R410A 냉매를 이용한 GHP용 고효율 실내기 성능특성 (Performance Analysis of Indoor GHP for R410A Application)

  • The objectives of this paper are to study the effects of thermal and geometric conditions on the performance of indoor heat exchanger with R410A. This study carried out experimental and numerical analysis for indoor heat exchangers. In the experimental study, capacity of the indoor unit was estimated 8.3 kWh with the valve opening rate of 95% for the 50% partial operation condition. The air temperatures were measured using 80 thermocouples. This study also compared experimental data with the calculated data for the outlet temperature and the tube length. It is found that the relative errors between the experiment data and the calculated result are 4.2% and 0.5% for the outlet temperature and the tube length, respectively.

  • Modern people are more interested in the indoor environment as they spend more time indoors than in the past. Among the air pollutants in the indoor air, ladon gas is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, inert gas produced by nuclear decomposition of naturally occurring uranium in rocks and soils. It has been proven that ladon gas is introduced into the room through cracks on the floor of the building or basement wall, and it causes various diseases such as lung cancer when exposed to radon during human breathing. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) specifies 4pCi / L as a necessary measure for radon, and the Korea Environmental Protection Agency has implemented comprehensive indoor radon management measures since 2007. Therefore, in this study, we intend to adsorb and reduce radon in indoor air pollutants.

  • Radon has been considered the greatest source of exposure within the total radiation exposure of the human body. xposure from radon, which exists in indoor air quality, lacks public perception, Radon, which exists anywhere on earth, is not regarded as a state of attention even if it is above the average level. Indoor radon exposure situations are not intentionally introduced, and essentially the attention and responsibilities of radon exposures are assumed to be in indoor occupants. So, these are caused by common uranium and thorium scattering on Earth, and are brought into the building by fine cracks or exposed indicators of the buildings. Therefore, this study aims to reduce the risk of radon rays and reduce radon, which induces diseases caused by breathing in the body of indoor air pollutants and emitting diseases by emitting alpha rays from the radon gas.

대공간의 바닥 복사 난방 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Application of Radiant Floor Heating in Large Space)

  • This paper addresses the indoor air quality when radiant floor heating is applied in large space. Radiant heat exchange between surfaces depends on the orientation and the temperature of the surfaces. Also, the temperature and the radiant characteristic of the wall and the roof that face the floor have great influence on the indoor air environment due to the largeness of the wall and the roof in large spaces. In this study, we simulate a test-cell(25X20X10) using a ies YE And using a CFD(microflo in VE), an indoor air environment was investigated to establish the optimum temperature of floor. At the first time of the heating, high floor temperature is demanded. At the middle of the heating, however, the temperature of the residential space was formed appropriately, although the temperature of the floor was set low.

  • In recent days, IAQ(Indoor Air Quality) is regarded as one of the most important environmental factors as well as thermal and acoustic comfort. The purpose of this study was to estimate on effect of indoor air pollution from VOCs and formaldehyde emitted by building materials. As the results, we knew that concentration of Toluene, Xylene, Styrene and HCHO emitted from the furnitures and frame material of windows and doors are high emission factors on indoor air pollution.

Simulated Study on Typical Sources of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in Indoor Air

  • In this paper, several simulated devices were constructed for determining components of organic vapors emitting from decorative materials, daily use chemicals and from common behavior of human beings, such as smoking and cooking. The VOCs were preconcentrated on activated carbon and then desorbed by carbon disulphide. The results were obtained by GC/MS analysis and computer searching. It can be concluded that the categories of the sources and the components of organic vapors in indoor air are very complicated, and different sources of VOCs in indoor air have their own emission characteristics.

  • Recently, IAQ(indoor air quality) is one of the greatest problems in our modern societies. Although research for IAQ is made rapid progress but microorganism concentration is much to be desired. So we have examined a variety of department store, subway station, underground shopping center, kindergartens, library etc. where people complain about the indoor air quality. The microorganism concentration of indoor air was investigated in this study and the average of total microorganisms was measured. The experimental results show that the ministry of Environment recommendation value (800 $CFU/m^3$)is in need of revision in the naer future.

  • The indoor air quality of new apartment buildings, which is known to cause sick housing syndrome, has become a major concern among apartment residents as well as construction companies in Korea. In this study, the effects of environmentally friendly materials and ventilation system are evaluated to compare the strategies applied to improve indoor air quality at the pre-occupancy stage. Six residential units are tested under three conditions : one unit is consisted of environmentally friendly materials and ventilation system, another unit is consisted of environmentally friendly materials and non-ventilation system, and the other four units are consisted of common materials and non-ventilation system.

  • In recent years, our society is confronted with many environmental problems. Among them, Especially, Sick House Syndrome is brought into relief as a society's issue and the people's concern of Indoor Air Quality is also increased. Nowadays, about 20percent of korean children is suffered from allergic respiratory diseases such as asthma or rhinitis. From student's physical and mental point of view, indoor environmental condition of school is very important and must be kept by strict regulation Therefore, the aim of this thesis is focused on the measurement and analysis of indoor air quality of classroom.

Bake-Out에 의한 신축 아파트의 실내 오염물질농도 저감효과 평가 (The Impact of Bake-Out Method on the Reduction of Pollutant Concentration in New Apartments)

  • Indoor air pollution has been significantly aggravated due to hazardous pollutants emitted from petrochemical finishing materials in new apartments. Pollutants emitted into indoor environment have significant effects on the health of occupants, causing undesirable symptoms related to sick building syndrome such as headache, dizziness, difficulty in concentration, etc. Therefore, this paper attempted to investigate the reduction effect of bake out on VOCs emission in new apartments. Experiments were carried out in three households, one of which was naturally ventilated. The naturally ventilated showed the lowest indoor pollutant concentration and also showed the highest reduction rate by the use of bake out. The most desirable result was observed when the household was naturally ventilated after bake out. More detailed experiments are expected to be carried out afterwards on the prediction of reduction rate of each pollutant.
