클라우드 기반 지리공간정보를 활용한 작전상황 혼합현실 가시화 시스템 설계 (Design of Mixed Reality Visualization System for Operational Situation Using Cloud-based Geospatial Information)

  • The importance of geospatial information is increasingly highlighted in the defense domain. Accurate and up-to-date geospatial data is essential for situational awareness, target analysis, and mission planning in millitary operations. The use of high-resolution geospatial data in military operations requires large storage and fast image processing capabilities. Efficient image processing is required for tasks such as extracting useful information from satellite images and creating 3D terrain for mission planning, In this paper, we designed a cloud-based operational situation mixed reality visualization system that utilizes large-scale geospatial information distributed processed on a cloud server based on the container orchestration platform Kubernetes. We implemented a prototype and confirmed the suitability of the design.

  • This paper provides a product data representation, a data schema and related operations, for the management of engineering changes. The computer Interpretable format of the representation enables itself to be realized through databases and their applications to a component of a product data management system. Supporting general operations for the engineering changes, it resolves problems of the existing information systems in the nested engineering changes and the simultaneous change application to multiple products. To show the feasibility, a prototype system is implemented based on the representation.

  • Workflow is a collection of tasks organized to accomplish some business processes. It also defines the order of task invocation or conditions under which task must be invoked, task synchronization, and information flow. And activity based costing(ABC) provides accurate cost information for decision making. In ABC systems, costs must be separable into cost pools each of which corresponding to a single cost driver. These two systems are closely related to each other. But recent research deals with workflows and ABC systems separately. Thus, this research proposes an extended workflow model which is expressed cost information using activity based costing.

  • This research presents efficient operation schemes that is emphasized on mailing center's automation parts. We utilized the automation indicator to analyzed the mailing center system. For automation of the mailing center, we proposed the sorting automation alternative of registered mail, automation of conveyance system between workshops and the Up-Grade scheme for process improvement in mailing center. The selection of the registered mailing f s automation alternatives is composed of the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. Through the analysis of the space and the quantity of materials, the simulation experiments are conducted to examine conveyance equipment possibility of the mailing center. By simplifying the mailing center conceptually, we proposed the upgrade of process for the mailing center system. The result of this research can give some ideas to people who are formulating a policy for the mailing center operation.

  • Since the primary purpose of information Engineering focuses on transaction or operation processing, various information needs acquired in Information Strategy Planning phase are not properly utilized from the viewpoint of decision support systems development. In this research, we suggest a case-based reasoning application that supports initial Data Warehouse Modeling by expanding the activities in Information Strategy Planning.

  • 조인 연산은 데이터베이스 시스템의 가장 기본적이고 중요한 연산이며, 큰 수행 비용을 필요로 하는 연산이다. 지금까지 효율적인 조인 연산의 구현과 평가를 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되었다. 기존의 조인 연산 평가는 구현자 관점에서 우수한 알고리즘을 규명하기 위해 개발되었다. 본 논문은 사용자 관점에서 조인 연산 성능을 평가하는 조인 연산 평가 방법론을 기술한다. 본 성능 평가는 사용자가 자신의 업무에 적합한 조인 연산을 수행하는 데이터베이스 시스템을 선택하는데 도움을 준다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 조인 범주와 여섯 가지의 조인 성능 영향 요소를 고려하여 42개의 평가 질의를 제안한다. 마지막으로 제안된 방법론에 따라 두 개의 상용 데이터베이스 시스템을 대상으로 구현하고 성능 평가 결과를 기술하였다.

A Simplified Graphics System Based on Direct Rendering Manager System

  • In the field of computer graphics, rendering speed is one of the most important factors. Contemporary rendering is performed using 3D graphics systems with windowing system support. Since typical graphics systems, including OpenGL and the DirectX library, focus on the variety of graphics rendering features, the rendering process itself consists of many complicated operations. In contrast, early computer systems used direct manipulation of computer graphics hardware, and achieved simple and efficient graphics handling operations. We suggest an alternative method of accelerated 2D and 3D graphics output, based on directly accessing modern GPU hardware using the direct rendering manager (DRM) system. On the basis of this DRM support, we exchange the graphics instructions and graphics data directly, and achieve better performance than full 3D graphics systems. We present a prototype system for providing a set of simple 2D and 3D graphics primitives. Experimental results and their screen shots are included.

  • 새로운 기술의 발전과 정보화 확산으로 인해 정보시스템의 구축 비용보다 더 많은 노력이 유지보수에 들어가고 있다. 정보시스템의 수명주기를 기준으로 전체의 75%에 매우 큰 비중을 차지하는 유지보수를 효율적으로 운영하는 것은 매우 중요한 문제이다. 이처럼 정보시스템 유지보수 업무는 그 중요성에 비해서 우리가 간과해 온 부문 중의 하나이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유지보수 업무에 관한 사례 연구를 통해서 현황을 분석하고 현황을 바탕으로 문제점과 개선 방향을 제시하였다.

Weighted average of fuzzy numbers under TW(the weakest t-norm)-based fuzzy arithmetic operations

  • Many authors considered the computational aspect of sup-min convolution when applied to weighted average operations. They used a computational algorithm based on a-cut representation of fuzzy sets, nonlinear programming implementation of the extension principle, and interval analysis. It is well known that $T_W$(the weakest t-norm)-based addition and multiplication preserve the shape of L-R type fuzzy numbers. In this paper, we consider the computational aspect of the extension principle by the use of $T_W$ when the principle is applied to fuzzy weighted average operations. We give the exact solution for the case where variables and coefficients are L-L fuzzy numbers without programming or the aid of computer resources.
