  • Microcredit was first introduced by non-profit organization in early 2000s and the Ministry of Health and Welfare promoted the support policy of self-support community and the hope-developing bank. And then, microcredit policy was suddenly changed while the microfinance policy was promoted in 2009. For example, there were changes of the control tower of the policy, the emphasis on financial approach from welfare approach, the establishment of the operation agency. This study analyzed the policy changes on microcredit policy using the framework of Hood(1994) and Joo(1999) in order to analyze causes of sudden changes. As results, the reason affecting microcredit policy change was changes of an unemployment rate and the financial environment, the change of outside situation, the policy idea of the middle practicalism of government and the success of the experiment in microcredit, the passive intervention of stakeholders, the internal factors on the policy custom. So the results suggests that the policy is produced illogically because of the absence of stakeholders' participation.

  • In this study we investigated the effects of physical therapeutic intervention through electromyography, ultrasonographic imaging and changes of the IL-$1{\beta}$, IGF-1 and IGF-2 in skeletal muscle of rats injured experimentally. The twenty Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into the 4 groups: a normal, a control, a low power laser and a neuromuscular electrical stimulation group. Abnormal spontaneous activities had not been shown, both in normal and skeletal muscle injured rats. The maximum diameter of the calf muscle was significantly increased in the low power laser and neuromuscular electrical stimulation groups compared with control group. The level of the serum IL-$1{\beta}$ was more decreased in the low power laser and neuromuscular electrical stimulation groups than that of control group. The activation level of the IGF-1 and the IGF-2 were significantly higher in the control, low power laser and neuromuscular electrical stimulation groups than that of normal group. However, there was no statistically significant difference among the control, low power laser and neuromuscular electrical stimulation groups.

The results show that children with ADHD have significantly higher levels of anxiety and parenting stress than normal children. However, no significant differences in parenting stress and anxiety were found across gender, age, and the type of ADHD. • Research on elderly suicide has increased since 2000. It indicates that elderly suicide is receiving a great attention as a part of elderly problems, and policy efforts are needed. However, most of existing research on elderly suicide focused on factors of elderly suicide. Therefore discussion about suicidal prevention measures is staying on general and suggestive level. As a result, this study is trying to seek effective prevention strategies of elderly suicide through systematic analysis of suicidal factors and sporadic policy proposals presented in existing research. To achieve this, the relevant research papers among academic journals registered with Korea Research Foundation are analyzed. According to the results, while the ordinary elderly tended to require macro level of intervention, the potential-risky elderly were inclined to need all of micro and moderate level of prevention efforts. Above all, secondary prevention must be more emphasized in moderate level. In the future direction of research, based on prevention strategies as stated above, it is recommended to entail discussion of what kind of a specific program and policy should be invented and how it should be operated.

  • Purpose: This descriptive study was to examine uncertainty and performance of infection control in the VRE patients' caregivers. Methods: The participants were 82 caregivers who involved with the VRE patients care in D tertiary hospital in D metropolitan city. Data were analyzed with number, percentage, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS/Win 21.0. Results: The participants' uncertainty was 56.99 and performance of infection control was 35.09. Performance of infection control was significantly different by age (F=121.38, p<.001), education (F=102.77, p<.001), relationship with the patient (F=17.80, p<.001), hours of caring per day (t=3.14, p=.002), and type of family (t=-8.65, p<.001). There was a significant negative correlation between participants' uncertainty and performance of infection control (r=-.96, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of the study will be used to develop nursing intervention program and standard protocol for infection control for the VRE patients' caregivers.
