A set D ⊆ V (G) is an independent transversal dominating set of G if D is a dominating set and also intersects every maximum independent set in G. The minimum cardinality of such a set is equal to the transversal domination number, denoted by ��it(G). This paper is devoted to the computation of the independent transversal domination number of some complementary prism.

본 연구는 TEI를 기반으로 한 전자문헌의 서지정보를 수록한 TEI Independent Header를 MARC으로 변환시켜 주기 위하여 전자문헌의 인코딩, 인코딩언어인 SGML, 인코딩 포맷인 TEI를 연구하였다. 나아가 TEI를 기반으로 한 전자문헌의 자동 목록작성의 가능성을 살펴보기 위하여 TEI Independent Header와 MARC을 비교분석하였다.

The study estimated employee satisfaction to apply TQM system to hospital foodservice management. A survey was mailed to foodservice employees of five general hospitals with more than 300 beds, three of them were independent and two of them were contract foodservice management. A total of 129 questionnaires were returned and analyzed for statistical analysis. Statistical analysis was completed using SPSS for chi-square test, t-test and Pearson's correlation. The results of this study showed that employees of contract foodservice presented higher scores than independent foodservice in interests, affection, importance of works. And achievement of work was significantly different between contract and independent foodservice employees (p < 0.05). The satisfaction of payment adequacy was lower for contract foodservice employees (p < 0.05). The employees of both contract and independent foodservice were satisfied with attitude of foodservice managers toward employee. Attitude scores of foodservice employees toward co-worker were higher in independent foodservice. Employees of independent foodservice showed higher scores for the attitude toward institution represented satisfaction. (Korean J Nutrition 38(2): 173～179, 2005)

The purpose of this research was to study opinions on elderly housing and attitudes toward the problems related to elderly lives, which were due to dependence or independence in later life. The survey was conducted among middle-aged people in their fifties, living in Seoul. The final sample included 498 respondents. Since the statistical analysis was focused only on independent and dependent groups, total cases for the analysis were 373. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, the group that was more independent in later life tended to be healthier, lived with a husband or wife, had no children, and had more monthly income and assets. Secondly, the group that was more independent in later life believed that they had the sole responsibility of resolving later life issues. The group that was more dependent believed that their family, not themselves, must resolve their later life problems. The independent group wanted to continue their work or enjoy leisure. Thirdly, the group that was more independent about elderly housing stated that they were responsible for it, while the other group stated that their family was. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of general idea, and social interest. However, the independent group answered that more development and management of elderly housing were needed. The expected living arrangement in their later lives was similar. Also, there were no differences between the two groups in living with family or the demand for service from elderly housing.

Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is a blind source separation method using unsupervised learning and mutual information theory created in the late eighties and developed in the nineties. It has already succeeded in separating eye movement artifacts from human scalp EEG recording. Several characteristic sleep waves such as sleep spindle, K-complex, and positive occipital sharp transient of sleep (POSTS) can be recorded during sleep EEG recording. They are used as stage determining factors of sleep staging and might be reflections of unknown neural sources during sleep. We applied the ICA method to sleep EEG for sleep waves separation. Eighteen channel scalp longitudinal bipolar montage was used for the EEG recording. With the sampling rate of 256Hz, digital EEG data were converted into 18 by n matrix which was used as a original data matrix X. Independent source matrix U (18 by n) was obtained by independent component analysis method ($U=W{\timex}X$, where W is an 18 by 18 matrix obtained by ICA procedures). ICA was applied to the original EEG containing sleep spindle, K-complex, and POSTS. Among the 18 independent components, those containing characteristic shape of sleep waves could be identified. Each independent component was reconstructed into original montage by the product of inverse matrix of W (inv(W)) and U. The reconstructed EEG might be a separation of sleep waves without other components of original EEG matrix X. This result (might) demonstrates that characteristic sleep waves may be separated from original EEG of unknown mixed neural origins by the Independent Component Analysis (ICA) method.

This paper describes independent phase BLDC motor with a maximum torque among BLDC motor used for electric propulsion system Independent phase BLDC motor has characteristic that phases of stator we independent electrically. This paper is modeling two type of 3 phases BLDC motors, one has Y-connection type and the other has independent type, and it shows simulation of them, compares its characteristics. As a result of simulation, phase voltage of independent 3 phase BLDC motor is higher than Y-connection three phase BLDC motor. When the stator resistance and inductance are stable, high phase voltage causes an increase in maximum phase current and an increases in it serially causes an increase of maximum torque. It is also found that the current pulsation of independent phase BLDC motor was decreased by controlling phase current of independent BLDC motor.

This study analysis effect of social support and career maturity on readiness for independent living of run away youths using drop in center. This result peer support had more influence on preparing for independent living than in supporting the working class and career maturity had a huge impact on all the low-variables of preparing for independent living. Career maturity level for run away youths paly an important role in preparing for independent living just like general youths. On the base this study propose supporting system preparing for independent living, worker empowerment, drop in center's role establish for independent living.

With the recent advancement of control method and battery technology, the electric vehicle have been researched to replace the conventional vehicle with electric vehicle with the view point of the environmental concerns and energy conservation. An electric vehicle which is equipped with the independent front steering system and in-wheel motors has advantage in terms of control. For example, the different torque which generated by left and right wheels directly can make yaw moment and the independent steering using outer wheel control is able to reduce the sideslip angle. Using of independent steering and driving system, the 4 wheel electric vehicle can improve a performance better than conventional vehicle. In this paper, we consider the method for improving the cornering performance of independent front steering system and in-wheel motor used electric vehicle with the compensated outer wheel angle and direct yaw moment control. Simulation results show that the method can improve the cornering performance of 4 wheel electric vehicle. We also apply the steering motor failure to steer the vehicle turned by the torque difference without steering. This paper describes an independent front steering and driving, consist of three parts; Vehicle Model, Control Algorithm for independent steering and driving and simulation. First, vehicle model is application of TruckSim software for independent front steering and 4 wheel driving. Second, control algorithm describes the reduced sideslip and direct yaw moment method in view of cornering performance. Last is simulation and verification.

The purpose of this essay is to check what are the problems of the current Korean independent films and to find the solutions for effective circulation of the Korean independent films in terms of its intimacy to public. For this, I would like to define 'independent film' and 'its ambiguous distinction', and then I presented the current issues of the Korean independent films and suggested the alternatives of the effective circulation of its production and distribution. Independent films can be defined through our understanding and identification, and it is significant of mutual communication with the audience, so that I will classify the cases of box office of the independent films. The effectiveness of production can be suggested by lower budget and many financial supports, and the effectiveness of distribution is to have many occasions to release, to benefit with them and to release in many festivals. The effort of independent filmmakers, mutual communication between filmmakers and the audience, and the official supporting system will make it possible for effective production and distribution. With this possibility, the future of Korean independent film will be bright.
