간호대학생의 아동학대 지식, 태도, 지각된 행위통제력과 아동학대 사례별 신고의도 (Nursing Students' Knowledge, Attitudes, Perceived Behavior Control and Intention to Report Cases of Child Abuse)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to explore nursing students' knowledge, attitudes and intention to report cases of child abuse. Methods: A descriptive research design was used with a convenience sample of 202 nursing students. After explaining the purpose of the study, participants who signed the consent form were asked to complete a self-descriptive questionnaire, which included the Child Abuse Intension Scale (CARIS). Results: The number of correct answers for knowledge of child abuse and the law was 7.0 /13. The mean scores were, for attitude toward childrearing belief and discipline, $17.1{\pm}5.2$, for punishment and culpability of offender or victim, $24.6{\pm}4.1$, for professional responsibility, $30.5{\pm}5.1$, and for perceived behavioral control, $25.3{\pm}5.0$. The intended reporting behavior differed significantly by severity of abuse. Factors influencing the intention to report child abuse were attitude towards punishment of parents, professional responsibility, and perceived behavioral control ($R^2$=.133). Conclusion: On the basis of our finding, developing education programs to help nursing students detect child abuse and improve reporting rates is important. Thus, we suggests that nursing students be provided with educational protocol for detection and reporting of child abuse.

여성노인의 노인학대 인식과 신고의향 (Perception and Reporting intention to Elder Abuse among Elderly Women)

  • 본 연구는 여성노인을 대상으로 하여 노인학대 인식과 신고의향을 파악하고 그 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 자료수집은 D시에 거주하는 2개의 경로당, 2개의 성당, 2개의 불교대학, 2개의 스포츠 센터와 1개의 노인복지관에서 만 60세 이상의 여성 노인 160명을 대상으로 2013년 5월 13일부터 6월 6일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 대상자의 노인학대 인식정도는 2.89점으로 성적 학대(4.26점)가 가장 높았고, 노인학대 신고의향은 38.2%로 성적 학대(79.4%)가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 대상자의 특성에 따른 노인학대 인식정도는 모두 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 대상자의 특성에 따른 노인학대 신고의향은 교육수준, 결혼상태, 자녀수, 동거형태, 학대 관련 노인복지법 인식, 노인학대 관련 정보접촉에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 노인학대 인식과 신고의향의 상관관계는 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 이를 기초로 하여 학대에 취약한 여성노인의 학대인식과 신고의향을 고취시키고, 학대상황 발생 시 보다 적극적으로 대처할 수 있도록 학대예방연구에 단초를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

응급실 간호사의 아동학대 신고의도 (Intention to Report Child Abuse of Emergency Room Nurse)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to examine a attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, intention to report child abuse and to identify predictors of emergency room (ER) nurses' intention to report child abuse cases. Methods: A total of 364 nurses in ER participated in this study. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test or ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: 84.1 % of emergency room nurses reported feeling of obligation to report child abuse. Attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control were positively correlated with intention to report child abuse. Intention to report child abuse was predicted by emergency room nurse's attitude, perceived behavior control, subjective norm, ER nurse career, and recognition as a reporting obligator. Conclusion: Child abuse education program should be developed to help ER nurses to report child abuse case and positive attitude toward reporting the cases.

병원 간호사의 사건보고 불이행 경험여부에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Study on Factors Affecting Nurses' Experience of Non-Reporting Incidents)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify the factors affecting the nurses' experience of non-reporting adverse incidents in hospital. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional, descriptive survey design and nonrandom, convenience sampling. Study subjects were 392 clinical nurses, who have agreed to be the subject of this research. The measuring instrument of attitudes toward incident reporting was developed by the authors. The questionnaire which consisted of 17 items about worry about appraisal, the belief in improvement, the intention of reporting, and knowledge was measured by 5-point Likert-type scale. The estimate of internal consistency was alpha =.84. Analysis of data was done with use of mean, t-test, ANOVA, logistic regression with SPSS program. Results: Clinical nurses had experience of reporting incident (51.3%), non-reporting incident (76.5%). Statistically, significant differences were found between experiences group and non experience group in intention on reporting, belief on improvement, and worry about appraisal. Logistic regression analysis showed that the significant predictors were caused by report no-fault cases, belief on improvement, worry about appraisal. Conclusion: The result also indicated that, to improve the incident reporting and risk management, it might be necessary to give a belief that it results on improvement and remove concern about punishment through construction of no-blame system.

간호사의 사건보고와 안전분위기 인지에 대한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study of Nurses' Incident Reporting and Perceived Safety Climate)

  • 본 연구는 간호사의 사건보고태도, 사건보고지식 및 안전분위기 인지수준을 파악하고 간호사가 인지하는 안전분위기에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위함이다. 간호사 240명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집하였으며 분석은 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson상관계수 및 다중회귀분석으로 하였다. 5점 척도에서 간호사의 사건보고태도는 3.34, 사건보고지식 3.05, 안전분위기 인지는 3.25로 나타났다. 사건보고태도는 사건보고지식, 안전분위기와 양적상관관계가 있었으며(r=.33, p<.001; r=.38, p<.001) 사건보고지식도 안전분위기와 유의한 양적 상관관계를 나타내었다(r=.32, p<.001). 안전분위기에 영향을 미치는 요인은 사건보고지식과 사건보고태도 하위영역 중 개선효과에 대한 신념과 보고의도였으며 이들 요인은 안전분위기 인지수준의 24.7%를 설명하였다(F=12.22, p<.001). 그러므로 사건보고에 대한 교육과 긍정적 태도를 증진시켜 안전분위기를 조성하는 것은 안전사고 예방중재로 적용가능하며 환자안전을 위한 강화된 실무전략개발로 확대되어야 할 것이다.

예비유아교사의 공감능력이 교직윤리, 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Pre-Service Early Childhood Teacher's Empathic ability on Teaching Ethics, Child Abuse Reporting Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사의 공감능력이 교직윤리 및 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 연구대상은 중소도시 I시 유아교육과 재학생 2학년과 3학년 학생으로 총 168명이다. 연구 검사도구는 예비유아교사의 공감능력, 교직윤리 및 아동학대 신고의무에 관한 설문지를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구대상의 pearson의 적률상관관계를 분석하고, 예비유아교사의 공감능력이 교직윤리와 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향력을 알아보기 위해 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 예비유아교사의 공감능력과 교직윤리 전체와 관계가 있었다. 인지적 공감능력의 하위요인인 관점취하기와 상상하기는 교직윤리 전체와 정적상관이 나타났으며, 특히 공감적 관심과 정적인 관계가 나타났다. 인지적 공감은 영유아에 대한 윤리와 가장 높은 상관이 있었고, 정서적 공감은 사회에 대한 윤리와 정적상관이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 교직윤리에 미치는 공감능력의 하위요인은 관점취하기가 가장 높은 영향력을 지니고, 그 다음으로 상상하기가 영향을 미치고, 마지막으로 공감적 관심이 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사의 교직윤리 및 아동학대 신고의도 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발 시 인지적 공감능력의 하위요인인 관점취하기와 상상하기와 관련된 공감의 내용을 반드시 포함해야 할 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 유아교육 현장에서 예비유아교사의 교직윤리 및 아동학대 신고의 증진에 대한 중요성을 인식시키는 계기가 되고 교직윤리와 아동학대 신고의도에 영향을 미치는 공감능력에 대한 인식을 제고하게 하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

관상동맥질환자의 금연의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Predictors of Intention to Quit Smoking among Patient with Coronary Heart Disease)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the level of intention to quit smoking and to identify factors influencing intention to quit among patients with coronary heart disease. Method: The subjects consisted of 80 male patients with coronary heart disease (angina pectoris, myocardial infarction) at three hospitals in Seoul. The data were collected with self reporting in a structured questionnaire. Stepwise multiple regression was used to identify predictors of intention to quit. Included variables were attitudes toward smoking cessation, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, usefulness of smoking cessation, and previous attempts to quit. Result: 1. The mean score for intention to quit was 11.1($\pm$6.1) which was lower than median score of the scale. 2. There were significant correlations between the all predictive variables and the intention to quit(r=.24-.48, p<.05). 3. usefulness of smoking cessation, perceived behavioral control, and previous attempts to quit explained 34.6% of the variance for intention to quit. Conclusion: usefulness of smoking cessation, perceived behavioral control, and previous attempts to quit were identified as important variables in explaining the intention to quit smoking among patients with coronary heart disease. Thus, it is necessary to try to enhance this factors for increasing intention to quit among patients with coronary heart disease.

The Impact of Ethical Leadership on Employees Turnover Intention: An Empirical Study of the Banking Sector in Malaysia

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of ethical leadership in determining the organizations' individual-type ethical climate (self-interest, friendship, and personal morality ethical climate) in reducing employee turnover intention. It seeks to identify the role of individual-type climate in mediating the association between ethical leadership and employee turnover intention. Moreover, the moderation effect of emotional exhaustion among employees on the relationship between ethical leadership and turnover intention has been researched to establish the ethical degree of leadership. Using a sample of 260 questionnaires from employees working full-time in the banking sector, the results were analyzed in PLS-SEM. The results of the social exchange theory indicated that ethical leadership is vital in shaping the workplace's individual-type ethical climate and reducing employees' turnover intention. The findings demonstrate that the relationship between ethical leadership and turnover intention is mediated by an individual-type ethical climate, which means that employees in a positive ethical climate do not wish to leave immediately. Furthermore, emotional exhaustion was found to moderate the association between ethical leadership and employees' turnover intention under high emotional exhaustion, where low ethical leadership is experienced, reporting higher levels of turnover intention.

사회복지시설 간호사의 직무만족 및 조직몰입이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on Nurse's Turnover Intention in the Social welfare Facilities)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on the nurse's turnover intention working in the social welfare facilities. Methods: The subjects of this study were 319 nurses who were working in the 238 social welfare facilities. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: It was found that the key predictor of turnover intention was organizational commitment Organizational commitment explained 41.2% of the total variance of turnover intention. In case of sub categories of job satisfaction, organizational commitment had 37.2% prediction and then payment and supervision added 6.2% prediction. Conclusion: These results suggest that the key predict factor of nurse's turnover intention working in social welfare facilities is organizational commitment. Therefore, the findings of this study can be used to develop effective strategies to decrease nurse's turnover intention.

일 지역 지방중소병원 간호사의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 예측요인 (Predictive Factors Influencing Turnover Intention of Nurses in Small and Medium-Sized Hospitals in Daegu City)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the factors influencing turnover intention of nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals. Method: The participants in this descriptive survey on causal relations were 192 nurses who were working at small and medium-sized hospitals in Daegu city. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires and analysed by the SPSS Win 14.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Result: The mean for job characteristics scores were 2.90, the job satisfaction scores were 3.00, the organizational commitment scores were 3.00, job stress scores were 2.42, the turnover intentions scores were 3.08. Turnover intention according to general features were shown as following; age, marital status, clinical career, work schedule type, frequency of night duty. The relationship between turnover intention and job stress had positive correlation. But the relationship between turnover and other factors that job satisfaction, organizational commitment had negative correlation. The causal factors of turnover intention were organizational commitment, job satisfaction, job stress, and job characteristics, frequency of night duty. $R^=.39$. The organizational commitment were the highest significant predictors of turnover intention. Conclusions: The findings of study suggest that broad intention program should be provided to prevent problems of turnover.
