유무선 통신 시스템의 구축에서 셀룰러 네트워크와 지능망을 분리시키는 것은 일반적으로 이동 통신 관련 서비스를 제공하는데 적합하지 않으므로 IMT-2000은 기본적으로 지능망을 통하여 구현된다. 그러나 아직까지 IMT-2000의 기능 구현에 필요한 각 기능 실체들이 실제로 물리실체에 어떻게 대응이 이루어져야 하는지는 결정되지 않고 있다. 따라서 이 논문은 IMT-200에 필요한 각 기능 실체들을 물리 실체에 대응하는 방안과 이러한 대응에 따른 통합 모델을 제시하고 이 모델에서 일반 이동망호와 지능망 서비스호에 대한 호 처리 시나리오를 제시하고자 한다. 또한 이러한 호 처리 시나리오에 의하여 제공되는 이동망 호와 지능망 서비스 호에 대한 평균 서비스 지연 시간과 각 노드별 지연 시간을 측정하여, 기존의 IMT-2000 모델과 성능을 비교하도록 한다.

Scholars are paying increasingly close attention to brain research and the creation of biological neural networks, artificial neural networks, artificial intelligence, neurochips, brain-computer interfaces, prostheses, new research instruments and methods, methods of treatment, as well as the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases based on these data. The authors of the study propose their hypothesis on the understanding of the phenomenon of consciousness that answers questions concerning the criteria of consciousness, its localization, and principles of operation. In the study of the hard problem of consciousness, the philosophical and scientific categories of consciousness, and prominent hypotheses and theories of consciousness, the authors distinguish "the area of the conscious mind", which encompasses several states of consciousness united by the phenomenon of integrated consciousness. According to the authors, consciousness is a kind of executor of the phenomenological idea of the "chalice", so the search for it should be conducted deeper than the processes in the power of thought consciousness and transconsciousness, to which integrated consciousness can act as a lever. However, integrated consciousness may have the capacity to transcend into lower states of consciousness, which requires further study.

Computer is used to analyze nonlinear networks. Integrated circuits and new nonlinear elements have generated much interest in nonlinear circuit theory. A key to the understanding and analysis of nonlinear circuits is the study of characteristics for nonlinear elements and nonlinear resistive networks both in theory and in computation. In this apper, an iteration method using cut set analysis for nonlinear dc analysis based on Branin's method is described. Application of this algorithm to solve two nonlinear problems, is presented and a possible method of improving the basic algorithm by means of a sparse matrix technique is described.

This paper focues on development and implementation of a perfomance management algorithm for IEEE802.4 token bus networks to serve large-scale integrated manufacturing systems. Such factory automation networks have to satisfy delay constraints imposed on time-critical messages while maintaining as much network capacity as possible for non-time-critical messages. This paper presents the structure of a network performance manager that possesses the knowledge about perfomance management in a set of fuzzy rules and deriving its action through fuzzy inference mechanism. The efficacy of the performance management has been demonstrated by a series of simulation experiments.

Smart grid is widely considered to be a next generation power grid, which will be integrated with information feedback communications.However, smart grid communication technologies are subject to inefficient spectrum allocation problems. Cognitive radio networks can solve the problemof spectrumscarcity by opening the under-utilized licensed bands to secondary users. In this paper, adaptive cognitive radio spectrum sensing and sharing algorithms are developed for smart grid environments. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in comparison with other existing schemes.

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks have attracted extensive attentions in recent years for their promises in improving safety and enabling other value-added services. Security and privacy are two integrated issues in the deployment of vehicular networks. Privacy-preserving authentication is a key technique in addressing these two issues. In this paper, we first discuss a representation of solutions to the initial value problem and the initial-boundary value problem for discrete evolution equations $${\sum\limits^l_{n=0}}c_n{\partial}^n_tu(x,t)-{\rho}(x){\Delta}_{\omega}u(x,t)=H(x,t)$$, defined on networks, i.e. on weighted graphs. Secondly, we show that the weight of each link of networks can be uniquely identified by using their Dirichlet data and Neumann data on the boundary, under a monotonicity condition on their weights.

This study aims to identify the effect of growth of the land transportation industry on economic growth and to provide implications for Korea's metropolitan region policy. The effect of each metropolitan region on the integrated region where each metropolitan region is integrated is as follows. First, The integrated region where each metropolitan region was integrated with the Southeast region and the Daegyeong region had the greatest economic growth effect due to the growth of the land transportation industry in terms of value added, but the effect of the integrated region with the Chungcheong region was the least. In the case of capital such as roads, the integrated metropolitan regions with the Chungcheong region showed the greatest economic effect. However, the impact of the integrated regions with Jeolla region and the Seoul metropolitan region is insignificant. These results suggest that the synergy effect of metropolitan regional integration by spillover effect such as networks should be considered in the land transportation industry policy.

In this paper, an SS-RRA protocol that is based on Code Division Multiple Access is proposed and analyzed under the integrated voice and data traffic load. The backward logical channels consist of slotted time division frames with multiple spreading codes per slot. The protocol uses a reservation mechanism for the voice traffic, and a random access scheme for the data traffic. A discrete-time, discrete-state Markov chain is used to evaluate the performance. The numerical results show that the performance can be significantly improved by a few distinct spreading codes.

Switching system can be regarded as the key node of Integrated Services Digital Networks(ISDN) because it plays the Important role in realization of ISDN. As ISDN is evolved from the telephony Integrated Digital Network(IDN), the switching system for ISDN will be evolved from the function and structure of telephony digital switching system. At near future, ISDN switching system is expected to implement the integrated access and transparent switching functions for both voice and data. As final goals of switching system, advanced switching methods for information having various traffic characteristics such as voice, data, text and image should be considered. This paper considered. This paper will show some of the fundamental design challenges and architectural trends in ISDN switching system.
