  • 오늘 날 대부분의 대학생들은 물론 직장인들도 노트북을 많이 사용한다. 특히 카페에서 노트북을 사용해 과제를 하는 등 열린 공간에서 노트북을 사용하는 일도 많아지고 있다. 그만큼 노트북도 많은 위협에 노출되고 있다. 사용자가 잠시 자리를 비운 틈에 누군가가 노트북 화면을 몰래 볼 수도 있고, 불건전한 의도로 조작할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 위협에 대응하기 위한 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

A Study on the Condensation Performance of Curtain-wall Window in High-Rise Residential Building (초고층 주거건물 커튼월의 창호부 결로 성능평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this thesis is thermal performance simulation about various type that can apply in the high-rise residential building to estimate condensation performance of window that is consisted of frame and glazing in curtain wall. The result of this thesis are summarized as follows. First, condensation occurrence point when relative humidity is $30{\cdot}40{\cdot}50\%$ is shortest Low-e double glass. Difference by type of gas and spacer was a little by $2{\~}6$ cm, among it, the case that apply krypton in gas and the case that apply double seal in spacer were less condensation occurrence distribution. Second, when analyzed improved proposal of window and existing plan through simulation, improved proposal is superior from general side of the interior and exterior temperature, thermal break surrounding temperature and temperature of frame end, condensation occurrence point etc. Therefore, if it was used improved proposal with effect that improve in curtain wall of high-rise residential building, it may improve window condensation performance of curtain wall.

  • 연구자 및 연구관리기관의 효율적인 연구업무를 지원하기 위해 국내의 많은 연구기관들이 시스템을 도입하여 운용하고 있다. 좀더 효율적인 연구 활동을 지원하고 연구과제의 관리 및 데이터의 공유, 검색, 저장을 위해 XML 기반의 연구과제 제안서 접수 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 연구과제제안서 접수시스템은 한글과 같은 워드프로세서로 작성된 문서를 접수 받아서 XML로 변환 후 데이터 베이스에 저장하는 시스템으로 연구과제 관리 업무의 효율성 및 문서관리, 검색, 저장을 용이하게 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 시스템은 정부출연연구원 및 21세기 프론티어 사업단에 보급되어 현재 운용되고 있다.

  • Superconducting tape is being developed for electrical equipment such as superconducting transformers and generators. AC loss reduction is primary concern in the development of such high-efficiency equipment. AC losses in Bi-2223 silver-sheathed tapes, both single and multi-filamentary, were investigated by means of AC magnetization techniques. The results were compared with the hysteresis loss equation based on Bean model and the eddy current loss equation. The AC loss, of the mono-filamentary tape was the hysteresis. On the contrary, the AC loss of the multi-filamentary tape was substantially dominated by the eddy current loss in the Ag matrix.

  • Background: Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare diseases comprising abnormally dilated arteries and veins with an absence of a capillary network. Since these diseases are intractable after diagnosis, various treatment strategies have been examined, with continuous efforts to identify target genes. Here, we report relevant new target genes selected via gene microarray. Methods: Endothelial cells were isolated from samples collected from three patients with AVM and three healthy individuals, followed by microarray analysis. Additionally, quantitative PCR was performed to select genes highly relevant to AVM. Results: In the vascular endothelial cells derived from the tissues of patients with AVM, the expression of ANGPT1, ANGPT2, DLL4, IL6, NRG1, TGFBR1, and VEGFA was typically higher compared to those derived from normal tissues. Conclusion: Seven candidate genes were selected to analyze the pathophysiological mechanism of AVM. These results may aid in future directions of diagnosis and treatment.

  • The unit of the digital content delivery is the web object. For the improvement of the content delivery based on the web, it id required analysis of reference characteristics of the web object. In this study, we analyze reference characteristics of the web object and evaluate the performance. Using these analysis results, we propose the digital content delivery system which is improved delivery efficiency. The goal of the proposed system are the improvement of the processing time through enhancement of the caching efficiency with reflect reference characteristics of the web object. And the experiment result, we verify the performance enhancement.

Mullite Formation and Effect in Porcelain Body by Replacing Kaolinite with Pyrophyllite (납석으로 카올린을 대체한 도자기 소지의 뮬라이트 형성과 특성)

  • Mullite formation in a porcelain body was promoted extensively by replacing kaolinite with pyrophyllite. Effects of mullite formation and vitrification by substitution of kaolinite with pyrophyllite on the mechanical and thermal properties were investigated. Addition of 45-55% pyrophyllite (pyrophyllite (45-55%)-feldspar (30%)-Gairome clay (20%)) could vitrify the sintered samples (water absorption : 0.05%, bulk density : 2.66g/cc) and improve the flexural strength (122MPa) when fired at $1280^{\circ}C$. Mullite formation was found to be decreased with increasing content of pyrophyllite. On the contrary, beyond 50% of pyrophyllite quartz and cristobalite phases was found to be increased. Thermal expansion coefficient of the samples decreased with increase of mullite phase. In triaxial system of pyrophyllite-feldspar-clay, the mullite formation of the samples with 50% pyrophyllite reaches about 78.7% and thermal expansion coefficient was found to be $5.4{\times}10^{-6}/K$.

Attenuation of Extracellular Acidic pH-induced Cyclooxygenase-2 Expression by Nitric Oxide

  • Corneal endothelial cells play an important role in maintaining the transparency and ionic balance of the cornea. Inflammation causes many changes in the intracellular and extracellular environment of the cornea, including acidosis. We examined the relationship between changes in extracellular pH and expression of cyclooxygenase-2 in cultured bovine corneal endothelial cells. When extracellular pH ($[pH]_o$) was reduced to pH 6.4, COX-2 mRNA increased, with a peak at 2 h. This was blocked by pretreatment with actinomycin D and incubation with spermine NONOate (SPER/NO, a nitric oxide donor). Exposure to the $H^+$ ionophore, carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP), also raised COX-2 mRNA levels. CCCP-induced COX-2 mRNA expression was also reduced by SPER/NO. These results were confirmed immuno-cytochemically. These data demonstrate that COX-2 expression is stimulated by the lowering of extracellular pH that could result from bacterial infection, and that this is countered by over-production of nitric oxide, which could also result from bacterial infection.

  • 국내에서 DMB 방송은 대부분의 국민이 휴대하는 휴대폰에 수신기능이 구현되어 있고, 차량 네비게이션에서도 DMB 수신이 가능하여 상당히 보편적 미디어 창구이다. 본 연구에서는 DMB기반의 국지적 재난방송은 국지적 재난의 빈번한 발생과 휴대 기기가 갖는 고유의 개인 중심성과 이동성은 국지적 재난 미디어로 활용할 기술 개발은 큰 의미를 가진다. 국지적 재난방송을 위한 DMB 재난방송 서비스 모델과 방송 시스템 상위 설계 및 기술요구사항 도출 등의 연구를 연차별로 진행 하였다. DMB방송 시스템을 운영한 KBS의 경험을 반영하고, 국지적 방송을 위한 저비용의 시스템을 목표로 국지적 재난 정보 전달에 적합한 방송 시스템 상위 설계와 시스템 간 인터페스 및 기술 개발에 필요한 상세 요구사항을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구의 정확성과 실제 상용화 가능성을 높이기 위해 DMB 방송 차량을 이용한 필드 테스트를 추진하였다. 필드 테스트 에서는 KBS 재난방송시스템과 실시간 연동을 통해 향후 실제 재난방송에 활용 될 수 있는 방송 시스템 운용에 필요한 사항 들을 점검하였다.
