주왕산국립공원의 이용자 행태조사 (Surveying Visitors′ Behavior in Chuwangsan National Park)

  • 주왕산국립공원의 이용객 행태조사는 1994년 8월 3일부터 5일까지 자체개발한 설문지를 가지고 현장에서 실시하여 총 346명의 이용객이 참여하였다. 이용객 경제적 특성은 남자가 65%로 과반수 이상을 차지했으며, 교육정도는 대졸 이상이 63%로 교육수준이 높았다. 연령별로는 20대가 48%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 주왕산국립공원의 탐방경험에서는 97%가 주왕산 이외의 국립공원을 방문한 경험을 가지고 있으며, 방문동기는 자연경관을 감상하는 목적이 가장 높았으며, 동반자 특성은 50%의 응답자는 가족과 함께, 그리고 36%는 친구와 함께 방문하였다. 응답자의 51%는 한나절 이용객이었으며, 응답자의 18%는 도시락을 준비하였었다. 일반적으로 방문객들은 국립공원의 환경문제에 관심이 많았으며, 대부분의 응답자들은 주왕산국립공원의 환경상태가 양호한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 쓰레기를 불법투기하는 6가지의 이유 중에서 무의식중에 버린다는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 그 다음으로 환경이 버려져 있으므로 버린다는 환경탓에 의한 경우였다 대부분의 방문객은 남이 하는 환경훼손행위 에 대해 직접 나서서 시정하는 ‘끼어들기 행태’를 좋아하지 않았다. 가상적인 딜레마에서 공원의 규칙을 지키려는 의도가 강하면, 반대로 규칙을 어겨도 된다는 의도는 약한 것으로 나타났다.

지역축제 운영시스템의 품질이 방문객의 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 청원생명축제를 중심으로 - (An Influence Analysis of the Visitor's Satisfaction by Operating System of Local Festival - Focused on the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how the operating system quality of Cheongwon Organic Festival, a local festival held in Cheongju, affects visitor satisfaction, and to also revitalize the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival through this study. 344 visitors of the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival were recruited to become participants of this study using a random sampling method. There were significant differences in the evaluation of the operating system quality at the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival depending on the visitors' gender, age, education, household income, acquisition of information, purpose of visit, considerations of the purchase of festival goods, purchase of a pre-sales ticket, and residence.Different factors such as the visitors' gender, age, education, household income, acquisition of information, purpose of visit, considerations while purchasing festival goods, and residence impacted the visitors' satisfaction of their visit to the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival. It was found that there was a correlation between the operating system quality at Cheongwon Organic Life Festival and the visitors' satisfaction. The operating system quality as a whole and the event programming showed the highest correlation with the visitors' satisfaction.

공간유형별 농촌경관 평가 및 비교 분석 - 전북 고창 선동권역의 주민과 방문객을 대상으로 - (An Evaluation of Rural Landscape and Comparative Analysis in Accordance with Space Types : Focused on Residents and Visitors of Seondong Region, Gochang-Gun, Jeollabuk-Do, Korea)

  • This study has intended to evaluate rural subjective landscape through participation of residents and visitors according to space types, and to perform comparative analysis of evaluation results between residents and visitors. This study has employed a survey method for which 58 residents of 8 villages within Seondong region at Gochang-gun and 70 visitors to Green Barley Field Festival in the target region have participated. 42 landscape view points were selected according to landscape scopes and space types, and then the preference was evaluated using landscape adjectives after showing pictures already taken for each landscape view point. This study has found the following results. First, whereas residents gave high points to natural landscape and artificial one at the historical culture areas in comparison with other landscape scopes, visitors gave them low points on the other hand. Second, visitors evaluated the cultivated area among space types of mixed landscapes with high value. Third, based on t-test for comparative analysis, the statistically significant differences of evaluation results appeared at 6 places among 8 natural landscapes, 3 places among 12 artificial landscapes, and 3 places among mixed landscapes.

유산관광 자원에 대한 보존 및 이용가치 평가 - 지속가능한 이용을 중심으로 - (Evaluation of Conservation and Use Values of Heritage Tourism Resources - Focused on Sustainable Use -)

  • Heritage resources have become important social assets as the global interests in heritage tourism increased. Utilization of heritage as unique tourist destination has positive effects on regional economy, which in turn plays an important role in heritage conservation. However, it was found that the essential quality of heritage resources has been degraded and even destroyed when excessive use was permitted. This undesirable side-effects of heritage tourism have led to the growing concern for sustainable tourism that can contribute to both utilization and conservation of heritage. In order for sustainable tourism to be effectively implemented, it is crucial for visitors to be aware of the need for heritage conservation because they are the most important consumers of the heritage. The purpose of this study was to suggest some basic information for sustainable tourism by investigating visitors' evaluation of conservation and use values of heritage resources. The study sites were the two Korean traditional temples(Sokrisan Bubjusa and Naejangsan Naejangsa) and contingent valuation method was used. 390 visitors in Bubjusa and 308 visitors in Naejangsa participated in the questionnaire survey. From the results, sustainable tourism is possible in such heritage areas as traditional temples because the participants had relatively balanced values for heritage conservation and use. The WTP for natural conservation value was found to be highest in both temples; visitors may be more agreeable with the heritage conservation plan if the sustainability of natural resource is emphasized. Also, the use value of heritage could be influenced by the tourism utilization of the area where the heritage was located. If there are no other famous tourist destinations except the heritage in the area, additional plans to develop alternative destinations should be prepared in order to formulate the agreement on the need to protect the heritage among visitors, local communities, and government.

소비자안티사이트의 이용실태와 소리자권리 증진을 위한 소비자안티사이트 활성화 방안 (The Use of Consumer Anti-sites and Suggestions for Activating Consumer Anti-sites for Promoting Consumer Rights)

  • With increasing of communication technology in cyber-space, the space of consumer complain behavior moved from off-line to on-line, so called anti-site. No researches, however, really have done how the anti-sites worked for promoting consumer rights through consumer complain behaviors in cyber space. The purpose of this research was to give some suggestions for activating anti-site for promoting consumer rights. For this purpose, questionnaire on-line survey was conducted from April, 12 to 24, 2004. And 143 samples, who were visiting anti-site during survey period, were selected. Main findings were as following: First, visitors had rather positive confidence with informations in anti-sites. Second, visitors thought that anti-sites were working rather well in implementing consumer movement by sharing their experiences, and by supporting complaining space in cyber. Visitors, however, thought that anti-sites were not working well as a space for companies, not by giving their attentions on consumers' complains. Third, the satisfaction level of visitors was found to be rather high in terms of informations in anti-sites, and to be rather low in terms of companies' attentions on anti-sites and management of anti-sites. Based on results, some suggestions of activating anti-site for promoting consumer rights were as following: First, visitors should not only get information, but support new and useful informations for others. And also it was suggested that visitors should join consumer movement through anti-site actively. Second, companies should pay attentions on anti-sites for their sake because anti-sites could give very useful information improving customer satisfaction, and finally reducing cost and increasing profit.

덕유산 국립공원의 이용자 행태조사 (Surveying Visitors′ Behavior in Tokyusan National Park)

  • 덕유산 국립공원의 이용객 행태조사는 1993년 8월 9일부터 12일까지 3박 4일 동안 실시되었으며, 총 443명의 이용객이 참여하였다. 이용객 특성은 남자가 68.7%로 과반수 이상을 차지했고, 교육정도는 고졸과 대졸 이상이 각각 27.5%와 64.7%였으며, 연령별로는 20대 이용객이 54.7%로 대종을 이루고 있었다. 덕유산 국립공원의 탐방경험에서는 구천동계곡쪽은 49.2%가, 그리고 무주리조트는 67.9%의 응답자가 초행인 것으로 나타났고, 방문동기는 계곡이용 목적이 가장 높았으며, 동반자 특성은 친구들과 함께 온 경우가 46.6%, 그리고 가족과 함께 온 경우가 37.1%로 나타나 친구나 가족모임이 많았다. 활동의 특성에 있어서는 숙박형 이용객이 응답자의 83.4%로 높은 비율을 차지하고, 50%이상이 숙박시설을 이용하였다. 국립공원내에서의 쓰레기 처리는 쓰레기통이나 다른 사람이 이전에 버렸던 곳에 버리는 행위가 각가 64.7%와 31.1%로 대부분이었으며, 쓰레기 불법투기의 이유는 무의식적인 행위나, 환경탓에 의한 것으로 나타났다. 대부분의 응답자들은 다른 사람들의 쓰레기 불법투기 행위에 대한 간섭을 꺼리는 것으로 나타났으며, 공원이용을 위한 교육 및 홍보자료의 요구도가 높았다.

IPA를 이용한 계절별 국립수목원 이용객의 서비스 질 만족도 연구 (An Analysis on the Satisfaction of Service Quality for Seasonal Arboretum Visitors using IPA)

  • 본 연구는 국립수목원 이용객을 대상으로 계절별 서비스 질 만족도를 조사함으로써, IPA를 활용하여 수목원 운영시 고려해야 할 서비스항목을 도출하고 국립수목원 서비스의 질적 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 실시하였다. 봄, 여름, 가을에 방문하는 수목원 이용객을 대상으로 5개 부문의 24개 서비스 질 항목에 대해 방문 전 중요도와 방문 후 만족도를 7점 리커트(likert)척도를 사용하여 설문조사하였다. 그 결과, 계절별 서비스 질에 대한 중요도와 만족도는 모든 계절에서 평균 5점 이상의 긍정적인 수준을 보였으며, 특히 여름에 서비스 질에 대한 중요도와 만족도가 모두 높게 나타났다. 또한 중요도-만족도분석을 통해, 여름의 가시성 부문 항목들이 중점개선영역에 주로 나타남에 따라, 서비스 부문 간에 중요도-만족도에서 계절별 차이가 있음을 확인하였다.

문화관광축제 참가자 만족도 연구-난계국악축제 사례('2003/2004) (Visitors' Satisfaction about the Cultural Tourism Festival : The Mange Traditional Music Festival 2003/2004)

  • 본 연구는 국내의 유일한 국가지정(문화관광부) 문화관광축제중에서 유일한 국악축제인 난계 국악축제의 2003년과 그리고 2004년 축제방문자를 대상으로, 축제 방문객의 프로그램 만족도를 조사하여 국악 축제만족도를 향상 시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하기 위해 연구 되었다. 세부적으로, 축제를 방문한 지역민과 국내 축제 방문객간의 만족을 비교하였고, 인기 있는 국악 악기의 종류와 그 원인을 알아보았다. 이를 통해 난계 국악 축제의 만족도 향상 방안을 제시하였으며, 축제 조직자들에게 실무적 시사점을 주고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 축제 프로그램에 관한 지역민들의 만족도는 국내 방문객들보다 높았다. 둘째, 방문객들은 장고와 대금같이 익숙하고 배우기 쉬운 국악악기를 선호 하였다. 셋째, 방문객들은 체험중심의 프로그램에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 된 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과를 중심으로 난계 국악축제 조직자들에 대한 실무적 시사점으로 첫째, 더욱 많은 체험 프로그램의 도입의 필요성이 지적되었다. 둘째, 다른 국악기들간의 소리 방해 문제는 방문자들의 만족도를 떨어뜨리는바 분리된 악기 체험실이 필요하다. 셋째, 축제프로그램에 대해 더욱 적극적인 대외적 안내활동이 필요하다. 넷째, 전통국악 악기와 전통음악에 대한 일정수준의 지식을 가진 가이드에 의한 축제 프로그램 해설이 필요하다. 또한 축제 방문 외국인을 위해서, 외국어에 능통하면서도 전통국악기에 대한 지식이 풍부한 해설사의 필요성이 제기 되었다.

국립공원의 이용자수 변동요인 및 추정모형에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Fluctuation factors and Model of Daily Visitors of National Park)

  • The purpose of this study is to prove the factors affecting the fluctuation of daily visitors in five mountainous national park(Kayasan, kyeryongsan, Naejangsan, Soraksan, Songnisan), and to analyze the relationship between these factors and daily visitors in Korea. "Three Factors and Nine Categories"(Aoki, K. & Aoki, Y. : 1974, 1979) has been applied to this study, and statistical analysis method was carried out by computer program SAS and SPSS. The number of daily visitors is calculated based on the data of "Daily entrance ticket sale report" by administration office in each national park. The scope of time period is during the last 5years(1982∼1986: 1825days) and the results were as follows: 1) There were significant differences in the number of daily visitors of each national park among months, days of a week and weather-the same as the previous study of urban park case. But it wold be better for their category classification to be adjusted according to the fluctuation pattern of each national park. 2) The peak of monthly visitors comes in May(Kayasan, Soraksan, Songnisan) or October(Kyeryongsan, Naejangsan). These months are specified as group tour season. On the basis of monthly fluctuation pattern, Each national park were classified into seasonal type, that is, kayasan, Soraksan were proved to be three-season type(Spring, Summer, Autumn), Songnisan to be two-season type(Spring, Autumn), and Naejangsan to be one-season type(Autumn). 3) The weekly pattern differs from three category (weekday, weekend, holiday: Eom, Choi 1986) in the case of urban park study. And there is no significant difference in daily fluctuation pattern by weather (fine, cloudy and rainy day), but significant difference between snowy and the others. This result is due to the characteristics of visitors, which is, the major visits of national park are planned in a advance of the tour, therefore it is difficult to change the plan by the weather. 4) the result of correlation analysis showed that the most influential factor on national park use in Kayasan, Naejangsan, Soraksan and Songnisan is ′Monthly characters (M)′, on the contrary ′Day of week(D)′ in Kyeryongsan only. From the result, The more parks are resource-based, the more ′Monthly characters′-factor is supposed to affect the number of daily visitors rather than ′Day of the week′-factor. This means that kayasan, naejangsan, Sorakson and Songnisan are classified into resource-based type, but on the other hand Kyeryongsan should be classified into intermediate type.

수산관광축제의 고유성이 방문객 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 기장멸치축제를 중심으로 - (An analysis on Authenticity of Fisheries Festival - The Gijan Anchovy Festival -)

  • Prior research on the fishery village tourism has mainly focused on the development and activities in the field, but lacking in strategic approaches. To overcome such a limitation, this study intends to measure visitors' authenticity on Gijang Anchovy Festival, test reliability and validity of the measurement items, and to identify the relationships among variables by a regression analysis of visitors' satisfaction. Authenticity means the value of existence. The types of tourism in fishing villages have been classified as fishery tourism, resource tourism and ecotourism and each of them has its own authenticity. Based on previous research, this study classified it into three factors such as objective authenticity, experiential authenticity and inauthenticity. To analyze the current situation of Daebyeon Anchovy Festival, measurement scales were developed and survey was conducted on the visitors for the three days from April 20 to 23, 2007. A total of 211 questionnaires were distributed and 208 were collected, The questionnaire contains 25 items on authenticity and 4 items on satisfaction and all the items were measured on the 7 Likert scale. It also has 8 items on demographic characteristics. On the test of reliability and validity of the authenticity, 24 items were used, Cronbach's was 0.7 and correlation was higher than 0.3. Factors of objective authenticity, experiential authenticity and inauthenticity were drawn from the factor analysis, which means that the 24 items may be used to measure authenticity of fishery festivals. The findings show that the evaluation score was 4.89 for objective authenticity, 4.36 for experiential authenticity, and 4.24 for inauthenticity. On the test of the hypotheses, the path coefficients were estimated 0.087 for objective authenticity, 0.202 for experiential authenticity and 0.503 for inauthenticity on the visitors' satisfaction. This suggests some meaningful marketing strategies for Gijang Anchovy Festival. First of all, the anchovy festival should focus on motivating visitors to revisit the festival by identifying individual traits, making a pleasant festival oriented toward family visitors, and providing more experience programs about anchovy.
