We investigate the relationships between right (resp. left) interior systems and right (resp. left) interior operators on complete generalized residuated lattices. We show that the set induced by a right (resp. left) interior operator is right (resp. left) join complete.

Many housing alternatives and design guidelines for the elderly have been suggested along with the rapid increase of old persons. However, most of them focused on the spatial composition and fixtures. They do not address on interior style which affects on interior mood. The interior style is especially important to the elderly who spend most of their time in indoor space, such as housing unit or nursing home. On the base of these backgrounds, the purpose of this study is to examine what interior style of bedroom and living room where the elderly lives are and whether they are significantly different depending on their cognitive ages, or not. The subject were 202 old persons who lived in Busan. Their ages were more than 65 years. They were interviewed by using 3D images of bedroom and living room. Each one consisted of three interior styles; Korean traditional style, Western classical style, and modern style. The results were as followings; The interior style of bedroom and living room which the old persons lived were different depending on the elderly's cognitive ages. The younger the old persons' cognitive ages were, they lived in bedroom or living room of modern style. Also, the older their cognitive ages were, they lived in bedroom or living room of Korean traditional style. These results show that the cognitive age of the old persons affect the characteristics of interior design which they live. Also, it implies that the elderly are not one homogeneous group, but a heterogeneous one.

There are the relevant provisions that apply to building regulations about the Building codes, Fire Protection laws, and more Multi-using interior finish materials businesses etc. The differences between these regulations are as follows: The Building codes is defined the main use of the building according to facilities to used to set the scale by the use of the floor space, On the other hand, Fire Protection laws are the basic purpose and the act of using the architectural space(or sales) by separating object by fire. And Multiple-using Businesses Facilities consist of two regulations engaged in the kind of law and the size of the floor area. One building can not be based on operating facilities and together in Multiple use businesses Law. As such, the Buildings are applied to the Building codes, Fire Protection laws, such as Multi-using Businesses Facilities interior construction industry due to the structural differences in the position of the designer feeling a lot of difficulties and confusion. The Multi-use businesses Facilities engage in the kind of law, the size of the floor area and seating capacity. These can not be based on operating facilities, and consists of two regulations together in one building. This study is purposed to help improving the finish of the interior architecture that is related to the Building code regulations, Fire Protection laws, Multi-using Facilities interior finishing material relevant with the provisions from the law through analyze the case of developed countries, and the current Multiple use Businesses Facilities research range from the law of multiple-using facilities, interior finishing, interior architecture for supervision reasonably and compensation for the interior design. So, Result is as follows: First, interior decorations can be separated the fixed material and the moveable things. second, It should be included multi-using Business though small size business space at the basement floor. third, It should be established statute law that design and construction responsibility. forth, re-testing fire resist performance after some period. and finally, it need to mitigate regulation where be installed sprinkler.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of interior landscape that influence preference at a department store in order to answer the research question; What are the effective factors of interior landscape that affect preference at a department store. After review of the effect of interior landscape, and the interior landscape at a department store, we constructed a literature framework and have formulated the hypothesis of this research. We have analyzed the data which surveyed 108 visitors about the interior landscape in a department store, using factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, and the multiple linear regression method. We found that; 1) eleven variables can be selected for the effects of interior landscape at department store: accessibility, image, stay, distinction, comfort, complexity, cleanness, mystery, purification of atmosphere, noise and harmony. Among the 11 independent variables used to study the effect of interior landscape at a department store, the image and purification of atmosphere highly affect preference. 2) These 11 variables are grouped by factor analysis as effects of amenity, attractiveness and identity. 3) As a result of multiple regression analysis, independent variables influencing preference were proved statistically significant at one percent level. 4) Regarding their relative contribution of interior landscape effect at a department store, the effects of amenity was the most important and it showed a level of importance 1.4 times higher than the effect of identity, and 1.25 times higher than the effect of attractiveness. The research results suggest the need for guidelines for the creation of interior landscape at department stores. The approach and analysis method adopted by this research is highly useful for the evaluation of interior landscape criteria at a department store. It is recommended that more practical study on factors affecting user's preference be performed in the future.

The purpose of this research is to empirically validate the IIPS (Interior Image Preference Scale) which is a newly developed visual instrument for evaluating the environmental disposition inherent to individuals especially one's interior image preferences. The questionnaire survey was used. The data were collected from Oct. 10th 1997 to Nov. 14th 1997. The subjects were 399 undergraduate students and 30 professor of Dep. of Interior Design. With respect to content validity and construct validity of IIPS discrimination and similarity structure of scales and characteristics of 12 prototype interior images were examined in comparison with the originals. 429 questionnaires were analyzed using frequency percentage mean and Multi-Dimensional Scales. The major results were as follows (1) All 80 items of IIPS were discriminated by 3 criteria such as Traditionalism·Modernity(TM) Masculinity·Femininty (MF) and Simplicity·Complexity (SC) as expected at the time of the instrument development stage.(2) 12 prototype interior images of the IIPS showed tendency to be accord with descriptors to express them in comparison with the originals (3) All 90 items of IIPS showed a cluster distribution according to the similarity structure of scales. Three subscales of IIPS(e . g. TM MF and SC) were structured pretty well by those 3 dimensions. This research revealed the IIPS to have content validity and construct validity for evaluating of preference of three properties of interior image in empirical research. The IIPS was found to be potential objective tool to measure the interior image preferences.

With the rise of the economic level and the improvement of the standard of living the size of the interior work is becoming large and specialized, With the recent opening of the domestic interior decoration market the order of the large-scale interior decoration work is actively received and its efficient construction is vigorously made. Accordingly reliability is required in keeping with all the accuracy of computing interior construction expenses systematically is importantly emerging. The estimation sheet written in a kind of process mode and in an area made as the construction expense breakdown mode were statistically treated and analyzed as well as quantity computation breakdown data. In determing the major factors that expert an influence on the factors of changes in construction expenses as well as the compositional ratio of construction work that becomes basic material for developing the cost model of interior decoration work the following conclusion could be made: Improvement should be made to suit the present situation by synthesizing and arranging the data practically used in current interior construction expenses. Required construction expenses for the kind of work common to each construction field are showing a given proportion and the required construction expenses of rather small scale interior construction work tend to be irregular. It is necessary to compute optimal construction expenses by calculating the optimal period of work and working personnel in consideration of the influential factor in each work.

Over the course of time, changes occur in family composition and members, and such changes impact housing life as well. In contrast to shared housing structures such as apartments, detached houses show a greater variety of changes to interior spaces such as family composition, rural area, natural environment, and modernization. The purpose of this study is to examine the change and factors in interior spaces in detached houses of rural area. Out of 40 houses studied in a 1995 survey, 23 showed changes when studied again in 2015, and 13 were selected for final analysis. This study indicated that at the time of the survey in 1995, two aspects of change occurred which showed in interior space only and internalization through interior-specific additions and improvements. An analysis of interior changes demonstrated there was significant change in kitchens, multipurpose rooms, and other spaces focused on housework and homemaking. Internalization through interior-specific is showed in balcony. As family member is increasing, it is intended to be increasing size of interior space; however, it is showed to increase size of interior space in the step that family member is reducing. It is reason that more spaces are needed when their children whose the old are living in detached houses of rural area are visited.

Including interior architecture, diverse fields of study for eco-friendly environment is in progress due to the world's crisis consciousness of global environment. And nevertheless, practical use of the research results are still low and systematical problems of the studies are inevitable reality. Thus, this study focused on to the enbodiment of green interior architecture study understanding the problems of precedence studies to make suggestion for the future direction and balancing green interior architecture study seeking for better motivation. Analysing results of the precedent studies indicates that the existing studies loss its diversity and concentrated in the narrow based directions. For the enbodiment of green interior architecture, not simply immerse existing planning method found from case study, the study need to perform in overall areas of green interior architecture and diversify its direction. Besides space designer, user's consciousness are also important results to form a new paradigm of eco-friendly environment. For the applications and use of the study results as the design factor in green interior architecture, first and the most important stept is to innovate attitude towards the nature and shift of consciousness through education as well as the relative studies of design and planning realm to drive both technical, and non-technical design factors are highly demanded.

Interior design, evolved from interior decoration of the 20th century, is one of environmental designs which contribute to the overall well-being of human life-physically, psychologi-cally, and emotionally. Moreover, it is also a complex and multi-faceted profession that requires a strong understanding of not only human behaviors and the impact of the designed environment on them, but also of changing technologies and their potential effects. Furthermore, design is a participatory process which requires the application of research, and theoretical knowledge to resolve issues addressing the society. Indeed, there has been various kinds of researches in the interior design field that came about. Through scrutinization of master's theses and doctoral dissertations, this study intends us to grasp the current trend of interior design researches. Theses and dissertations related to interior design and architecture were and sources for this study. The subject of the analysis for this study was limited to the 560 titles of such like these, published from 1970 to 1996 by gradute schools related to interior design or architecture. The results were as follows : Since the '80s, there had been active researches on the interior design field. The subject space had extensively been expanded in its area, especially in the case of commercial environment. The content of those researches had focused on space design with the intention of applying the results to hypothetical one.

The purpose of this study is to figure out the profiles of eco-friendly finishing materials and intoner products through content analysis on the advertisements of three domestic interior design magazines, which have been published for 4 years since 2002. The amount of advertisements has been continuously increasing due to the public concerns on well-being. Finishing material types absolutely took the greatest proportion (92.8%), while products such as furniture and household equipments were only 7.2% among the advertisements. Charcoal, natural jade, yellow soil and nano-silver were the frequently mentioned health-related components in the finishing material. Only 35.7% of the finishing materials hold certification on indoor air quality. Among the interior products, phytonchid in air cleaner was the only advertised component related to health. In conclusion, controlling pollutants of indoor air quality, such as HCHO, VOC, seems to be the big issue in both materials and products due to the concern of Sick Building Syndrome. However, more scientific and objective guidelines are necessary for consumers to live in healthy interior environment.
