various fields, such as construction and manufacturing. When addressing concurrent critical paths occurring in a linear construction schedule, empirical researches have stressed resource management, which should be applied for optimizing workflow, ensuring flexible work productivity and continuous resource allocation. However, work relationships have been usually overlooked in making the linear schedule from an existing network schedule. Therefore, this research analyzes the previous researches related to the linear scheduling model, and then proposes a method that can be applied for adopting the relationships of a network schedule to the linear schedule. To this end, this research considers the work relationships occurring in changing a network schedule into a linear schedule, and then confirms the activities movement phenomenon of linear schedule due to workspace change, such as physical floors change. As a result, this research can be used as a basic research in order to develop a system generating a linear schedule from a network schedule.

Improvement of the Detection of LOB through Reconstruction of an Internal Model (내부 모델의 재구성에 의한 균형상실 검출성능 개선)

  • Many researchers have tried to detect the falling and to reduce the injury associated with falling. Normally the method of detection of a loss of balance is more efficient than that of a compensatory motion in order to predict the falling. The detection algorithm of the loss of balance was composed of three main parts: parts of processing of measured data, construction of an internal model and detection of the loss of balance. The internal model represented a simple dynamic motion balancing with two rear legs of a four-legged chair and was a simplified model of a central nervous system of a person. The internal model was defined by the experimental data obtained within a fixed time interval, and was applied to the detecting algorithm to the end of the experiment without being changed. The balancing motion controlled by the human brain was improved in process of time because of the experience accruing to the brain from controlling sensory organs. In this study a reconstruction method of the internal model was used in order to improve the success rate and the detecting time of the algorithm and was changed with time the same as the brain did. When using the reconstruction method, the success rate and the detecting time were 95 % and 0.729 sec, respectively and those results were improved by about 7.6 % and 0.25 sec in comparison to the results of the paper of Ahmed and Ashton-Miller. The results showed that the proposed reconstruction method of the internal model was efficient to improve the detecting performance of the algorithm.

Descriptive Correlational Study on Personality Type using MBTI and lob Satisfaction (MBTI를 활용한 일 병원 간호사의 성격특성과 직무만족도와의 관계연구)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the correlations between personality type and job satisfaction of nurses. Methods: Subjects included three hundred twelve nurses ages from 21 to 55. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI) was administered to determine the personality types of the nurses(n=312). A job satisfaction survey including a demographic and career questionnaire was also used. Data were analyzed using ANOVA. Results: The mean score fur job satisfaction was 113.68 out of 205. The result showed that there was no statistically significant correlation between job satisfaction and information gathering functions, S: Sensing, N: Intuition (t=.667, p=.499), T; Thinking, F; Feeling (t=.822, p=.412). The results, however, indicated that style for gaining energy(I: Introversion, E: Extroversion)(t=2.008, p=.046) and life dealing style(J : Judgement, P : Perception)(t=2.290, p=.023) were significantly correlated with job satisfaction. The extrovert focuses on the outside and get energy through interacting with people and doing things. Judgement type is described as organized, decisive, and orderly. Conclusion: Nurses in the extrovert and judgement types were more satisfied with their Jobs than those in the introvert and perceptive type. Other results support that educational level, marital status, job characteristics, clinical experiences, motivation for nursing, and night duty were correlated with job satisfaction.

Eine rhetorische Analyse der gorgianischen Rede Enkomium der Helene (고르기아스의 연설문 (헬레네 예찬)의 수사적 분석)

  • In dieser Arbeit wird untersucht, ob die rhetorischen Regeln zur Textproduktion auch auf die Textanalyse einer Rede anwendbar sind, und zwar einer vor der Systematisierung der Rhetorik verfassten Rede, $n\"{a}mlich$ dem Enkomium der Helene von Gorgias. Die Untersuchung ihrer $Anwendungsm\"{o}glichkeit$ als Ana1ysekategorien liegt der Vermutung nahe, dass das Enkomiurn auch rhetorische Elemente $enth\"{a}lt$, weil eine Theorie wie die Rhetorik erst durch die Beobachtung der musterhaften Reden, die Entdeckung ihrer $Regelm\"{a}{\ss}igkeiten$ und deren Synthetisierung entstanden ist Deswegen ist die Untersuchung norma1erweise mit der Festste1lung der im Text angewandten rhetorischen Regeln identisch. Dieses Verfahren aber $\"{u}berzeugt$ uns, dass dem Gorgias das Gliederungsschema der DISPOSITIO, die Sonderform der Einleitung INSINUATIO, die Prinzipien der Kurze und $Glaubw\"{u}rdigkeit$ in der $Erz\"{a}hlung$ sowie der Zusammenfassung im Schluss, das dem Enthymem $\"{a}hnliche$ logische Mittel LOGISMOS, die Stasis der $Qualit\"{a}t$, die Topoi der Stammung und Gerechtigkeit, die sog. gorgianischen Figuren usw. nicht fremd sind. Wegen des Streites um die $Zusammengeh\"{o}rigkeit$ dieser Rede zur epideiktischen wird hier auch untersucht, ob das Enkomium die von den Theoretikern wie Aristoteles und Cicero aufgestellten Bedingungen der epideiktischen Rede $erf\"{u}llt$. Nur 'die Apologie' nach der $Formalit\"{a}t$ im Beweis ausgeschlossen, die aber zur Beseitigung des am Gegenstand des Lobes $angeh\"{a}ngten$ Tadelhaften erforderlich ist, entspricht das Enkomium dem Prinzip der epideiktischen Rede: Lob der Tugend wie $Sch\"{o}nheit$ und Adeligkeit, Amplifikation bei der Formulierung, Wirkziel des aesthetischen Genusses. Wenn man die Entstehungszeit dieses Enkomiums $ber\"{u}cksichtigt$, kann man plausibel folgern, dass es eine $fr\"{u}he$ Form der Lobrede ist.

Effects of Job Characteristics, Job Performance and Organizational Commitment on Job Satisfaction of Hospital Dietitians in the Taegu. Kyungpook Area (대구.경북지역 병원영양사의 직무특성, 업무수행도 및 조직몰입도가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of job characteristics, job performance and organizational commitment on job satisfaction of hospital dietitians. The first survey was carried out on 74 hospital dietitians to determine their demographic characteristics, job characteristics, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The second survey was carried out on 47 hospital foodservice dietitians to determine their job performance. Thirty-two percent of the subjects were aged between 26 and 30, and 62.2% had Bachelor's degrees. The dietitians felt most satisfied by their co-workers, followed by the work-itself, supervision, pay, and promotion possibilities. Dietitians who had a higher education were satisfied with pay and supervision. The longer the length of employment, the more the satisfaction with the work-itself and pay, plus the higher the monthly wage the more the satisfaction with the work-itself, pay, supervision, and co-workers. lob satisfaction was high in the group that scored high on autonomy, feedback, task identity, and friendship of in the job characteristic inventory. The job performances of nutrition counseling(r= 0.469, p < 0.01), nutrition education(r= 0.446, p < 0.01) and management of therapeutic diet(r= 0.394, p < 0.01) were positively correlated with job satisfaction. The $R^2$for the multiple regression model was 0.677, indicating that 67.7% of the variance in job satisfaction could be accounted for by feedback, organizational commitment, nutrition counseling performance, and nutrition education performance. In conclusion, the level of job satisfaction for hospital dietitians would appear to improve with increased feedback, organizational commitment, and opportunity for nutrition counseling and nutrition education.

Network separation construction method using network virtualization (네트워크 가상화를 이용한 망 분리 구축 방법)

  • The importance of network separation is due to the use of the Internet with existing business PCs, resulting in an internal information leakage event, and an environment configured to allow servers to access the Internet, which causes service failures with malicious code. In order to overcome this problem, it is necessary to use network virtualization to separate networks and network interconnection systems. Therefore, in this study, the construction area was constructed into the network area for the Internet and the server farm area for the virtualization system, and then classified and constructed into the security system area and the data link system area between networks. In order to prove the excellence of the proposed method, a network separation construction study using network virtualization was conducted based on the basis of VM Density's conservative estimates of program loads and LOBs.
