The water conditioning experiments of brown rice were performed to analyze the variation of the milled rice recovery using a continuous type conditioner at Jin-ju, Yeo-ju, and Yong-in RPC(Rice Processing Complex). About 8,000 kgf, 6,000 kgf and 10,000 kgf of the brown rice of 13-14 %(wb) initial moisture contents were used as experimental materials at Jin-ju, Yeo-ju, and Yong-in respectively. The broken rice and rice bran were collected and weighted to calculate the milled rice recovery. The amounts of broken rice with water conditioned occurred lower than that of broken rice without water conditioned. And the milled rice recovery of water conditioned ones were increased as 1.22%, 0.87%, and 1.00% compared with those of the non water conditioned ones at Jin-ju, Yeo-ju. and Yong-in respectively. Especially, the result of the experiments of Jin-ju RPC showed that about 33% and 35% of total increased milled rice recovery were the portion of the moisture content increment and the broken rice reduction respectively.
Interactions between cage wheel and soil under the wet paddy field condition were analyzed. The cage wheel as a traction aid to driving tires of tractor was attached to the outside of the tires. The driving torque transmitted only to the cage wheel was measured and its effect on the total driving torque by both the tires and cage wheel was analyzed. Mathematical models were developed to predict the soil thrusts y a single lug and by the cage wheel with many lugs, respectively. Experimental results showed that as the diameter of cage wheel increased, positive effects of the cage wheel on the traction also increased. About 33-40% of the total traction force was obtained by the cage wheel with a diameter 1,182mm and 49-55% with a diameter 1,222mm. The peak thrust of the single lug of cage wheel increased by 31% and 59%, respectively when the diameter of the cage wheel increased from 1,182mm to 1,222mm and 1,262mm. The thrust by the cage wheel was estimated by using the developed mathematical models and the results were proved that the models are reliable for the estimation of the traction by the cage wheels.
This paper focuses on a development of a sensor system measuring locations of a vehicle to localize a mobile robot while it tracks on the track (location sensor) . Also it focuses on a system configuration identifying the vehicle's orientation and distance from the object while it is stationary at certain station (position sensor) . As for the location sensor it consists of a set of sensors with a combined guiding and counting sensor, and an address-coded sensor to localize the vehicle while moving on the rail. For the position sensor a PSD (Position Sensitive Device) sensor with photo-switches sensor to measure the offset and orientation of the vehicle at each station is introduced. Both sensor systems are integrated with a microprocessor as a data relay to the main computer controlling the vehicle. The location sensor system is developed and its performance for a mobile robot is verified by experiments. The position measuring system is proposed and is robust to the environmental variation. Moreover, the two kinds of sensor systems guarantee a low cost application and high reliability.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare perception on bionursing and satisfaction and importance about bionursing subjects of clinical nurses with that of professors using a coorientation model. Methods: Subjects for this study consisted of 135 clinical nurses at a tertiary hospital and 114 nursing professors. Questionnaire for perception on bionursing consisted of competency of professor, linkage with clinical practice and research of bionursing. Perceptions on bionursing education and research, satisfaction and importance about subjects of bionursing were measured. The data were analyzed by t-test. Results: Perception of clinical nurses on research of bionursing was more positive than professors. Perception of professors on research of bionursing was significantly less than that of professors estimated by clinical nurses. Perception of clinical nurses on linkage with clinical practice and research of bionursing estimated by nursing professor was significantly less than that of clinical nurses. Satisfaction of clinical nurses with the subjects of bionursing was significantly less than that of professors. Clinical nurses perceived anatomy the most important while professors perceived physiology the most important. Conclusion: Perceptions of clinical nurses on bionursing as well as satisfaction and importance about subjects of bionursing were identified to be different from those of professors.
Generated agri-chemical droplets by orchard sprayers are evaporated regenerated and transported along wind streams. The droplets are deposited to targets after changing their sizes, affecting the retention of droplets. An orchard sprayer, designed for spraying grapevines was studied on the spatial distribution of droplet size. The experimental variables were spray direction (0, 22.5, 45, 67.5 and 90˚), distance(2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 m) and fan speed (2,075 and 3,031 rpm). Droplet sizes were converted and analyzed from spray stains, sampled using water sensitive papers. The number median diameter (NMD) increased with an increase of the distance due to disappeared fine droplets (<50 ㎛): however, the volume median diameter (VMD) decreased due to shrunken large droplets (>100 ㎛). Fast fan speed delivered large droplets to 3.5 m, but the spatial distributions of NMD and VMD were not uniform. Slower fan speed decreased the possibility of evaporation and drift; therefore, plenty of droplets were maintained up to 3.0 m. The upward blasting distance was limited within 3 m, but the limit to the ground level was extended to 3.5 m. Concentrated wind and droplets to the ground level should be redistributed to upper canopy direction, leading more uniform deposits. High speed wind and system pressure should be avoided because of generating fine droplets, which would be disappeared and drifted away.
This study was conducted to develop a speed control system of a DC motor which drove a barley seeder mounted on a combine harvester. Barley seeder mounted on a combine has been known to reduce labor and cost of barley cultivation. However, development of the seeder has been unsuccessful because the combine, a dedicated rice and barley harvester has not enough space and proper power take-off for barley seeder. To develop a barley seeder, small powered motor speed controller was required. A proximity sensor for detecting working speed of the combine and a programmable one board microprocessor was used to develope a control system. Motor parameters and motor constant, relationship between seeding rate, motor speed, groove volumes of a tested roller, torque were measured. The proximity sensor sent a frequency signal to the microprocessor. In laboratory experiments, the excitation voltage of the motor was shown not to be proportional to the size of pulse width (duty ratio). A table transforming frequency signal, that represented for working speed to proper pulse width was developed from seeding rate experiments. However, seeding rate at low frequency signal was not proportional to the working speed. Seeding rate control proportional to the frequency signal was achieved by shifting of the frequency signal.

I have investigated questionaire concerning to the view of worth and construction of consciousness as to boarding system collegian who will employed in fisheries and maritime industries. The results were as follows; It appeared 38.9% that most collegian had a firm subjectivity about enrolled motive, selection of department, they had selected department according to the neighborhood recommendation, own squired score rather than the adaption and prospection, also it was appeared 55% that they had not satisfied with attending to their college, accordingly, the effectiveness of education were demolished in such aspects. It was appeared 74.3% that the education of fisheries and maritime college were divided into theory and practice pertinently also, 77.1% that modulate both technical education and human like education but as a general rule, the education of ocean going liscensed officer was appeared 7.1% only so that, the reformation of the curriculum and contents of education would be needed. As to the relation between professors and collegian, it was appeared 38.4% that well understanding professor, 18.1% that well teaching professor, 13.3% that they having humanlish relation with professor, 30.6% that they will benefit to vocational selection. consequently, the professor have to brings up the harmony on dint of education and industries. The things which collegian think to be worth were 43.6%, intercourse of friend 30.3%, circle activity. 6.6% listening lecture, also, the leisure activity after school were 74.7% with friends. 16.4% alone. consequently, the professor has to guide of leisure activity after lesson. most collegian has a good relationship with their parent(91.6%) but the respond with bad relationship was 8.4%. The most serious agony which collegian think about is vocational problems (48.9%), the other sex problem(22.5%). The objects consult with agony was aquaintance(54.9%). The parent(5.1%), professors(2.3%), the collegian who did not consult with agony was 20.9%. The parents and the professor is not object consult with their agony. so that, the professors has to strengthen the education according to the human nature. As to job after graduation of such college, collegian who wish to be taken job on the fisheries and maritime industry were 50.5%, on the contrary, the collegian who wish to be taken a job no relation with his major subjects was 29.1% especially, the collegian who want to be embarked was 26.3% (fisheries 23.3%, maritime 30.5%). so that, we must adopt the counter plan for the globalization and effective investment on the fisheries and maritime college.

This study examines the influence of mentoring function on major adaptation of university students in a fashion related department and identifies the moderating role of self-efficacy and mentor competence on the effectiveness of a fashion mentoring function. Questionnaire data were gathered from 266 university students in a fashion related department with previous experience in a mentoring program. The results showed that the psychosocial function, sensitivity developmental function, and the fashion career developmental function had a positive impact on the department adaptation (adaptation for professor and adaptation for learning). In addition, there were moderating effects of self-efficacy on the influence of the fashion career developmental function on professor adaptation and the moderating effects of mentor competence on the influence of the sensitivity developmental function on professor adaptation. The results of this study provide various guidelines for professors or administrators of fashion related departments who are interested in mentoring systems.
This paper explored how university students viewed flipped learning from their own perspectives. Using qualitative research methods, 5 students from a Computer Graphics course at a mid-scale university in Seoul were interviewed for this purpose. Researchers collected data about their learning experiences, emotions, and reflections about flipped learning in general and its components such as online materials, in-class activities, and instructor guidance. Research findings indicated that students were not so much conscious about the unfamiliarity of the class, the increased work load, nor the online lectures. They rather prioritized 'what they could actually learn' from the course, and thus defined flipped learning as a method which enabled students to constantly check and fill in the gaps in their learning through team-based activities and prompt feedback from the professor. A combination of students' positive attitude and active participation in team-based activities, the overall atmosphere of the department which supported interactivity and collaboration, the professor's emphasis on learning-by-doing and student-centered learning appeared to form their notions of flipped learning. The use of technology did not appear to heavily impact students' conceptions of flipped learning. Researchers suggest that pedagogical beliefs of the professor, culture surrounding the learner, and the good match between the course content and instructional strategies are central for designing a successful flipped learning class.
Most compressive strengths commonly used in the construction field are in a range of 240 to 300 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 28 days. To get this rage of strengths, however, high-flowing concrete requires cementitious binders more than 400 to 450 kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ for preventing segregation and sedimentation of aggregates. This amount of cementitious binder generates a large emission of excessive hydration heat, which may consequently induce harmful cracks in concrete structure. In order to reduce excessive hydration heat, thus, this paper aims at fabricating a high-flowing concrete under the condition that cement content is kept as low as 350kg/$\textrm{cm}^3$ by using viscose agents. In a parametric study, effects of cement types such as a ternary blended cement and Type V on he physical characteristics of high-flowing concrete were evaluated. In addition, the influence of viscosity was also investigated by applying two different viscose agents, one in a range of 6,000 to 10,000 cps and the others of 10,000 to 14,000 cps. In terms of chemical admixtures used in concrete mixture, the superplasticizer was Sulfonated Melamine-Formaldehyde Condensate with about 30,000 of molecular weight, and main component of viscose agent was HPMC (Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose). Slump flow was fixed at 50cm with different dosages of superplasticizer in weight.
