  • Job offer and job search data related to employment are in the form of highly-unstructured texts that occur in real-time, NCS duty, learning modules, and job dictionaries. Job announcements and training information have a high data value amid changes in industrial technology, such as the Fourth Industrial Evolution. This study developed a job data dictionary by defining relevant data to intuitively understand and harness information on job offers and job searches. This study also designed, constructed, and evaluated a data map based on ontology to enable linking and inferring data about public announcement-job-training. Through this, it was found that the inference function centered on work ability enables QoS support that can satisfy users by minimizing mismatch between consumers and optimizing the data dictionary.

  • Understanding the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of employees has been deemed important for smooth and efficient food service management. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the dishwashing employees' job satisfaction and the operational and managerial factors in hospital foodservice systems. A survey of twenty conventional hospital food service systems was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 280 dishwashing employees through mailed questionnaires. Dishwashing employees' satisfaction was evaluated by measuring their job attitudes towards four aspects of their job using the modified Job Description Index (JDI). Descriptive analysis and Pearson product moment correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. The dishwashing workers were found to be more satisfied with their interpersonal relations with co-workers than with work content, pay or promotional opportunities. The demographic variables including education, type of employment and work experience were significantly related to job satisfaction. As the ratio of supervisors to dishwashing workers increased, the degree of satisfaction in dishwashing workers increased significantly.

  • The job mismatch between job seekers and SMEs is becoming more and more intensifying with the serious difficulties in youth employment. In this study, a bi-directional content-based metric learning model is proposed to recommend suitable jobs for job seekers and suitable job seekers for SMEs, respectively. The proposed model not only enables bi-directional recommendation, but also enables HR matching without relearning for new job seekers and new job offers. As a result of the experiment, the proposed model showed superior performance in terms of precision, recall, and f1 than the existing collaborative filtering model named NCF+GMF. The proposed model is also confirmed that it is an evolutionary model that improves performance as training data increases.

  • This study utilized Q methodology to analyze subjectivity and understand the various factors contributing to the employment difficulties faced by college students majoring in digital content, particularly focusing on practical education. The original data was obtained by administering a Q sample, designed around employment stress and job anxiety, to a purposively selected P sample of 31 individuals, who sorted and classified the statements. The analysis yielded four distinct types: 'lack of practical experience,' 'lack of employment and practical skills,' 'impaired career decision-making and weak will,' and 'lack of mentors and employment information.' Based on these types, the study suggests several implications and solutions, including facilitating student participation in internship programs, offering induction and non-curricular program education, conducting career exploration workshops, and expanding senior mentoring opportunities.

  • Objectives: This study investigated the perception on the effects of malocclusion on employment, and aimed to provide information to those who are seeking employment. Methods: The study examined 306 subjects aged 19 to 39 in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do during the month of December, 2016. The data obtained were analyzed using frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and multiple regression analysis among others. Results: The most important factors in job success were education (35.9%), followed by appearance (23.8%), and major (22.1%). On whether there is a correlation between social life and malocclusion, 49.0% and 51.0% of the subjects answered 'Yes' and 'No', respectively. When the factors influencing the perception of the effects of malocclusion on employment were reviewed, it was found that for female(p<0.01) subjects, the perceived effect of malocclusion on life and on employment (p<.001), and the perceived effect of malocclusion on employment were lower in 20-24 year olds and 25-29 year - olds (p<0.01). Conclusions: Many people believe that malocclusion affects employment and that it is necessary to provide information on orthodontic treatment to those who are preparing for employment and ordinary. However, it is important to provide correct information about orthodontic treatments, including functional improvement, rather than simply focusing too much on aesthetic effects alone.

  • The purpose of this dissertation is to positively analyze the characteristics of job center consultants' interorganizational relations and factors that influence this linkage in order to better understand the employment service of South Korea. The material utilized for analysis was collected by surveying consultants and managers of 38 job centers and 364 middle managers while applying the method of hierarchical regression. The following is the summary of the research results. First, there is a difference in the influence factor between the number of consultant's organization linkage and frequency of contact. As seen from this result, if the number of organizations a consultant links is affected by the organization's objective working conditions such as the organization structure, position, and primary responsibilities, then the frequency of contact which indicates intimacy by frequent contact depends on the professional ability of the person in charge rather than objective conditions. Second, the analysis result of influence factors according to the type of organization also displayed different influence factors based on the type. Public organizations and economics related organizations are existent in all areas in the form of municipal offices, public corporation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and labor organizations. Therefore, rather than the personal ability of the person in charge or the influence of other work environments, information of the organization and the actual activities of the head are more influential. On the other hand, private organizations embrace service organizations, employment target related organizations, corporations; they are differentially distributed, which is why they are more influential in organizational reform, decentralization, communication, and the professional ability of the person in charge is significantly influential.
