  • The high precision positioning mechanism is used in various industrial fields. It is used in semiconductor manufacturing line, test instrument, Bioengineering, and MEMS and so on. This paper presents a positioning mechanism with dual servo system. Dual servo system consists of a coarse stage and a fine motion stage. The course stage is driven by VCM and the actuator of fine stage is the PZT. The purposes of dual servo system are stability, higher bandwidth, and robustness. Lead compensator is applied to this control system, and is designed by PQ method. Designed compensator can improve property of positioning mechanism.

  • An optical rotary encoder is easy to implement for automatic control applications. In particular, the output of the encoder has a digital form pulse, which is also easy to be connected to a popular digital controller. By using the encoder, there are various angular velocity detecting methods, M-, T-, and M/T-method. Each of them has a property of its own. They have common limitation that the angular velocity detection period is strongly subject to the destination velocity magnitude in case of ultimate low range. They have ultimate long detection period or cannot even detect angular velocity at near zero velocity. This paper proposes a dual encoder system with two encoders of normal resolution. The dual encoder system is able to keep detection period moderately at near zero velocity and even detects zero velocity within nominal period. It is useful for detecting velocity in case of changing rotational direction at which there occurs zero velocity. In this paper, various experimental results are shown for the dual encoder system validity.

  • Much of the study has been dong on the design of dual controller that guarantee the stability and improvement of the system performance. A dual controller concept is proposed to consist of first controller estimates the control law and second controller suppresses the combined noises due to numerical error and internal noise as well. These irregular disturbances are not only increasing the fatigue but also destabilize the system because of unwanted output performance. The 'stochastic controller' is used to suppress the irregular random disturbance. Simulation is conducted to reveal that the proposed dual stochastic controller is highly efficient one to control a system hybrid noises.

  • 이중 편파 안테나 시스템은 근거리 가시광 통신 채널 환경에서 통신하기 위한 기술로 연구되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 편파 회전각이 미정렬된 상황에서 편파 안테나 간 발생하는 간섭을 고려한 랜덤 변수의 확률 밀도 함수를 구하고, 오수신(outage) 확률을 분석하였다. 또한 편파 회전각이 미정렬된 이중 편파 안테나 시스템의 상한 전송 용량이 4.5324 bps/hz 임을 밝혔다.

  • In the present study, reduction of harmful exhaust gas in a diesel engine using stratified injection system of dual fuel (diesel fuel and methanol) was tried. The nozzle and fuel injection pump of conventional injection system were remodeled to inject dual fuel in order from the same injector. The quantity of each fuel was controlled by micrometers, which were mounted at rack of injection pumps. The injection ratio of dual fuel was certificated by volumetric ratio in injection quantity test. Cylinder pressure and exhaust gas were measured and analyzed under various supply condition of duel fuel. We confirmed that combustion of dual fuel was performed successful1y by using modified injection system in a D.I. diesel. Soot and NOx are simultaneously reduced by stratified injection without large deterioration of thermal efficiency, but THC and CO are relatively increased.

이중관 배기메니폴드의 HC저감효과 및 열특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of HC and Heat Characteristics of the Dual Pipe Exhaust Manifold)

  • During cold-start period, the reduction of exhaust emissions is a challenging task. To decrease harmful gaseous substances such as HC, it is necessary to realize a fast catalyst warm-up. In this study, the performance of dual pipe exhaust system have been carried out through different test mode. From measurement of gas temperature and HC concentration, the following conclusions were derived ; 1) Compared with single pipe, dual pipe exhaust system remarkably increase temperature of exhaust gas going through M.C.C(Main Catalytic Converter). 2) W.C.C.(Warm-up Catalytic Converter) also decreases HC emission. To reduce HC emission, it is helpful to use W.C.C. as well as dual pipe exhaust system. 3) Using finite element method, it is shown that inner parts have much higher distribution of temperature than outer parts.

  • A control algorithm of thyristor dual converter power system is proposed in this study for a railway power substation. The thyristor dual converter can use regenerative power without an additional system using control algorithm. An autonomous voltage and mode change method is also proposed to provide uninterrupted power to the railway. A 10 kW reduced model of the thyristor dual converter power system is built and tested to verify the validity of the proposed control algorithm.

  • An urban railway power substation consists of three thyristor dual converters. Two converters are connected to up and down trolley line to supply the electric energy or feed the regenerative energy back to the distribution. When the two converters break down, the remaining converter is used in an emergency. One thyristor dual converter system (TDCS) manages the energy of two or three railway stations. If the TDCS fails, the trains stop operating. To solve the problem, this paper proposes the three parallel operation control algorithm of thyristor dual converter system using the emergency converter. The broken TDCS can be replaced by the emergency converter in other TDCS. The effectiveness of this proposed control is verified by simulation.

이중 수사(數詞) 체계 지도에 대한 논의 (Discussion on the Guidance of Dual Numeral System)

  • 우리나라는 고유어 수사와 한자어 수사로 구성된 이중 수사 체계를 사용하고 있다. 이러한 이중 수사 체계는 실생활에서 관습적으로 특정 방식이 선택되거나, 두 가지 방식이 혼용되기도 하고, 불규칙하게 변형되기에 수사 학습지도 과정에서 학생과 교사 양측의 부담이 가중된다. 이에 본 연구는 이중 수사 체계로 인한 학습 지도 난점 개선의 필요성을 인지하였다. 이를 위하여 수사 체계 방식이 선택되는 맥락과 다양한 변형 사례, 현행 교육과정과 교과서의 관련 지도 내용을 분석·정리하였다. 분석 결과, 수사를 사용하는 실제 상황에 따라 나타나는 수사 체계 방식의 선택 및 변형의 특징이 존재하였으나 그러한 특징의 기준이 모호하고 교육과정 및 교과서 내 구체적인 지도 지침 또한 부재하였다. 이 경우 현장 교사의 역할이 더욱 중시되기 때문에 교사는 이중 수사 체계 관련 실제 상황의 세부 특징을 인지하고 학생에게는 이중 수사 체계 사용의 다양한 측면에 대한 경험과 연습을 통하여 이해하게 만듦으로써 수사 체계 교수·학습 개선을 위한 방향을 논의하였다.
