Analysis of the Job Stress Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction and Job Involvement in Physical Therapists (물리치료사의 직무만족 및 직무몰입에 영향을 미치는 직무스트레스 요인 분석)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to analyze the job stress factors affecting the job satisfaction and job involvement of physical therapists and to provide basic information for the prevention of job stress among physical therapists. Method : One hundred and eighty-four physical therapists working in hospitals participated in the study by completing the Korean Occupational Stress Scale and surveys about job satisfaction and job involvement. The results were collected and analyzed. Result : The job stress factors the significantly influenced job satisfaction are the following, in order of importance: the organizational climate (p<.05), inter-personal conflict (p<.01), insufficient job control (p<.001), lack of reward (p<.001), and the occupational system (p<.001). The following factors significantly influenced job involvement, again in order of importance: job demand (p<.001), the organizational climate (p<.05), lack of reward (p<.05), the occupational system (p<.01), and insufficient job control (p<.001). Conclusion : The purpose of this study was to analyze the job stress factors affecting the job satisfaction and job involvement of physical therapists and to provide basic information to prevent job stress among physical therapists. The results indicate the need for more studies that analyze the job stress factors of physical therapists and additional studies that specifically analyze the tasks of physical therapists. Studies on how to reduce job stress among physical therapists must also be conducted in the future.

A Study of Job Stress among Librarians in Public Libraries in Pusan (부산지역 공공도서관 사서들의 직무스트레스에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm what the stress factors are in performing their jobs among librarians in Public libraries. The study further investigates to figure out the difference of the degree in cognition of job stress according to demographic characteristics of individuals and the impacts of the stress factors on job satisfaction. A survey was conducted for the study sending questionaires to 113 librarians working in 14 Public libraries in Pusan. The results of the study are followings: 1) Females experience higher job stress than males. 2) The younger the age, the higher the job stress. Also, the shorter the year at work, the higher the job stress. 3) The lower the license class, the higher the job stress. Also, singles than married have higher job stress. 4) In the impacts of stress factors on job satisfaction, role conflict is the most powerful factor, and then role overload, career development, role underload, role ambiguity and interpersonal relation, each in order.

  • The distributive processing job in a hierarchical computer network, which supervises and controls the complex relations between the variables periodically for raising the fault folerance, can be defined its periodicity and its execution time. All the job may be composed of the subsets in relation of Tree structure. For a processor job set this paper finds out a job scheduling algorithm that has the less loose time between period than that of FCFS.

  • This study explored the performance factors of casino information systems for foreigners, empirically examined the causal relation between these factors and the business performances through organizational trust and job satisfaction and suggested a direction to enhance the casino information systems. The result of this study showed that, firstly, information quality impacted positively on security reliability and job satisfaction. Secondly, system quality impacted positively on security reliability and job satisfaction. Thirdly, service quality impacted positively on security reliability and job satisfaction. Fourthly, security reliability impacted positively on job satisfaction through security reliability. Lastly, security reliability and job satisfaction impacted positively on business performance. This research must be continued by expanding upon the variables of this research study, and there is a need for follow up research on methods that can analyze the management performance of casino information systems from a diverse set of approaches and also research that conducts an analysis on systems that are implemented to prevent tax evasion.

  • Today, businesses are under rapidly changing environments that are characterized as stopless competition and uncertainty. Under this circumstance, workers are exposed to much stress that is induced by factors such as lots of job burden, responsibility, role conflicts, role ambiguity, interpersonal conflicts, pressure related to job performance and lots of job-related requests. Unlike workers of other industries, those of distribution business may be more exposed to stress because they serve in unique work conditions. Therefore, distribution workers have an accumulate fatigue of their own, suffering from health problems that are stress-induced. Distribution businesses should positively try to identify factors that fall their workers into stress, making those workers less stressful and preventing their negative job performance. Efforts to reduce workers' stress can not only improve their physical and mental health, but also raise business competitiveness. Thus the purpose of this study is to investigate how much distribution workers' job role, interpersonal relations and job environment are influential to their job stress and thereon determine relations between job stress and job performance.

Health Information Managers' Job Stress in an Electronic Medical Record Environment

  • This study sought to measure the influence of HIMs' work environment changes on job stress, and to explore measures for improving job satisfaction among them. A total of 275 hospital HIMs' were surveyed using a structured questionnaire. Significant job stress impact variables were sorted out using a simple linear regression analysis. Then, through multiple linear regression analysis, multicollinearity was tested. Significant impact factors were identified from among the control variables, and job stress impact was measured. The survey revealed that in public hospitals where the EMR system has been implemented for a longer period, depression scores in HIMs' were increased. HIMs' job stress level was found to be affected by the following factors: computerization of their working environment, experience of depression, unemployment, and manpower reduction, as well as, their lifestyles, including leisure activities. The results of this study suggest that HIMs' job stress can be reduced through work environment improvement and improvement of their personal lifestyle habits.

  • This paper presents the development of application and management system for guiding job information based on android smart-phone. The real-time informations which are provided from the job portal site, become known by using the smart-phone, and the sever system for saving and managing the related informations has been implemented. Especially, the relay and synchronization protocol of job informations have been designed and the system for managing a transmitting and receiving information is also designed and modelled. The developed application has been made up for and registered in the application store for making good use.

  • 본고에서는 Multi-class Jobs을 Dispatching system 에서 처리하는 경우, Cost performance 을 점근적으로 해석하는 과정에 대해 논의한다. 구체적으로, Job 할당 시스템은 Size-Interval 기반의 스케줄링 기법을 이용하고, Resource failure 에 대비하여 Job duplication 전략을 활용하는 것으로 가정 한다.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to look into relationship between job stress and self esteem, job satisfation in rehabilition professional physical therapist. Method : The subjects of this study were consist of 200 physical therapists of Busan rehabilition hospital. Data were collected from September 1 to October 4 in 2012 by structurated questionnaires. Results : Physical therapist Job satisfaction and gender classification according to self esteem were statistically significant differences respectively(T=2.02, P=.044), (T=2.17, P=.031). Job satisfaction and age according to the therapist according to the number of job stress were statistically significant differences respectively(F=3.57, P=.030), (F=3.18, P=.044). Job satisfaction, job stress and self-esteem of a physical therapist were statistically significant correlation (P<.01) Conclusion : Effective countermeasure for ways to relieve stress, and the necessity of developing the program at the same time, for the relief of the physical therapist, the physical therapist yourself to have self-esteem.
