실시간 운영체제에서 iRTOS에서의 CVM GUI 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of GUI in CVM on Real-Time Operating System, iRTOS)

  • 셋탑박스나 스마트폰과 같은 임베디드 장비는 GUI(Graphical User Interface)기능 제공 및 플랫폼 독립성(Platform Independance) 유지를 위해 자바 환경을 사용한다. 이러한 장비에 자바 환경을 적용하기 위해 SUN에서 제공하는 임베디드용 자바가상머신의 하나인 CVM(Classic Virtual Machine)을 탑재하여 사용하게 된다. 자바의 GUI를 제공하기 위해서는 CVM에 포함된 PBP(Personal Basis Profile)에서 명세하고 있는 GUI표준 API를 사용해야 한다. GUI 표준 API를 구현 할때에 자바의 네이티브 메서드와 운영체제의 네이티브 함수간에 상호 연동이 될 수 있도록 JNI(Java Native Interface)를 사용하여 구현한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제 iRTOS를 기반으로 CVM GUI를 구현하기 위해 그래픽 원도우 시스템과 GUI 표준 API와의 상호 연동을 하는 네이티브 함수와 각종 이벤트 처리에 대해 설계 및 구현한 내용을 기술한다.

자동차 클러스터의 감시 및 제어를 위한 모델기반설계 기법 연구 (Study on a Model-based Design Technique for Monitoring and Control of a Vehicle Cluster)

  • 본 연구는 모델기반설계 기법을 이용하여 자동차 클러스터의 감시 및 제어를 하는 스테이션을 설계한다. 설계 도구로 매트랩 GUI(Graphic User Interface), M 프로그램, 시뮬링크(simulink), 스테이트 플로우(state flow), 툴박스(tool box)를 사용하여 실제 자동차 클러스터 시스템과 연동하여 자동차에서 들어오는 경고, 인터럽트 등의 각종 정보 등을 감시한다. 감시 수단으로는 PC(Personal Computer) 스테이션을 사용하여 자동차 클러스터 설계 시 툴 박스의 인터페이스 명령함수가 실제 자동차 클러스터 시스템과 연동하게 한다. 따라서, 기존의 텍스트 방식과 달리 모델기반설계로 개발된 자동차 클러스터 시스템은 각 기능 및 알고리즘을 블록과 상태플로우로 프로그램에 따라 작성하기 때문에 알고리즘의 수정이나 기능 추가가 용이하며, 또한, PC를 통해 모니터 상에서 동작 알고리즘을 검증하기 때문에 클러스터의 개발과 수정에 따른 많은 시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있는 효과를 준다.

  • As the evaluation of loading characteristic on tilting mechanism is the most important one of the function test of tilting mechanism, the changing characteristic of load must be investigated on tilting of carbody for both the static and running condition of train. In this study, we reduced the load of tilting mechanism by adjusting the interface of carbody and bogie such as the weight balance, level of underframe, height of leveling valve, height of axle box and center position of tilting actuator with the characteristic curve of load for optimal condition of the tilting mechanism obtained in the previous study. Furthermore, the factor and effect of the interfacial structures respecting the load of tilting mechanism was evaluated by analyzing the changing characteristic of load obtained in the process of adjustment of interfaces. From these data, we will propose the maintenance standards for interfacial structures and tilting mechanism in order to minimize the load of tilting mechanism by analyzing in detail the characteristic of load for the main factors of the interfacial structure effecting on the load of tilting mechanism.

이 기종 시스템간의 CAD 데이터 교환 (CAD Data Exchange among Different Commercial Packages)

  • This research was about implementing STEP for data exchange among different commercial package(CAD system). STEP was used to share CAD data as follows. ST-Developer implement Solid model was used with a physical file of STEP and represented in a CAD system. And then STEP conversion utility was used to make a neutrality format form in a component modeling. Analysis of Solid model was made possible for CAD system to read in and analyzed Solid model. This research are summarized as follows 1. A basis Model development used Visual C++ for a neutrality data of a programming interface general-use CAD system, and produced Box and Cylinder to a physical file, the result was implemented this in a programming interface to general-use CAD system, it is represented in CAD system as identical one modeling object. 2. STEP was used in different CAD system to utilize to its of each CAD system maximum, CATIA V5R9 user was able to analyze MDT 6 Modeling Arm. 3. STEP was used able to interpret and remodel the existing Solid model.

  • 오늘날 우리사회는 기술의 발달과 더불어 인간의 지식과 축적, 그리고 전달 등의 수단으로 정보의 확대, 다양화가 계속되고 있다. 그러나 많은 정보는 블랙박스 화되어 우리가 정보를 이용하고자 하는 시점에서 많은 어려움이 뒤따르고 있다. 특히 기기의 조작에 있어서 기존 대부분의 기기 들은 정보의 이용이란 측면을 소홀히 다루었다는 점과, 제품 등에 있어서 시각정보에 너무 의존하여 LCD나 모니터 화면이 한정되어 시각정보전달을 위한 탑재기능의 한계성과 제품의 소형화가 유져(User)로 하여금 부담을 갖게 하는 원인이 되고 있다. 이로 인하여 청각정보이용에 대하여 수요도 높아져 지원환경에도 새로운 제안이 기대되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 제품의 조작과정에서 청각정보가 유져 인터페이스를 지원하고 있는 범위를 고찰하고 또한 시각정보(그래픽 컬 유져 인터페이스)와 비교 검토하여 궁극적으로 청각정보의 리 액티브 인터페이스를 획득하고자 한다.

열적으로 강인한 Molybdenium 게이트-PMOS Capacitor의 분석 (Analysis of PMOS Capacitor with Thermally Robust Molybdenium Gate)

  • In this paper, we report the properties of Mo metal employed as PMOS gate electrode. Mo on $SiO_2$ was observed to be stable up to $900^{\circ}C$ by analyzing the Interface with XRD. C-V measurement was performed on the fabricated MOS capacitor with Mo Bate on $SiO_2$. The stability of EOT and work-function was verified by comparing the C-V curves measured before and after annealing at 600, 700, 800, and $900^{\circ}C$. C-V hysteresis curve was performed to identify the effect of fired charge. Gate-injection and substrate-injection of carrier were performed to study the characteristics of $Mo-SiO_2$ and $SiO_2-Si$ interface. Sheet resistance of Mo metal gate obtained from 4-point probe was less than $10\;\Omega\Box$ that was much lower than that of polysilicon.

  • UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) has become one of the most popularmilitary/commercial aerial robots in the new millennium. In spite of all theadvantages that UAVs inherently have, it is not an easv job to develop a UAVbecause it requires very systematic and complete approaches in full developmentenvelop. The ground test and evaluation phase has the utmost importance in thesense that a well-developed system can be best verified on the ground. In addition,many of the aircraft crashes in the flight tests were resulted from the incompletedevelopment procedure. In this research, a verification procedure of the wholeairbome integrated system was conducted including the flight management system.An airbome flight control computer(FCC) senses the extemal environment from thepehpheral devices and sends the control signal to the actuating system using theassigned control logic and flight test strategy. A ground test station controls themission during the test while the downlink data are transferred from the flightmanagement computer using the serial communication interface. The pilot controlbox also applies additional manual actuating commands. The whole system wastested/verified on the wind-tunnel system, which gave a good pitch controlperformance with a preUspecified flight test procedure. The ground test systemguarantees the performance of fundamental functions of airbome electronic systemfor the future flight tests.

  • Insulation performance of major components of prefabricated joint such as epoxy insulation unit and premolded rubber cone are guaranteed by material selection design and proper manufacturing. On the other hand insulation performance of the interfaces between the premolded rubber cone and the epoxy insulation unit and the cable insulation is maintained by keeping the premolded rubber cone to close contact with such insulation by spring. Electric characteristics of a interface depend on the contact pressure, but the required characteristics are assured so far as a proper contact pressure is maintained. In this report, the interfacial pressure by pressure sensors both in the early stage and after heating cycle were measured and the simulation by FEM program were presented. The comparison of these two results show that interfacial pressure could be controlled optimally by changing the spring length and lubricant state of the interface.

Numerical study of performance of soil-steel bridge during soil backfilling

  • This paper presents results of a numerical analysis performed on a corrugated steel plate (CSP) bridge during a backfilling process. The analysed bridge structure was a box culvert having a span of 12315 mm as well as a clear height of 3550 mm. Obtained calculation results were compared with the experimental ones. The paper is presented with the application of the Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC) program based on the finite differences method (FDM) to determine behaviour of the soil-steel bridge structure during backfilling. The assumptions of a computational 2D model of soil-steel structure with a non-linear interface layer are described. Parametric analysis of the interface element is also given in order to receive the most realistic calculation results. The method based on this computational model may be used with large success to design calculations of this specific type of structure instead of the conventional and fairly inaccurate analytical methods. The conclusions drawn from such analysis can be helpful mostly for the assessment of the behaviour of steel-soil bridge structures under loads of backfilling. In consideration of an even more frequent application of this type of structure, conclusions from the conducted analysis can be generalized to a whole class of similar structural bridge solutions.

Discovery Layer in Library Retrieval: VuFind as an Open Source Service for Academic Libraries in Developing Countries

  • This paper provides an overview of the emergence of resource discovery systems and services, along with their advantages, best practices, and current landscapes. It outlines some of the key services and functionalities of a comprehensive discovery model suitable for academic libraries in developing countries. The proposed model (VuFind as a discovery tool) performs like other existing web-scale resource discovery systems, both commercial and open-source, and is capable of providing information resources from different sources in a single-window search interface. The objective of the paper is to provide seamless access to globally distributed subscribed as well as open access resources through its discovery interface, based on a unified index. This model uses Koha, DSpace, and Greenstone as back-ends and VuFind as a discovery layer in the front-end and has also integrated many enhanced search features like Bento-box search, Geodetic search, and full-text search (using Apache Tika). The goal of this paper is to provide the academic community with a one-stop shop for better utilising and integrating heterogeneous bibliographic data sources with VuFind (https://vufind.org/vufind).
