The authors investigated the present status of employment of graduates from ship-boarding departments, the Department of Fishing Technology, of Marine Engineering and of Communication Engineering. Graduater from the departments in Tong-Yeong Fisheries Junior College from 1977 to 1988 were taken as samples. The prospects of the graduates were studied on the bases of the present status of employment. The results obtained can be shown as follows ; 1. In Department of Fishing Technology, the number of graduates who are engaged in major field is 523 (56%) among total members of graduates 929, and number of fishing vessel officer is 382(73%) among above members of employment in major field. 2. In Department of Marine Engineering, the number of graduates who are engaged in major field is 553 (58%) among total members of graduates 953, and the number of merchant vessel officers is 357 (65%), among the above members of employment in major field. 3. In Department of Communication Engineering, the number of graduates who are engaged in major field is 340 (49%) among 698, total members of graduates, and the number of graduates who are engaged in electronics and communication field is 196 (58%) among the above members of employment in major field. 4. Developements of deep sea fisheries enable graduates to make easy to get jobs, but difficult to get. land jobs related to major field.
Objectives: The questionnaires of body condition were developed to increase golf performance and to find psychological factors in junior golfer. This study was how much golf performances got improved after acupuncture treatment. Methods: October $28^{th}$, $29^{th}$ 2010 and January 2011, 130 junior golfers were taken 8 questionnaires. Sixty junior golfer of them were selected, twenty of them were taken acupuncture treatment spontaneously and forty of them were not taken it. The acupoints were K10, H3, Sp3, H7. The statistics was used paired student t-test of before and after treatment and correlates analysis for analyzing relationship with questionnaires. Results: 1. The result of reliability among questionnaires was signified. 2. About questionnaires, golf score was related with satisfied shots, to endure hungry and about digestion. (p<0.5) 3. Anxiety was related with pain in ribs, about sleep, about bowl movement and about digestion. 4. It was obtained Regression equation of 41.9 % prediction between anxiety and 4 questionnaires. 5. The result of paired T-Test, the difference was $2.45{\oplus}4.69$ between $1^{st}$ score and $2^{nd}$ score in acupuncture treated group. (p<0.05) Conclusions: This study was important to improve golf performance with Asian medicine. Further clinical research is necessary to develop more delicate analyses and questionnaires. Also through the diagnosis and corresponding treatments based on the Asian Medicine, the ways of improving golf performance should be developed.
The purpose of this study was to furnish data for a new curriculum of the "Bachelor's Degree Course at Junior College" in Korea. Domestic three colleges and one university were selected for comparative analysis about curriculum of the dental laboratory technology. Moreover, three colleges and three universities were selected in Australia, Canada, and USA which are preferred highly on overseas employment by the korea students of dental laboratory technology. From the six colleges and four universities, number of subjects and credit hours on special study were acquired and compared. Between domestics, an agreement on special study were compared. Transferable subjects from korea to foreign were acquired. From the number of subjects and credit hours on special study comparing, following results were obtained. The results were as follows; 1. The ratio of the number of subjects and credit hours on special study were averagely 78.2% and 83.7% in domestic college, 70.8% and 69.7% in domestic university. 2. The ratio of the number of subjects and credit hours on special study in Canada was similar to domestic but those in Australia and USA were less than domestic. 3. Between domestics, an agreement of subjects and credit hours on special study were 81.2% and 84.2% in Catholic University of Busan, 72.2% and 76.4% in Daejeon Health Science College, 71.2% and 72.8% in Gwangju Health College University, 65.1% and 65.9% in Shin Heung College University respectively. 4. Transferable subjects from Korea to Australia or Canada was more than USA. Those to Australia was similar to Canada. These results suggest that the degree of special study in domestic is more than foreign, transferable subjects from Korea to Canada should be profitable and those data is furnish for a new curriculum of the "Bachelor's Degree Course at Junior College" in Korea.
This study aimed at inquiring into the basic theory on CIEO(the Cooperation between Industry and Educational Organizations), grasping and analyzing the present situation of the health junior college, the present condition of CIEO and into problem and seeking to find a solution to activate the CIEO of the health junior colleges. This study suggested five methods as the method of consolidating the on-the-spot-training as below : 1. The execution of the basic research for the on-the-spot-training. And the reorganization of the existing curriculum into the curriculum the industrial organization requires. 2. The participation in solving commonly the problems of the industrial organization and in education. The establishing of the guidance system assuming exclusive charge of the on-the-spot-training. 3. The extension of the period of the on-the-spot-training and the reorganization of an educational system. The submission of the evaluation sheet for the on-the-spot-training. 4. The securing of the educational dost spent on the on-the-spot-training and the imposition of benefits on the industrial organization. 5. The persistent support for the on-the-spot-training at the governmental dimension. It is required that the CIEO law should be enacted as the legal and institutional solution and that government should lend systematic support to the business enterprise exeuting the industrial educational cooperation such as the institutional support for and the imposition of benifits on the cost of research. The cost of research and development, the cost of internal education and training, and the cost of experiment and practice.
This study was conducted to provide the basic data to activate the consigned education of fashion retailing company in the department of fashion design in a junior college. 36 consigned education students from fashion retailing company in Daegu were surveyed and interviewed. The result can be summarized as follows: 1. Their motives of study lie in ‘I wanted to study in a junior college’ (55.6%), ‘It would be some help for my job’. ‘My company recommended’ (16.7%), and ‘I wanted to get a higher degree’ (11.1%). 2. Their preferences in terms of major and subjects lie in ‘fashion marketing’ (30.6%), ‘fashion coordination’ (25.0%), and ‘fashion information’ (19.4%). 3. The occupations they wanted to get are ‘a displayer’ (38.9%), and ‘a shop master’ (30.6%), and ‘a merchandiser’ (8.3%). 4. The ratio of theories to practices they want is ‘40:60ㆍ30:70’ (27.8%), ‘50:50’ (22.2%), ‘20:80’ (11.1%) 5. With regard to their adaptability in school, they answered that ‘I'm doing quite well’ (44.4%), ‘I'm doing OK’. ‘It's a little hard to follow’ (22.2%) 6. About teaching methods and contents, they responded that they want ‘more emphasis on practices’ (41.7%), and they commented that ‘teachers are focused on the syllabus procedure rather than students’ practical improvement’ (19.4%), and ‘I feel loaded with too much assignment’ (13.9%) 7. They wanted to be taught by ‘professors’ (77.8%) and ‘professionals in the field’ (19.4%) In conclusion, it is required that both the college and the company need to develop a customized education program focusing on the field training specialized by their cooperation and constant researches. On the part of junior colleges, adjusting their educational directions to the trend of the 21st century, they need to focus on nurturing the consigned students to be highly qualified professionals required by the industry, using hi-tee equipment and facilities through academic and industrial cooperation.
In recent days, most of mothers prefer bottle feeding to breast feeding. Even mothers who started with breast feeding, change to bottle feeding in a short period. Many factors were reported causing the trend, but a significant influencing latter was revealed the mothers' perception that their breast milk wasn't enough for their babies. The purpose of this study were to identify how mothers of 30 years ago kept breastfeeding longer period for their child, and what were the diet they used in order to keep adequate breast milk secretion. The subjects of this study were 95 women who are over 60 years or older. Data were gathered by 13 authors by interview using structured questionnare. There were 16 questions related to subject's demographic informations and the specific recipe which they used, and 7 questions related to breast feeding techniques they used. Data were analyzed by SPSS/PC and content analysis. Results were as follows. 1. The subjects reflected that their milk secretion was enough to feed their tables. 2. More than half of the subject started breast feeding on the 3rd day after delivery and had continued breast feeding until they were pregnant again. 3. The subjects tried to eat as much rice and seaweed (MiYuk) soup as possible and didn't take any other specific diet during the breast feeding period. 4. The subjects didn't pay specific attention to the breast, general health. emotion, home environment. The only thing they did was being careful not to press breast when not feed. 5. Many subjects perceived that breast feeding made them healthy, and only 7% of subjects responded that they had some health problem during the breast feeding period.
A point of doing this research is to give basic data for junior college having matriculation resources in department of electricity majority to the graduate students from Technical high school in department of electricity. We have examined the effect of the 6th and the 7th educational curriculum and courses in department of electricity on technical high school, and analyzed basic subjects of technical high school and detailed major basis subject of junior college in department of electricity by Educational courses and mathematics education contents. Also we have examined tried to secure advantage of major studying on the basis of result of analysis.
A survey was conducted to examine the fatigue and the related factors in pregnancy. 426 pregnant women were recruited from antenatal clinic at 8 hospital from November 1, 1997 to January 1, 1998. Fatigue was measured by the Modification of the Fatigue Symptoms Checklist(MFSC) developed by the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee of the Japanese Association of Industrial health(Yoshitake, 1978). The MFSC consisted of 34 items with 4-point Likert scale. Minor discomfort during pregnancy was measured using a 14-item checklist with 4-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed by percentage, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation. The major findings of study were as follows : 1. The average fatigue score during pregnacy was 63.02 and the average minor discomfort score was 26.92. 2. The fatigue score of nullipara was significantly lower than that of mutipara. There was a significant difference of fatigue score between pregnant women with conjugal family and those with extended family. The fatigue score during 1st trimester was the highest in comparison with that of 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy. 3. The fatigue score of pregnant women who worked for house-keeping only was significantly lower than that of pregnant women who worked partially or did not work for house-keeping. 4. There were significant correlations among each type of measure of fatigue and discomfort. Fatigue was the most common symptom during pregnancy and related to type of family, house-keeping work, and parity. Nursing intervention such as self-car, relaxation, and nutrition would be developed to manage fatigue problem in pregnancy.
