This study aims to examine the causal relationshps between self-efficacy and job satisfaction of young farmers by verifying the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between job ability and job satisfaction of young farmers, and to improve the job ability necessary for agriculture, and to provide implications for the development and operation of curriculum that meets the needs of farmers. To this end, an online survey was conducted on 300 young farmers under the age of 40 among 4-H members in Korea from June 17 to 28, 2022. The results of the analysis to find out the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between job ability and job satisfaction of young farmers are as follows. First, it was verified that self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role in affecting job satisfaction by verifying whether the job ability of young farmers mediates self-efficacy in the relationship between job satisfaction and job satisfaction. It can be said that the higher the job ability, the more positive the job satisfaction and the more positive the self-efficacy, which ultimately has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Second, as a result of verifying whether self-efficacy is mediated in the relationship between job satisfaction and job satisfaction by sub-factors of job competency in detail, self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between agricultural production ability, agricultural machine management ability, and job satisfaction, and agricultural management ability and agricultural information utilization ability do not have a direct significant effect on job satisfaction.
This study aimed to identify the multiple mediation effects of job satisfaction and job commitment on the relationships between job stress and workers' safety behavior in terms of compliance and participation, in which the multiple mediation effects are a hybrid of parallel and serial mediating relationships. The multiple mediation model was analyzed using the bootstrapping method through the PROCESS macro tool in SPSS. The results showed that job stress negatively affects job satisfaction, job commitment, and workers' safety behavior, and the relationship between job stress and safety behavior is mediated by both job satisfaction and job commitment. The serial mediation effects of job satisfaction and job commitment were also found to be statistically significant in the regression relationship between job stress and safety behavior. Further analysis of the compliance and participation subdimensions of safety behavior showed similar results. Specifically, the serial mediation effects of job satisfaction and job commitment on participation and compliance behavior were further supported; however, the mediation effect of job satisfaction was not significant, whereas that of job commitment did remain significant. Further research is needed to determine if the mediation effect of job satisfaction found in this study can be extended and generalized to workers in various fields and industries.

Gastrointestinal endoscopy unit nurses, who were full time worker, having more than 7 years of clinical experiences, having higher incomes, having high subjective work-intensity, and having an intention to change their working units, showed greater job stresses than those of the others. There were significant differences in job satisfaction according to subjective health status, the types of employment, subjective work-intensity, subjective aptitude, intention to change working units, major nursing tasks, and the numbers of major nursing tasks. Also, the subjects's job stress showed a negative correlation with job satisfaction. Conclusion: Findings suggest that management strategies should be developed to increase job satisfaction focusing on general and job characteristics associated with job stress.
This study investigated relationships between personality types and job satisfaction, and performance among school food service dietitians. An online survey was conducted on 200 school dietitians from March 1 to 31, 2022. Of the personality type factors, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness were positively correlated with job satisfaction, whereas neuroticism was negatively correlated. Extraversion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness were positively correlated with job performance, whereas neuroticism was negatively correlated. Regression analysis conducted to determine the effects of personality types on job satisfaction revealed conscientiousness predicted satisfaction with items of the job, agreeableness predicted satisfaction with supervisor's supervision, and extraversion predicted satisfaction with colleagues. On the other hand, neuroticism was a negative predictor of satisfaction with the job, supervisor's supervision, colleagues, and work environment items. Analysis of the effects of personality types on job performance established that openness was a positive predictor of satisfaction with roles of the organization and team, and of conscientiousness for the job, innovator, and organizational roles. In contrast, neuroticism negatively predicted satisfaction with job role items. Further studies are required to explore these relationships more closely by incorporating other major factors related to personality characteristics, job satisfaction, and job performance of dietitians working in various fields.

This study aims to empirically verify the impacts of job autonomy, job feedback and job manualization on the job satisfaction of the non-regular employees in a public corporation. For the empirical analysis, 163 non-regular employees(valid respondents) have been surveyed who are working in a public corporation. And the multiple regression analysis was used to statistically test the research hypotheses. The independent variables are 'job autonomy', 'job feedback', and 'job manualization'. The dependent variable is 'job satisfaction'. The results are as follows. The effects of 'job autonomy → job satisfaction(β=0.182, t=2.664, p<0.01)', 'job feedback → job satisfaction(β=0.208, t=2.927, p<0.01)' and 'job manualization → job satisfaction(β=0.397, t=5.785, p<0.01)' are all shown positive. Therefore, all the proposed hypotheses are accepted. From this result, we can get some lessons for the organizational management especially for the non-regular employees' job satisfaction. If you recognize that the non-regular workers are also valuable human resources for the company, it can be expected that strengthening the internal motivation of the employees through job enrichment such as autonomy, feedback, and manualization can positively influence the effectiveness of the organization.
