  • This research increases efficiency of track-maintenance repair and cuts maintenance cost with relocating Continuous Welded Rail how to set up install criteria by comprehension analysis through an on-the-spot survey and track measurement about installing place at expansion joint of Continuous Welded Rail. This scope of this research is 427 places installed at Line No.1~4, Seoulmetro. We take a field study and select two spots. So we survey wheel-load, cross-load and railbed cross-resistance and suggest install criteria of expansion joint of Continuous Welded Rail through investigation and analysis of track facilities about neighboring section of expansion joint.

비계지지브라켓 유형별 구조기준 설정에 관한 실험적 연구 (Establishing the Structural Criteria to install Scaffolding-Use Brackets)

  • It is only three(3) years since we applied brackets for scaffolding in the construction area. Unfortunately, there is no structural criteria on how to install those in the site so far, despite the fact that those brackets have been applied into the site by the firms already. It is shown that resistant capacity of each bracket type has been investigated, analyzed from this experimental study. Accident-concerning data on construction site analyzed by the Ministry of Labor, show temporary structure involves 18.6% of the total industrial accident, which the accidents from scafold-supporting brackets have rate of 42.5% of the ones occurred from the temporary structures. There are two main aspects to be observed : one is how much resistant capacity the brackets have themselves, the other is how exactly to install those without eccentricity. But practically, nobody does check of this bolt-installing conditions in the site and no check of tightening level of nut because there is no available tool to check torque amount for this kind of nut. We just have to rely on scaffolders experience of this tightening. This experiment involves just this variable of tightness at site. Eventually this insufficient tightness causes to collapse those scaffolding structures. The bracket might have less the one than its original capacity due to this insufficient tightness. Three(3) times of PIVOT tests show that fractured condition of two(2) row brackets has occurred mostly at lower bolt due to shear force. Therefore, tightness of bracket-installing bolt, tensile strength of the bolt, shear strength of the bolt, loading condition with equal two point or inequal two point loads, are mainly investigated as variables in this study.

Design criteria of wind barriers for traffic -Part 2: decision making process

  • This study presents a decision making process for installation of wind barrier which is used to reduce the wind speed applied to running vehicles on expressway. To determine whether it is needed to install wind barrier or not, cost and benefit from wind barrier are calculated during lifetime. In obtaining car accidental risk, probabilistic distribution of wind speed, daily traffic volume, mixture ratio in the volume, and duration time for wind speed range are considered. It is recommended to install wind barrier if benefit from the barrier installation exceed construction cost. In the numerical examples, case studies were shown for risk and benefit calculation and main risky regions on Korean highway were all evaluated to identify the number of installation sites.

고속도로 진출램프 부근의 충격흡수시설 설치여부 판단기준 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Determination Criteria Installing Crash Cushion on Freeway Off-Ramp)

  • 충격흡수시설(Crash Cushion)은 고속도로 진출램프의 고어(Gore)지역과 같이 차량이 주행차로를 벗어나 도로상의 구조물과 충돌할 위험이 있는 곳에 설치하여 충돌 전 충격에너지를 흡수하는 역할을 하는 도로변 안전시설물이다. 시설의 설치효과를 높이기 위해서는 사고 발생 가능성을 고려하여 설치여부를 판단하는 기준이 필요하다. 그러나 현재의 충격흡수시설 설치기준은 이와 같은 과정을 제시하지 못하고 있다. 이에 착안하여 본 연구에서는 충격흡수시설의 설치여부 판단기준 개발을 위해 두 가지 형태의 연구를 수행하였다. 첫 번째는 고속도로 진출램프 사고예측모형의 개발이다. 충격흡수시설이 설치되는 고속도로의 고어(Gore)지역에서 발생되는 교통사고와 도로환경적 요인과의 관계를 고려한 사고예측모형을 개발하는 과정으로 교통통계 학자들 사이에서 교통사고의 특성을 잘 반영하여 준다고 알려진 음이항 분포를 사용하였다. 두 번째는 고속도로 진출행동모형의 개발이다. 운전자에 의한 고속도로 진출과정을 단계별로 가정하고 가정된 진출과정에 의해 발생되는 변수들과 사고와의 상관관계를 고려하여 운전행동모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 두 가지 형태의 모형으로 위험도를 수치화하고 편익-비용분석 과정을 통하여 충격흡수시설을 설치여부 판단기준을 제시하였다. 도로환경적 요인과 인적요인을 동시에 고려한 본 연구의 접근방법을 통해 효과적으로 충격흡수시설의 설치여부를 판단할 수 있다.

PAL-XFEL 빔라인 허치 구조물 개발 (The Development of Beamline Hutch Structures at PAL-XFEL)

  • The hutches which are installed in the beamline are largely classified into two, i.e XPP (X-ray pump probe) and CXI (Coherent X-ray image). Laser room is installed on the hutch and provides laser to XPP and CXI simultaneously. And two hutches have heavy crane to install some optics equipments. Safety and reliability of hutch structures should be taken into account for the precise operating of the laser facilities, so vibration analysis is essential to do this. The main purpose of vibration analysis is to install hutch structures with large stiffness. We have changed materials specification several times to install hutch structures having strong stiffness. Now hutch structures were installed and checked vibration status at laser room and XPP hutch. The results of laser table and robot arm satisfy vibration criteria. This paper explains about the design and vibration analysis of hutch structures.

위협모델링과 공통평가기준을 활용한 인포테인먼트의 안전한 업데이트 보안요구사항 분석 (Analysis of Security Requirements for Secure Update of IVI(In-Vehicle-Infotainment) Using Threat Modeling and Common Criteria)

  • 차량 내부에 탑재되어 있는 인포테인먼트는 네비게이션뿐만 아니라 앱을 설치하여 다양한 기능을 제공하고 있으며, ECU에 명령을 전송하여 차량 전체를 제어하는 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있다. 인포테인먼트는 다양한 무선 통신 프로토콜을 지원하며, 이를 통해 해커들이 접근하기 위한 공격 표면이 되고 있다. 인포테인먼트가 해킹되어 악성 소프트웨어가 설치되면 차량 제어권을 획득하여 ECU에 악의적인 명령을 전송하여 운전자의 생명에도 영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 따라서 인포테인먼트 소프트웨어 업데이트에 대한 보안성 및 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 방안이 필요하다. 보안성 및 신뢰성을 제공하기 위하여 개발 초기 단계부터 보안을 고려한 SDL에 따라 개발되어야 하며, 위협모델링 기법을 적용하여 체계적인 보안요구사항을 도출해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 인포테인먼트의 업데이트 보안요구사항을 도출하기 위하여 위협모델링을 수행하고, 공통평가기준의 보안기능요구사항 및 보증요구사항을 도출하여, 인포테인먼트에서 안전한 소프트웨어 업데이트를 위한 기준을 제시한다.

국내 배편계통의 최적 개폐기 설치 기준 (The Optimized Standards and Criteria for Installing Switches on Distribution Feeder)

  • Utilities are trying to install the equipment of high quality to avoid deterioration of supply reliability. In addition, many sectionalizing switches which can decrease the total outage value for a fault are installed for the same reason. Therefore, utilities are interested in stun dards and criteria for installing switches to optimize the total cost on distribution systems. The affect of sectionalizing switches installed on distribution feeder is gradually decreased because the failure rate on distribution feeder is decreased. Also the automation for distribution systems is widely applied for the efficient operation. Therefore, the renewal for installation standards of sectionalizing switches Is required to reflect the current operation situation. The variable data is used to consider the KEPCO's real situation of distribution feeder as follows; the feeder capacity, connecting rate, feeder length, failure rate of distribution feeder, the failure rate of switches, perception time of feeder fault, the restoration time for a faulted section, the transfer time to other feeders, and the switching time. In this study, We propose equations which can determine the number of sectionalizing switches for minimizing the outage and switch installation cost.

차량높이 계측을 통한 차종분류 향상 방안 연구 (Improvement of Vehicle Classification Method using Vehicle Height Measurement)

  • 도로를 주행하는 차량들을 구분하는 차종자료는 도로 및 포장의 설계와 관리 등 여러 분야에서 기초자료로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차종구분에 차량높이라는 분류기준을 적용하기 위해 주행하는 차량의 높이를 계측할 수 있는 방법을 고안하고 현장에 장비를 설치한 후 실험을 통해서 차량길이와 차량최고높이 자료를 획득하였다. 차량높이 측정과 동시에 동영상을 촬영하여 국토해양부 12종 차종분류에 의거하여 차종분류 기준값을 작성하였다. 영상을 통해 작성된 차종자료 기준값과 측정된 차량길이와 차량높이를 토대로 판별함수를 이용한 차종분류값을 서로 비교한 결과 88.6%의 차종정확도를 확인하였다. 이를 통해 차량높이라는 분류기준을 적용하여 차종분류에 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

방사선치료 장비들의 매일 정도관리를 위한 다용도 모형의 제작 (Manufacture of Versatile Phantom for the Daily Quality Assurance of Radiation Therapy Equipments)

  • We examined the accuracy and efficiency of phantom by applying the designed phantom in order to check daily quality assurance easily by objective criteria and to confirm daily quality assurance of linear accelerator, simulator, and CT-simulator. The results of 10 weeks of linear accelerator output dose using American Association of Physicists in Medicine(AAPM) daily quality assurance guide were measured within ${\pm}1%$ of error. Mechanical check of laser alignment, optical distance indicator(ODI), CT scanner laser and alignment of gantry lasers with the center of imaging plane were measured within ${\pm}1mm$. Daily average working time for daily quality assurance of radiation therapy equipments was 38 minutes. The designed phantom was easy to install and daily quality assurance was possible with only one installation. The aspects reproducibility and efficiency as well as accuracy of quality assurance were excellent.
