  • A standard approach is to classify all of future observations. In some cases, however, it would be desirable to defer a decision in particular for observations which are hard to classify. That is, it would be better to take more advanced tests rather than to make a decision right away. This motivates a classifier with a reject option that reports a warning for those observations that are hard to classify. In this paper, we present the method which gives efficient computation with a reject option. Some numerical results show strong potential of the propose method.

  • In regression problem, the SCAD estimator proposed by Fan and Li (2001), has many desirable property such as continuity, sparsity and unbiasedness. In this paper, we extend SCAD penalized regression framework to quantile regression and hence, we propose new SCAD penalized quantile estimator on high-dimensions and also present an efficient algorithm. From the simulation and real data set, the proposed estimator performs better than quantile regression estimator with $L_1$ norm.

  • In this paper, the concept of coordination under the setting of cooperative multiagent systems is examined. Based on the concept, a computational model in which the key constructs of coordination can be precisely defined is developed. This model can serve as a basis for developing software systems designed to support coordination in Eletronic Commerce. Coordination is viewed as management of conflicting demands on finite resources by actors or acitivities. The model views coordination as a cycle of four phases: the definition phase, the conflict resolution phase, the action phase, and the adaptation phase. Then, a formal model of coordination, both as a phenomenon and as a process is devloped. Within the context of this model, important concepts such as decomposability, informational privacy, informational decentralization, and informational efficiency are examined.

  • We introduce the concept of intuitionistic smooth topology in Lowen's sense and we prove that the family IST(X) of all intuitionistic smooth topologies on a set is a meet complete lattice with least element and the greatest element [Proposition 3.6]. Also we introduce the notion of level fuzzy topology on a set X with respect to an intuitionistic smooth topology and we obtain the relation between the intuitionistic smooth topology $\tau$ and the intuitionistic smooth topology $\eta$ generated by level fuzzy topologies with respect to $\tau$ [Theorem 3.10].

  • It presents the concepts of ordinary smooth interior and ordinary smooth closure of an ordinary subset and their structural properties. It also introduces the notion of ordinary smooth (open) preserving mapping and addresses some their properties. In addition, it develops the notions of ordinary smooth compactness, ordinary smooth almost compactness, and ordinary near compactness and discusses them in the general framework of ordinary smooth topological spaces.

  • We introduce the notions of ordinary smooth, quasi-ordinary smooth and weak ordinary smooth structure, showing that various properties of an ordinary smooth topological space can be expressed in terms of these structures. In particular, the definitions and results of [2, 4, 5] may be expressed in terms of the ordinary smooth and quasi-ordinary smooth structures. Furthermore, we present the basic concepts relating to the weak ordinary smooth structure of an ordinary smooth topological space and the fundamental properties of the objects in these structures.

  • We study some properties of interval-valued fuzzy normal subgroups of a group. In particular, we obtain two characterizations of interval-valued fuzzy normal subgroups. Moreover, we introduce the concept of an interval-valued fuzzy coset and obtain several results which are analogous of some basic theorems of group theory.

  • We give some properties of intuitionistc fuzzy left, right, and two-sided ideals and bi-ideals of a semigroup. And we characterize a regular semigroup, a semigroup that is a lattice of left(right) simple semigroups, a semigroup that is a semilattice of left(right) groups and a semigroup that is a semilattice of groups in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals.

  • We introduce the subcategory IRel$\_$R/ (H) of IRel (H) consisting of intuitionistic H-fuzzy reflexive relational spaces on sets and we study structures of IRel$\_$R/ (H) in a viewpoint of the topological universe introduce by L.D.Nel. We show that IRel$\_$R/ (H) is a topological universe over Set. Moreover, we show that exponential objects in IRel$\_$R/ (H) are quite different from those in IRel (H) constructed in [7].
