One of main problems in developing electricity grid for archipelago country like Indonesia is the geographical concerns as it consists of many islands. In some rural areas, electricity has not been available yet due to the limited infrastructure access, leading to high investment cost. In this study, a portable energy storage system based on the lithium-ion batteries called Tabung Listrik or TaLis (DC-based power bank) and DC house system were proposed as the solution for providing electricity for rural areas with relatively lower cost. TaLis is designed to be portable so it is easy to carry around as well as it can be used for many purposes. Since 2017, TaLis prototype has been used as the energy storage in a DC house system at Sekolah Master Indonesia, where an array of PV rooftop is functioned as the main DC power supply. Besides, some TaLis were also dispatched for emergency response during the disaster situations in Indonesia, such as during the measles outbreak in Asmat-Papua, the earthquake disaster in Lombok and tsunami in Palu.

The purpose of the study is to identify the perception of the Library and Information Science (LIS) specialists about the use of mobile phones in retrieving information. It investigates the present status of the LIS specialists regarding mobile phone usage, perceptions regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries and points out the possible drawbacks and their solutions for embracing mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries and providing some suggestions. The methodology includes a quantitative approach. The authors used a survey method using a structured questionnaire to measure the perception of LIS specialists regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries. The findings confirmed that the majority (72%) of LIS specialists have the experience of using mobile phones for more than 10 years. Findings also indicate that the LIS specialists have agreed with the statements of advantages of using mobile phones. This paper concludes that the respondents also agreed regarding the possible advantages of introducing mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries. The paper explores the original perceptions of LIS specialists regarding the use of mobile phones in retrieving information from libraries.

웹의 발달과 전자정부의 지향으로, 행정기관의 웹사이트를 통한 민원처리가 증가하고 있다. 게시판을 통해 이용자가 민원을 제기하면, 각 기관에서는 담당자를 배정해 처리하지만 해당 게시물을 공기록으로 보존하지는 않는다. 공공사이트를 통한 투명한 행정을 위해서는 게시물도 공기록물로 보존하는 체계가 마련될 필요가 있다. 이를 위해, 정부기능연계모델(BRM)을 기준으로, 공공사이트의 게시글을 자동으로 분류하는 시스템을 구현하였다.

Local languages based information storage and retrieval system is essential for any online digital repository system. This paper reports the development of an interface in Bengali that allows users not only browsing and searching Indic-script based documents but also allows administrator performing various system level operations. This paper briefly describes the origin and key characteristics of Indic-scripts along with their encoding in Unicode standard with special reference to Bengali language. It also demonstrates the development processes of Bengal-script based information representation and retrieval (IRR) system viz. BURA (Burdwan University Research Archive) using different open standard and open source software (OSS) including different factors essential for building such successful Indic-script based multilingual digital libraries. The suggested strategies may help digital library developers to design an appropriate multi-script based information access services in any other Indic-script based languages.

The paper discusses the nature of Knowledge Organization Systems (KOSs) and shows how these can support digital library users. It demonstrates processes related to integration of KOS like the Dewey Decimal Classification, $22^{nd}$ edition (DDC22) in DSpace software (http://www.dspace.org/) for organizing and retrieving (browsing and searching) scholarly objects. An attempt has been made to use the DDC22 available in Bengali language and highlights the required mechanisms for system-level integration. It may help a repository administrator to build an IDR (Institutional Digital Repository) integrated with SKOS-enabled multilingual subject access systems for supporting subject descriptors based indexing (DC.Subject metadata element), structured navigation (browsing) and efficient searching.

Listeria monocytogenes and L. ivanovii are important food-pathogens for human and animal. The diagnostic of Listeria in food using culture medium requires time and laborwork, because there are many other non-pathogenic species like L. innocua, L welshimeri, L. seeligeri and L. grayi in Genus Listeria. For these reasons, Lismix multiplex PCR method was developed as a rapid method for the detection and identification of Listeria. In this study we developed a practical system of Lis-mix PCR detection for the application to food samples and new developed Siw-mix III PCR system overall 69 listerial strains were successful species-identified and confirmed. Also, the Siw-mix III PCR system allows the species-specific identification among L. ivanovii, L. welshimeri and L seeligeri in a single PCR.

Logistics has become a key element in a shipping firm's overall strategy, now that the concept of logistics has expanded into one that is more comprehensive and integrated. furthermore, the global shipping market is the most competitive market in the world. In this environment, shipping firms are using Logistics Information Systems (LIS), which help them to save time and reduce costs. As such, LIS has become a critical part of Korea's attempts to develop Its national logistics system and industry. In this light, this study attempted to empirically determine the critical elements necessary for effective shipping LIS implementation and to then analyze how these elements are related to actual logistics performance within the shipping industry. The research results show that the sample firms considered the following factors to be most Important to an effective LIS: the support of top management; an efficient and well-structured communication channel; a solid strategic implementation plan; and a high level of information analysis internally. Other factors mentioned as being somewhat significant included MIS organization and human resources, MIS discipline and training, software development capabilities, MIS organizational alignment, database management systems information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support The main problems with current shipping LIS include the expensive cost of systems, lack of standardized working processes, and weak organizational structures.

This study aims to suggest key strategy for successful establishment of LIS (Land Information System). Survey questionnaires on casual and outcome factors for LIS establishment are distributed to the LIS users and developers. Analysis results show that user participation has statistically significant, positive effect on business efficiency, user satisfaction, data sharing and services. Government support and developer technical skill are appeared to be the two important factors for improving the business efficiency and user satisfaction of LIS. Based on such results, this study suggests different strategies for successful development and implementation of LIS, including the definition of users' role and their proactive participation, visionary guide and support by government, cooperative relationship based government support and user participation, sufficient technology for land informatization. This study contributes to systematic organization of situational factors of South Korea's LIS towards its achievements. The results of this study could also be utilized for strengthening global competitiveness of the domestic geospatial information firms, in particular in supporting the development of land information projects in developing countries.

In the digital mapping for data base contruction, the positional information is used as an important tool in LIS/GIS(Land Information System/Geographic Information System) that is used for a facility management, urban/cadastral management as well as in spatial analysis. In this paper, for an error analysis of X, Y coordinates data on digital map, test area was classified by topography, density, and slope. The coordinates on topographic map were assumed as true values and they were compared with the coordinates on digital map. A result of the numerical test show that a vector data of line type had more gross error than vector data of polygon type. And, SME(stanadrd mean error) of urban or intermountain area had small values compared to that of suburban area in topography analysis. The SME of dense and middle zone had small values compared to that of loose zone in density analysis. In another slope analysis. the SME of steep of gentle slope had small values compared to that of flatland.

The purpose of this article lies in investigating the problems and limitations of the current LIS education in Korea with an emphasis on the viewpoints of librarians. Also identified are the librarians suggestions for a better LIS educational system, in particular, for the renovation of the current LIS curriculum to upgrade the competencies of future librarians. To this end, 347 librarians from public, academic, special, and school libraries were e-mail surveyed. And the collected data were analyzed and interpreted to find out the specific problems and suggestions based on the types of libraries as well as the overall problems and suggestions.
