Improvement plan for Function Definition using CAFAT in the Construction VE (건설 VE에서 CAFAT을 이용한 기능정의 개선방안)

  • In the analysis of function, which is the core and early phase among the procedure of construction VE Job Plan, the accuracy of function definition directly connects to VE result. However, the method of defining function, which is currently used is not accurate and comprehended or is difficult to utilize it systematically. Also, there is not a clear definition about the function for selecting VE so that many difficulties occur in the organic connection between each of functions in the summarization of function after defining function. Therefore, this study cleared the definition of function and made up any counter measured problem occurred in FAST Diagram later on and suggested CAFAT(Combined Antithetic Function Analysis Technique) in order to induce better phase in functional analysis.

  • This study analyzed how job stress of counselors at Multicultural Family Support Center effects on their psychological exhaustion. The purpose of this research is on suggesting efficient human resource administration plan by mitigating job stress using the result of analysis. In the result of analysis, MFSC counselors' job stress had an effect on emotional exhaustion, impersonalization, and a factor of decline in sense of self-perfection. Applying this result, this research proposed a necessity of realistic plan preparation to prevent job stress and psychological exhaustion of MFSC counselors.

  • 1002 Students in the dept. of the dental laboratory technology of 8 college around the nation were surveyed on the three items-the professional attitude, their job-plan after graduation and the conditions and causes exerting influence on their choice of a job. 1. professional Consciousness About the purpose to take a job, 41.8% of all the students replied the economic stability. Another question is on the formation of the professional consiousness. 34.7% said they didn't accomplish it yet, while 32.1% did. This shows that the number of those hwo are resolute isnt's too low in comparison with those not. On the considering factors when they take a job, stability was first favored, with the capacity to improve itself and then profitability following on as second and third. 2. Job-plan after School 78.9% of all wanted to work in their major field as a dental technician. About their knowledge of the job, 60.4% know it well; though, their confidence in getting the job is close to the low level wholly. 3. Factors Having Influence on the selection of a job About the most decisive point in one's choice of job, 37.3% selected first the degree of completion of his major-field knowledge and skill. The most critical person when choosing his job was himself, a great number of students answered. About the working area favored, 52.9% first answered Seoul on the reason why it is a familiar place where their family or relatives have already lived and the special knowledge related to the job is easilly accessed.

A Study on the Job Analysis of Job Competency Assessor (직무능력평가사의 직무분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the job competency assessor who assess achievement of job performance ability based on NCS (educational training, qualifications, field experience, etc.) through competency assessment. For this purpose, job analysis including development and verification of the job model and selection of core task are conducted. As a result, main duties of the job competency assessor are to understand the NCS based assessment principle, establish an assessment plan, design and develop assessment tools, assess competence, provide feedback and re-assessment, record and manage assessment result, verify the internal assessment result, establish the RPL (recognition of prior learning) plan, implement the RPL and verify the RPL assessment result, and 48 task are derived. In addition, a total of 21 core tasks are derived based on the threshold value multiplied by the importance and difficulty of the task for each duty. Based on this, implications for job analysis of the job competency assessor are presented.

The Influence of the Job Environment and Health Condition of Dental Technicians (치과기공사의 직무환경이 건강상태에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze dental technician's job environment and health condition level and to examine its correlation. Methods: 250 dental technicians in Seoul, Incheon, and Jeonbuk area were selected. Survey was carried out from October 11, 2010 to November 25, 2010 by using self-administered questionnaire. As for the tools for this study, the structured questionnaire was used with its proven reliability and feasibility, and the questionnaire consisted of total 49 questions which included general attribute of subjects(14 questions), job Environment(13 questions) and health condition(22 questions). The data analysis was processed by computerized system with SPSS Win 17.0. Statistical analysis techniques included frequency, percentage, T-test, One-way ANOVA analysis and regression analysis. Results: As a result of analyzing the research subjects' job environment level, there was significant difference in the item of gender, working hours a day(Hour), healthy condition, job satisfaction level with dental technician, plan for task continuity in dental technician(P<0.05). The average in the job environment was indicated to be high with 2.85. As a result of analyzing the research subjects' health condition level, there was significant difference in the item of gender, task field, working hours a day(Hour), healthy condition, job satisfaction level, plan for task continuity(P<0.05). The average in the self health recognition was indicated to be high with 2.83. Conclusion: Correlation between job environment and health condition, all of variables were indicated to have reverse correlation, thereby having been shown that the worse job environment leads to the more physical subjective symptoms.

Analysis of the effect of dental technicians' job satisfaction factor on turnover intention (치과기공사의 직무만족 요인이 이직의사에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to determine dental technicians' job satisfaction levels and to assess its influence on turnover intention. Methods: We included 230 dental technicians who work within Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, the Gyeonggi Province, and the Chungcheongnam-do Province. We carried out a self-reported survey using a structured questionnaire. Results: As a result of assessing the research subjects' job satisfaction level, we found that there was a significant difference in working hours and a dental-work continuing plan sphere (p<0.05). Achievement & self-realization factors, the human relation factor, and growth & development factors were reported to be major job satisfaction indices. The whole average of the job satisfaction level came to 3.11, thereby appearing to be relatively high. In analyzing the research subjects' turnover intention, there was a significant difference in age, task field, dental-work career, working hours, incumbency, and dental-work continuing plan sphere (p<0.05). The question average for turnover intention was 2.88. As a result of assessing a correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention, a significant negative (-) correlation was found between job satisfaction and turnover intention. Thus, a higher job satisfaction level was observed to lead to a lower turnover intention. Conclusion: As a result of conducting a regression analysis in order to assess the influence of job satisfaction on a turnover intention, a working condition factor, a human relation factor, and a recognition factor each appeared to have a high impact.

  • VE is used as a powerful tool to add value to facilities by improving functionality and reducing costs. By identifying the client's requirements in the VE process and reflecting them in the quality model, the developed alternatives meet the client's requirements. However, there is no process to verify how the developed alternatives reflect the needs of the client through functional analysis, idea generation and evaluation. The purpose of this study was to develop, verify, and prove the effectiveness of a methodology for evaluating client satisfaction with alternatives developed during the VE Job Plan. The KANO model, which can identify the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of requirements in product planning, was set as a methodology for alternative verification procedures of VE, and was improved and applied to the purpose of this study. As a result, the alternative evaluation method developed in this study was found to be useful. It is expected that the KANO model will be used to evaluate the satisfaction of VE alternatives in the VE Job Plan analysis.

Critical reviews of job training and employment support trial plans for immigrant women by marriage (결혼이민여성의 직업교육훈련 및 취업관련 시행계획의 비판적 검토)

  • The aim of this study was to learn what directions need to be reflected when establishing the next-term trial plans by analyzing the current trial plans being implemented in Korea regarding job training and employment support for immigrant women by marriage. For this purpose, the job training suggested in the Healthy Family Basic Plan and Multicultural Family Policy Basic Plan as well as in the Basic Economic Activity Stimulation Plans for Out-of-employment Women were analyzed. Based on this, job training was reconstructed into four categories: 1) education and training program; 2) human resource development; 3) employment support; and 4) delivery system. For the analysis, the policy analysis methods reported by N. Gilbert and P.Terrile were used. The results showed that the current trial plans exhibited immaturity in the Tomorrow Learning Card and Successful Employment Package as well as in the specialization process, lack of a human resource development system, and the absence of governance. Several proposals should consider these when making the next-term trial plans.

  • Construction VE is the system introduced in order to reduce the life cycle cost and promote the performance of construction facilities, used in architecture and civil construction since apply to construction over 10 billion from december 2005. But yet it is short of VE specialist and it is not a purpose in maximization of value creation through VE but strong better awareness of tool for budget reduce.   • 도로건설프로젝트에서의 VE는 도로시설물의 기능을 향상시키고 비용을 절감하기 위한 방법으로 지금까지 널리 활용되고 있다. 그러나, 실제 건설VE 실무에서는 VE Job Plan 중 일부 단계가 생략되거나 형식적으로 수행되는 문제점이 발생되어 VE 수행결과에 대한 신뢰성에 의문이 제기되고 있다. 이는 제조업과 달리 대규모이며 복합공종을 갖는 건설프로젝트의 특성을 반영하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 건설프로젝트는 대규모 복합공종으로 구성되어 복잡하고 다양한 기능 및 요구성능이 있으며, 시설물이 갖는 기능(Function)과 요구성능(Required Performance)의 일부는 반복적으로 발생하는 특징을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 VE Process의 실효성을 높이기 위하여 품질모델(Quality Model)과 기능분석(Function Analysis)단계에서 이러한 특징을 반영한 개선방향을 제시하고, 수차례 실무 검증을 통하여 적용성 및 효율성을 확인하였다. 이와 더불어 고속도로 VE Job Plan은 고속도로 설계 업무절차에 부합하도록 개선하여 VE 수행효과가 극대화 되도록 제안하였으며, 또한 한국도로공사에서 시행하는 고속도로 대한 VE절차를 "Hi-Value"라 명명하고 실무활용성, 효율성을 확대하고 지속적으로 발전시켜 나아갈 계획이다.
