SWAT2000 모형을 이용한 금강하구호의 유출량 및 영양염류 부하량 산정 (Sreamflow, Nutirnets loading estimation for KEUMGANG estrury using SWAT2000 model)

  • SWAT2000 model directly estimate the loading of water, and nutrients from land areas in a watershed. it allows to add nutrient loading from the point sourece like a sewage treatment plant and it also has a GIS interface which can easily see the spatial relationship between subbasins. For better assessment of nutrients loading to KEUMGANG estuary, SWAT2000 model applied to KEUMGANG estuary watershed. Model calibration and verification was firstly poerformed at Gongju site duing the period $1999{\sim}2003$. $R^2$ value was 0.96 for streamflow, 0.94 for T-N load and 0.52 for T-P load. The accuracy of the model at Gongju site suggest that the SWAT2000 can be available to estimate streamflow, Nutrients loading to the KEUMGANG estuary.

금강 하구호의 월 유입량 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Monthly River-Inflow Evaluation of the Keumgang Estuary Reservoir)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수자원 이용이 매우 복잡한 금강유역의 하류부에 위치한 금강하구호에 대하여 물수지를 분석함과 동시에 금강유역 전역의 용수수급 상황을 파악하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 금강 하구호의 월 유입량을 추정하였으며, 월유출량은 자연유출과 저수유출에 대해 평가하였다. 연구결과, 상류의 대청댐으로 인해 금강 하구호 유입지점의 자연유출에 따른 유입량은 댐 건설전에 비해 홍수기인 7월에는 8.4% 감소하며, 홍수기를 제외한 10월부터 6월까지는 0.4∼17.6%가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 저수유출에 따른 유입량의 월별 변동은 농업용수의 수요가 큰 5-6월에 비교적 크게 나타났다.

  • All countries, including Korea, are currently experiencing the effect of rapid climate change. As a result, the cultivation area of many crops including wheat is changing, or productivity is falling sharply. If enough nitrogen is present in the soil, the increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide due to the greenhouse effect can lead to increased photosynthesis of plants, resulting in increased productivity. By contrast, a low proportion of nitrogen in soil does not increase production, often leading to the use of nitrogen fertilizers to increase crop productivity: this causes serious environmental pollution due to the leakage of nitrogen fertilizers used by crops. Increasing the understanding of the molecular level of the plant nitrogen use efficiency mechanism may contribute to increased productivity of crops and reduced of environmental pollution by nitrogen. In Korea, cultivars have developed 35 kinds of wheat, such as 'keumgang' and 'Chokyeong', which can be used for specific purposes such as baking or noodles. In this study we investigate 'keumgang' and 'Chokyeong' in order to elucidate the mechanism of nitrogen use ability of wheat and contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution by providing guidelines for the proper use of nitrogenous fertilizer.

  • The connection channel for Saemangeum district is to link the lakes between Keumkang Lake and Saemangeum Lake and to dilute the polluted water flowing from Mankyung river, to accelerate desalinization in Saemangeum lake, and to satisfy the future demand of water around Saemangeum district. Therefore, this study is to investigate the surplus water in Keumgang Lake after supplying the current agricutural, life, and industrial water and to check the possibility to divert the surplus water to Saemangeum Lake

Proteomics Approach on Puroindoline Gene of Pre-harvest Sprouting Wheat

  • Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grain texture is an important determinant of milling properties and end product use. Two linked genes, puroindoline a (PINA) and puroindoline b (PINB), control most of the genetic variation in wheat grain texture. Wheat seed proteins were examined to identify PINA and PINB gene using two pre-harvest sprouting wheat cultivars; Jinpum (resistant) and Keumgang (susceptible).Wheat seed proteins were separated by two-dimensional electrophoresis with IEF gels over pH ranges: pH 3-10. A total of 73 spots were digested with trypsin resulting peptide fragmentation were analyzed by matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/MS). Mass spectra were automatically processed and searched through NCBInr, SWISS-PORT and MSDB database with mono isotopic masses and complete gene sequence were found by UniProt database. Puroindoline a and puroindoline b that is responsible for grain texture related with baking performance and roughness. Two spots were found Pin b (16.7 kDa) and Pin a (16.3 kDa) in Jinpum compare to seven spots were identified Pin a (16.1 kDa, 16.3 kDa) and Pin b (16.7 kDa, 9.5 kDa and 14.4 kDa) in Keumgang. Some selected spots were identified puroindoline like grain softness protein (16.9 kDa, 17 kDa and 18.1 kDa) in Keumgang. Moreover, to gain a better inferring the identification of puroindoline related proteins using proteomics, we accomplished a complete gene sequence of PINA and PINB gene in pre-harvesting sprouting wheat seeds between resistant (Jinpum) and susceptible (Keumgang).

한국산 황어아과어류의 계통분류학적 연구 (Systematic Study of the Subfamily Leuciscinae (Cyprinidae) from Korea)

  • 한국산 황어아과 어류의 많은 표본을 국내 여러 하천에서 채집하여 검토한 결과 모두 7속 12종으로 동정되어 이들의 검색표와 동종이명을 제시하고 기재하였다. 종전에 국내에서 Moroco lagowskii와 OP-sariichthys bidens로 기록되었던 것은 표본과 문헌 검토 결과 M. steindachneri와 O. uncirostris amurensis의 학명을 사용하는 것이 타당하다고 생각되었다. 한국산 Aphyocypris chinensis는 중국산 표본 기재에 비해서 두장이 현저하게 크고, 미타장이 짧아 분류학적으로 주목된다. 한국 고유종인 M. keumgang의 두골과 Weberian apparatus를 기재하고, 황어아과 여러 속의 특징과 비교하였데, 그 가운데 Aphyocypris 속의 수개형질(frontal, infraorbital 및 trigeminofacialis foramen 등)이 다른 여러 속에 비하여 아주 특이하였다. 핵형은 3가지 양상을 나타내었으나 (2n=50: T. hakonensis, P. phoxinus, M. oxycephalus, M. steindachneri, M. keumgang; 2n=48: Z. platypus, Z. temminckii, A. chinensis; 2n=76: O. u. amurensis), 염색체배수나 종내염색체다형현상은 보이지 않았다. 전기영동에 의한 14개 유전자의 종간근연관계의 분석은 P. phoxinus와 A. chinensis가 다른 분류군과 유전적으로 구분되었다. 본 연구에서는 황어아과 어류의 계통관계에 대하여 논의하였고, 한국산 황어아과를 1) Zacco, Opsariichthys, Tribolodon, phoxinus, Morco의 5속, 2) Squaliobarbus 및 3) Aphyocypris의 3 group으로 구분되었다.

2단계 추이모형에 의한 금강하구호의 공수도달시간의 평가 (An Evaluation of the Emptiness Passage Time of the Kuemgang Estuary Reservoir by Two-Step Transition Model)

  • 본 연구는 금강하구호의 운영정책을 효율적으로 수립할 수 있도록, 2단계 추이모형으로부터 저수지 정상분포와 공수도달시간을 평가하는 데 있다. 이를 위해서 저수량과 유량의 결합분포에 이산 Markov과정을 도입하였으며, 저수지 유입량 분포로는 이항분포를 이용하였다. 계산결과, 대청댐 건설이전인 1952년부터 1980년 유량자료로부터 갈수시 자기 상관계수의 도입에 따른 저수지 정상분포의 공수확률은 0.952에서 0.904로 감소하며, 대청댐 건설이후인 1981-1989년까지는 저수지 정상분포의 공수확률은 0.900에서 0.829로 감소하였다. 한편 평균공수도달시간은 초기 저수량이 1단위에서 댐건설전은 23일에서 37일로 증가하며, 건설후는 29일에서 61일로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 비교적 용량이 적은 금강하구호에서 저수율이 낮을 때 정상분포, 공수도달시간 등이 저수지 유입량의 자기상관계수에 따라 변화함을 알 수 있다. 따라서 갈수시 감강하구호의 효율적인 이수관리를 위해서는 유입량의 자기상관성을 고려해야 한다.

태권도 품새 우수·비 우수선수 간 학다리서기의 균형성 비교 (Comparisons between Skilled and Less-Skilled Players' Balance in Hakdariseogi)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the balance differences between skilled players and less-skilled players during Hakdariseogi motion of Keumgang Poomsae in Taekwondo. To achieve the study goal, total of 10 Taekwondo athletes; 5 skilled players(S, body mass: $67.0{\pm}5.7$ kg, height: $174.0{\pm}4.8$ cm, age: $20.0{\pm}2.0$ yrs) and 5 less-skilled players(LS, body mass: $73.0{\pm}4.9$ kg, height: $176.4{\pm}6.1$ cm, age: $20.8{\pm}1.3$ yrs) participated in this study. A three-dimensional motion analysis with 8 infrared cameras and one force plate whose sampling frequency as 30 Hz and 300 Hz, respectively, were performed. Participants' motion were divided into three phases which were preparation phase(P1), performing phase(P2) and maintaining phase(P3). The range and velocities of COP, the range and RMS of ground reaction torque and displacement between COM and center of BOS of each phase were computed. In this study, at P1 and P3 which were double and single stance, respectively, the range and M-L velocities of COP revealed significantly higher in LS compared with those of S(p<.05). At P2 which was single stance, LS indicated significantly higher in range of COP and ground reaction torque, and M-L velocities of COP than those of S(p<.05). The significantly shorter displacement between COM and center of BOS, however, was found in LS compared with that of S(p<.05). The results from our study indicated that S revealed more stable performance and a better posture control ability during performing Hakdariseogi motion.
