The study analyzed bibliometric data of papers published in Korea Citation Index (KCI) and Web of Science (WoS) journals from 2002 to 2021. After examining size differences of KCI and WoS domains in the number of authors, institutions, and journals to put publication and citations counts in perspective, the study investigated co-authorship patterns over time to compare collaboration trends of Korean and international scholars and analyzed the data at author, institution, and journal levels to explore how the influences of authors, institutions, and journals on research output differ across domains. The study also conducted frequency-based analysis of keywords to identify key topics and visualized keyword clusters to examine topic trends. The result showed Korean LIS authors to be twice as productive as international authors but much less impactful and Korean institutions to be at comparable levels of productivity and impact in contrast to much of productivity and impact concentrated in top international institutions. Citations to journals exhibited initially increasing pattern followed by a decreasing trend though WoS journals showed far more variance than KCI journals. Co-authorship trends were much more pronounced among international publication, where larger collaboration groups suggested multi-disciplinary and complex nature of international LIS research. Keyword analysis found continuing diversification of topics in international research compared to relatively static topic trend in Korea. Keyword visualization showed WoS keyword clusters to be much denser and diverse than KCI clusters. In addition, key keyword clusters of WoS were quite different from each other unlike KCI clusters which were similar.

This paper briefly elucidates the journey of Library and Information Science (LIS) journals published from India since 1912-2016. The study explores that 196 LIS journals have been produced in India during the past 11 decades covering the period from 1912-2016. The states namely New Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and West Bengal have contributed significantly andNew Delhi emerges as the most productive city among the others regarding the production of LIS journals. The study reveals that out of total 196 journals, 15 have been indexed in the University Grants Commission Academic Performance Indicators List and 41 have found their place in national and international indexing and abstracting sources.

본 연구의 목적은 국내외 문헌정보학 학술지들에서 나타나는 협업 범위를 저자수를 이용하여 측정하고 비교하는데 있다. 연구에 필요한 데이터세트를 위해, 2010-2016년도에 발간된 논문으로서 문헌정보분야와 관련된 국외학술지중 Scimago Journal Rank (SJR)에 기재된 최상위권 30개와 4개의 국내 문헌정보분야와 관련된 학술지를 선택하였다. 국내 학술지 저자 정보들은 RISS 데이터베이스에서 수집하였고 국외학술지 저자 정보들은 Scopus 데이터베이스를 사용하여 수집하였다. 연구결과 학술지의 경우 문헌정보 학술지에서는 단독저자부터 3인 공저자 까지가 가장 흔한 저자협업 정보임을 보여주었다. 국외 학술지는 저자협업이 국내학술지보다 더 다수의 경우가 많았다. 특별히, 국내의 경우 단독저자가 가장 흔했는데 국외 학술지에서는 2인 공저가 가장 흔했다. 연구분야를 살펴보면 도서관 관련 분야에서는 단독저자가 가장 흔하였고 과학/기술 분야는 3인 공저가 가장 흔하였다. 결론적으로 문헌정보학 분야에서는 연구분야의 다양성으로 인해 저자수도 상당히 다양해 질 수 있음을 제시하고 있다.

Purpose -The purpose of this study was to review and analyze the four major journals of KODISA and all of their published articles of 2014 and to revise and update the existing publication standards and practices in order to improve the overall quality and reputation of these journals. Research design, data, and methodology - This study applied an analytical approach, a case study method, to analyze and examine the published articles and the publication standards and practices of four KODISA journals, JDS (1999), IJIDB (2010), EAJBM (2011), and JAFEB (2014), from their first publication. Results - In 2014, KODISA journals published a total of 171 papers - JDS (122), IJIDB and EAJBM (16 each), and JAFEB (17): 94 articles in general business and 77 articles in economics. Conclusions - KODISA journals continuously revised and updated their publication standards and practices and adopted technological support systems to enable its journals to remain independent and open access in order to ultimately become one of the world's reputable journals.

본 연구는 시각장애인을 대상으로 한 음악 연구의 동향을 살펴보기 위해 1998년부터 2017년까지 국내 국제 학술지에 게재된 총 62편의 학술논문을 내용분석 하였다. 발표연대, 학술지 분야, 연구방법, 연구유형, 연구주제, 연령, 장애특성을 분석틀로 하였다. 연구결과, 최근 10년간 국내 외 모두 논문 편수가 급증하였으며, 교육학, 치료학 등 다양한 분야로 확대되는 경향을 보였다. 연구방법에서 국내는 조사연구가 압도적으로 많은 반면, 국외는 질적연구와 실험연구가 고르게 분포하였다. 연구유형과 주제를 살펴보면, 국내는 음악흥미와 적성을 주제로 한 인식 및 현황조사 연구가 다수였으나, 국외는 음악중재, 음악지각 및 인지를 주제로 한 음악의 영향과 경험 연구가 높은 빈도를 나타냈다. 연령은 국내 외 모두 성인과 아동청소년으로 조사되었고 노인 대상은 확인되지 않았다. 장애특성별 빈도에서 전맹, 저시력을 대상으로 한 연구가 많은 반면, 중도나 중복장애는 적었다. 이는 시각장애와 음악에 관한 연구 동향을 설명함으로써 해당 분야 후속연구의 방향을 제안한다는 의의를 갖는다.

이 연구는 2015년에 WoS와 Scopus의 문헌정보학 분야에서 동시에 등재된 학술지 2종과 그 자매지들, 그리고 국내 발간 국제학술지로 SCIE와 Scopus에 동시에 등재된 해양학 학술지 1종과 그 자매지 1종(Scopus 등재)의 2014년 및 2015년에 게재된 논문들과 이 논문들을 2016년에 인용한 논문들을 조사하였다. 이 연구는 WoS에 등재된 학술지와 이들 학술지의 자매지이지만 WoS에 등재되지 않은 학술지의 특성을 비교하여, WoS에 등재된 학술지의 특징을 파악해보고자 하였다. 이 연구의 분석 결과로 WoS의 등재지의 특징을 종합하여 살펴보면, 간행을 더 자주 하며, 논문위주로 발행하고, 다양한 국가의 저자에게 투고 받으며, 게재논문들이 더 많이 인용되는 것을 보면 논문의 품질이 더 좋다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 등재학술지가 비등재 자매지보다 공동연구의 논문을 게재하는 비율이 더 높았으며, 문헌정보학분야 학술지에서는 그 비율이 더 크게 나타났다. 이는 단독연구의 비율이 더 높은 국내발행 학술지가 국제색인 데이터베이스에 등재되고자 할 때 고려사항이 될 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구는 2000년부터 2019년까지 7종의 KCI 등재지에 게재된 3,114편의 수학교육 논문와 5종의 SSCI 등재지에 게재된 1,636편의 수학교육 논문의 연구 동향을 텍스트 마이닝 기술의 하나인 토픽모델링을 사용하여 비교·분석하였다. 연구 결과, 국내외 수학교육 연구는 16개의 유사한 주제와 7개의 상이한 주제로 분류할 수 있었다. 연구 결과, 예비교사와 관련된 주제는 국내와 해외 수학교육 연구에서 모두 높은 비중을 차지하고 있는 연구주제였다. 현직교사 재교육에 관한 연구주제는 국내 연구에서는 하나의 독립된 주제로 나타나지 않았지만, 해외 연구에서 많은 관심을 받는 주제로 나타났다. 해외 수학교육 연구에 비해 국내에서는 수학적 역량에 관한 연구의 관심이 높았지만, 이는 문제해결역량과 창의·융합역량에 치중되는 경향이 있었다. 반면, 해외 수학교육에서는 정체성과 공정성에 관한 연구가 강조되었다.

과학 기술 분야의 경우 국제적으로 영향력 있는 핵심 학술지는 인용색인인 SCIE를 통해 파악될 수 있다. SCIE에 등재된 학술지 8,300종 가운데 국내 학회나 연구소가 발행하는 학술지는 모두 82종으로 그 숫자는 많지 않다. 이 연구는 SCI의 등재 기준을 고찰하고, 이 기준에 비추어 이미 등재된 국내 학술지의 출판 현황에 관하여 상세히 분석하였다. 학회나 학술지의 웹사이트에서 데이터를 수집하여 분석한 결과, 국내 학술지는 대체로 인용이 활발하지 않았고, 국제성도 우수하지 않았으며, 웹사이트를 통한 이용자서비스도 미흡한 점이 많았다. 따라서 이미 등재된 학술지라 하더라도 이러한 점들을 계속 보완하여 국제 학술지로서의 위상을 높여야 하고, 등재를 시도하는 학술지는 우수한 논문의 확보, 해외 연구자와의 교류 증진, 국내외 홍보 강화 등에 보다 힘써야 할 것으로 보인다. 현재의 수준에서 벗어나 국제적으로도 인정받는 우수 학술지를 출판하기 위해서는 국가 차원에서 장단기 방안을 수립해 적극 실천하는 노력도 동반되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

본 연구에서는 계량학적 측정을 통하여 DIALOG 데이터베이스에 등재되는, 즉 국제적으로 서지정보가 배포되고 있는, 한국학술지의 규모와 그 학술지들이 등재되는 데이터베이스들의 특성을 분석하였다. 87종의 DIALOG 색인·초록 데이터베이스를 검색한 결과 1990년에서 1997년 사이에 논문이 1편 이상 수록된 한국학술지는 248종이며, 한국학술지 논문이 한편이라도 수록된 DIALOG 데이터베이스는 52종으로 밝혀졌다. 141종(56.9%)의 학술지는 1종의 데이터베이스에만 등재되어 있다. 국제적으로 많이 색인 또는 초록되는 한국학술지는 대부분 자연과학영역의 학술지, 그리고 영문학술지이다. DIALOG 색인·초록 데이터베이스가 한국학술지를 등재하는 정도는 어떤 학문영역의 데이터베이스이냐에 따라, 또한 데이터베이스의 학술지 선정방침(선택적 또는 포괄적)에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아직까지 한국학술지 논문들이 색인 초록을 통하여 국제적으로 알려질 수 있는 가능성, 즉 국제적 색인 초록 데이터베이스에 수록되는 정도는 아주 미약하다. 자연과학영역의 학술지는 양적으로 상당한 수준에 올라 있으나, 인문·사회과학영역의 한국학술지는 매우 취약한 수준이다.

Citation frequency is an important factor in evaluating journal quality and is used as a measure of journal impact. The citation index of a paper plays an important role in linking papers with groups of other academic papers, forming a huge and complex network. This study examines the intellectual structure of apparel research through the bibliometric citation analysis of The Research Journal of the Costume Culture (RJCC). In order to analyze the changes in the intellectual structure of the RJCC, we used the Korea Citation Index's (KCI) data (highly citing journals and highly cited journals). The NodeXL, a social network analysis tool, was used to examine the connection structure between journals. In order to identify the academic influence of the RJCC, we used the KCI journal citation index. Our findings indicate that the RJCC has a high centrality index among the clothing-oriented journals in the same life sciences field. A look at the journals citing the RJCC and the journals cited within the RJCC also showed that more journals of diverse fields have been recently linked through their citations. This suggests that a convergence of interdisciplinary research is underway in the field of clothing. As a result of examining international journals cited in the RJCC, it was confirmed that they were cited in prominent international journals in various fields.
