  • 공개소프트웨어는 우리나라와 같이 몇 개의 다국적 기업의 소프트웨어에 종속된 국가에서 원천기술을 확보할 수 좋은 근원이다. 2007년에 개정된 중학교와 고등학교 정보 교과에서는 7차 교육과정 개편에 없는 내용이 추가되어 공개소프트웨어를 활용할 필요성이 그전에 비해 많이 높아졌다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2009년부터 중학교 1학년부터 단계적으로 적용될 새로운 정보교과의 교육과정을 소개하고, 공개소프트웨어를 활용하는 방안을 제시한다.

  • This paper proposes a new scheme of FLR for improving corner breakdown voltage. The major difference from the conventional FLR is to build extra rings and floating field plates in the corner region. In this structure the additional field plate and ring have reduced th electric field at the junction in the corner region. Thus it improves the breakdown characteristics which are critical for obtaining high breakdown voltage.

  • IGBT modules are designed for low loss, rugged for all environments and user friendly. Low on state saturation voltage with high switching speed is the primary concerns. In this paper selection of IGBT, module ratings and characteristics are discussed. The IGBT design topic of protection against over voltage and over current are covered. Emphasis on turn off switching, short circuit switching and necessary precautions are dealt. Selection of IGBT device, gate drive power, and its lay out considerations are covered in detail.

  • In this letter, we study the impact of single event upsets (SEUs) in space or defense electronic systems which use memory devices such as EEPROM, and SRAM. We built a microcontroller test board to measure the effects of protons on electronic devices at various radiation levels. We tested radiation hardening at beam current, and energy levels, measured the phenomenon of SEUs, and addressed possible reasons for SEUs.

  • In this study, several properties are improved when high efficient inorganic type agent and organic-inorganic type agent are applied. Especially high efficient inorganic type agent can improve the properties of concrete such as water-resisting capability more effect than organic-inorganic type agent applied.

  • The study focuses on the mixture of materials for the development of porous concrete with unsaturated polyester resin. The materials used in the mixture include the coarse aggregates unsaturated polyester resin as binder, calcium carbonate and sand as a filler. An experimental procedure has been carried out to select the best combination of the materials that satisfy both the required permeability and compressive strength.

  • 지식정보화 사회에서는 학생들의 논리적 사고력과 탐구력, 문제해결력, 창의성을 갖춘 인재가 필수적이며 이러한 인재를 키우는 것이 한 나라와 사회의 미래를 결정 짖는 핵심적이 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 창의력과 문제해결력의 요소들을 분석하고 초중등학교에서의 로봇을 이용하여 학생들의 창의력 향상을 위한 동향을 분석한다. 그리고 대학에서 로봇 이용 교육에 대한 현황을 분석하고 로봇이용 방법론을 제안한다.

COMPARISON OF TWO DESINGULARIZATIONS OF THE MODULI SPACE OF ELLIPTIC STABLE MAPS

  • We study the geometry of the moduli space of elliptic stable maps to projective space. The main component of the moduli space of elliptic stable maps is singular. There are two different ways to desingularize this space. One is Vakil-Zinger's desingularization and the other is via the moduli space of logarithmic stable maps. Our main result is a proof of the direct geometric relationship between these two spaces. For degree less than or equal to 3, we prove that the moduli space of logarithmic stable maps can be obtained by blowing up Vakil-Zinger's desingularization.
