The design characteristics of interior environment have reflected the changes in our society. Social issues and the products of ultra-technological advancement will be reflected in housing as well. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors and describes trends which might influence interior environment in future apartment housing, and thereby, to develop an alternative future model for 'ㅆ' apparentement located in Sangdo-Dong based on the type of the size criteria.

Presenting desirable direction of Korean interior landscape, the present studies were performed to survey the status of interior landscape of the Korean traditional and modern house in order to compare each other about the landscaping characteristics. The results were as follows: 1. Interior landscape of traditional houses put emphasis on mental aspects through furnitures, decorative elements, symbolic signs, paintings, writings, and moderate plants. 2. Interior landscape of modern house accentuated visual beauty by using westernized furnitures and decorative elements, and exotic plants. 3. These days we abundantly use exotic interior plants, but we need to develop native plant materials which have visual values and are well grown. 4. It is suggested that we should make effects to find and develop Korean interior landscape style which succeed from traditional interior landscape that has more accentuated on mental aspect.

The purpose of study was to identify the interior design preference according to age gender and monthly income of subjects. Interior Image Preference Scale was used to measure Interior design preference of consumers. Data were collected from Oct. 10th 1997. to Nov. 13th 1997. The subjects were 609 adults living in Seoul. Frequency percentage mean Generalized Linear Models and Duncan's multiple range test were used for data analysis, The major results of this study were 1) the subjects generally preferred feminity complexity and modernity of interior design 2) this study revaled relative difference in interior design preference according age gender and monthly income.

By personally visiting a location, we have a much more complete and accurate feel and understanding of the interior design, then we can receive from pictures or descriptions. Because of this, in researching the history of interior design, it is impossible to experience the space in the design by not viewing it in persov. Instead, we must experience it indrectly through the use of descriptive language. Therefore it is important to deliver our meaning of the space in the interior design through clear and specific modern language rather than using classic language, which could be more confusing. In this study, the 7 most basic items of invariability among Bruno Zevi's modern language has been applied to describe the space in Wright's historical Prairie House. Thereupon, Wright's interior design concept and essential point is grasped through the analyzing of his space with modern language. Bruno Zevi's 7 items of invariability are suggested as an alternative which can deliver a clear and scientific meaning of interior desigv.

Modern interior design is expanding diversely, with the rapid development of technology and change of era. The basic of interior space that is rapidly changing consists of floor, wall and ceiling, and these are formed by materials, materials for structure or finishing materials. In the modern interior space, materials are utilized to present an atmosphere that meets the trend of the dissolution of post-modernism and the trend of minimalism. Accordingly, in this study, designers who take serious view on the relation of space and material, and the relation focusing on completed works, in modern interior design were investigated. The interrelation of the representation of each material, organic space, minimal space, and the space of Oriental fusion style were investigated through the works of modern interior designers, such as Karim Rashid and Ettore Sottsass.

Space is the essence and the most important concept of architecture, and therefore it has been granted critical meanings depending on the times. In space, exterior is regarded as an extension of interior, and architectural spaces vary according to how interior and exterior are combined meaningfully as well as how interior spaces are formed. In this study, the meaning of interior and exterior spaces in terms of perceiver's position and the characteristics of boundary factors is examined. And the perceptive factors and developing methods of interior and exterior spaces are then analyzed through positional relations of objects in space, and architectural boundary that defines spaces. The purpose of this study is to infer the relation of interior and exterior space composition in neo-modernism architecture, one of the current architectural trends.

The objective of commercial space design is not only to sell goods but also provide customer experience so called 'Experience marketing'. Therefore, companies are in search for various methods to give special customer experience and interior design is being considered as an important tool. For example, providing catharsis through commercial interior design, or bringing In the concept of hands-on exhibition into sales area relate to affirmative images of specific products or brands. Graphics in various methods has now become important interior design medium of expression. Therefore the study investigates graphical methods that appear in interior space such as objet, frame, optical illusion, moire and information transmission. It also analyzes their applications and roles in commercial spaces as major element in establishing spatial identity.

Interior Mapping은 효율적으로 그래픽 리소스를 최적화하는 방법들 중에 하나로 사용되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 보편화 된 게임엔진인 Unreal Engine 4를 활용하여 Interior Mapping을 적용했을 시 3D 게임 내의 성능 변화를 검증하기 위해 실제 모델링과 Interior Mapping의 렌더링 속도(FPS), 폴리곤 개수, 쉐이더 복잡도, 각각의 리소스 용량을 비교하였다. 또한, 효율적인 기술의 적용을 위해 큐브 맵 텍스처의 해상도와 세부 정보에 따른 성능 차이를 검증하였다.

The purpose of this research is to develop interior construction cost-estimating system at the early stage of the project. Though general construction estimates are typically in quantitative, interior construction should be in rather qualitative. Therefore, design-concerned cost-estimating methods should be developed to manage interior projects from the early statge. 30 estimates of VIP-Zone interior projects, were examined to develop the general type of composition and material classification. The cost has been classified by construction parts such as wall, ceiling, floor, and doors & windows and their treatments. The composition and material related estimating system (CMRES) was consisted of the unit average costs of classification and the variation coefficients. The CMRESS was verified by the case study, and the results sowed that the difference between the actual estimate and the CMRES was competitively confident.

Today the social concern about Interior Design gradually requires wide comprehension. Also according to demanders' requirement. Universities cope with speed. Interior Design made by experts for the function and purpose in the conception of decoration. Therefore, Universities we responsible to educate for more capable professional designers. But management is the first concern for Interior Design Company students are going to work at. Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with design alone. As architecture must get admittion, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. It is true that all the work of construction is Capenters' or technical engineers' work except space design. Of course students are interested in just design not in construction. Students majoring in design need wide understanding of construction not a concept design. but detailed design for construction and proper valuation ability to manage company. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.
