  • This paper discusses the strategic concepts applied to integrated delivery system(IDS). IDS is rooted in vertical integration(VI) and strategic alliance(SA), but only few knows about the theoretical backbone of the IDS. The paper explains how VI and SA applies to IDS, then provides cases of IDS rooted in strategic concepts; Kaiser Permanante Model, Mayo Clinic Model, and ACO(Accountable Care Organizations). Finally the paper provides the implication of IDS on Korean healthcare delivery system.

  • New information technology contributes to raising of business productivity in many construction companies. The application of construction integrated management system is expected to save the time of decision-making in business management and shorten the closing account schedule. Construction Integrated Management System based on ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system allows to control core business procedure by monitoring technique on real-time. In this paper, we achieves 10% raise up business productivity in site business area, and 30% raise up business productivity in head of nce business area by means of DW-CIMS (Daewoo Construction Integrated Management System)

최적 금형연마 가공을 위한 센서 정보 통합 전문가 시스템 개발 (Development of a Sensor Information Integrated Expert System for Optimizing Die Polishing)

  • This paper presents a polishing expert system integrated with sensor information which can modify the polishing sequence and conditions initially determined by the system depending on the on-site polishing status. A practical system using AE sensor to detect the on-line polishing status is developed for the rotational polishing and the smoothly curved sur-face. Database and knowledge base for polishing processes are established by using the results of experiments and also expert's experience. Evaluations are performed for a die of headlight lamp by using both the sensor integrated expert sys-tem and the expert system without sensor. The test results show that the sensor integrated expert system provides more optimal polishing conditions since the proposed system takes advantage of on-line sensor information.

  • In this paper, 5.8GHz 25W microwave wireless power transmission system was developed. The transmission system is composed of a signal generator, a 1W drive amplifier, a 25W power amplifier, and a circularly polarized transmission antenna. The receiving system was fabricated with an integrated receiver that combines a circularly polarized receiving antenna, a pass band filter, and an RF-DC converter. And a multi-integrated receiver had twelve parts, including an integrated receiver. Under the conditions, voltage and current were measured for the system at 5cm intervals from a minimum distance of 5cm to a maximum distance of 80cm. The power was calculated for the system. The results of the system are shown in tables and graphs. The power decreases with distance, but the power does not drop sharply due to a multi-integrated receiver.

  • Generally, the integrated system using ion beam consists of 4 major parts, which are SEM, FIB, nano stage, and chamber. Among them, the nano stage and the chamber are designed and manufactured. The whole systems are integrated. Also, FE models are built to perform modal analyses of each part and the whole integrated system with a commercial program. Through these analyses, it is found that each part and the integrated system are very safe against vibrations including external excitations from ground and any others, because their natural frequencies are much larger than frequencies of external excitations. Also, isolation of ground induced vibration is considered.

  • This paper proposes a vision/DR integrated navigation system using distance between wheels of the vehicle and a gyroscope. In order to show the validity of the proposed vision/DR integrated navigation system, experiments were performed for a trajectory of a mobile robot. Experimental results show that the proposed vision/DR integrated navigation system gives better navigation performance than a vision/DR integrated navigation system using only distance between wheels of the vehicle.

  • The errors of INS (Inertial Navigation System) are known to grow in time. To compensate the accumulated errors, measurements of external or onboard sensors are extensively utilized to form an integrated navigation system. Recently, INS/GPS integrated navigation systems have become popular since exact position and velocity information can be utilized by low cost GPS receivers. Unfortunately, this configuration cannot be trusted at all times especially when there are intentional or unexpected jammings and interruptions. To aid INS irrespectively of these cases, an INS/Image sensor integrated navigation system configuration is designed only based on the information of image sensor gimble angles. The performance of the INS/Image sensor integrated navigation system is evaluated by Monte Carlo simulation.

  • Temperature adaptability is an important metric for evaluating the performance of an optical system. The temperature characteristics of the optical system are closely related to the material and shape of its lens. In this paper, we establish a mathematical model relating the temperature characteristics to the shape and material of the lens. Then a novel assembly structure that can solve the lens constraint and positioning problem is proposed. From those basics, the correctness of the theoretical model and the effectiveness of the assembly structure are verified through simulated analysis of the imaging quality of the optical system, whose operating temperature range is $-60{\sim}100^{\circ}C$.

  • An integrated Robot control system for SCARA robot is developed. The system consists of an off-line programming(OLP), software and a robot controller using four digital signal processor(TMS32OC50). The OLP has functions of teaching task, dynamic simulator, three dimensional animation, and trajectory planning. To develop robust dynamic control algorithm, a new sliding mode control algorithm for the robot is proposed. The trajectory tracking performance of these algorithm is evaluated by implementing to SCARA robot(SM5 type) using DSP controller which has conventional PI-FF control algorithm. To make SCARA robot operate according to off-line teaching, an interface between OLP and robot controller in the integrated system is designed. To demonstrate performance of the integrated system, the proposed control algorithm is applied to the system.
