Type 2 diabetes mellitus in children and adolescents has been increasing for last 10 years. The increase in frequency of type 2 diabetes appears to parallel the increase in prevalence and severity of obesity in children and adolescents. The metabolic syndrome, cluster of potent risk factors for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, consists of insulin resistance, obesity, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. The atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease are rarely seen in the young, but the pathologic processes and risk factors are associated its development have been shown to begin during childhood. In pediatrician it is important to recognize early and treat aggressively for prevention of future cardiovascular disease in children and adolescents with metabolic syndrome.

We compared three nations' diets on Year 2000 Korean, American and Mediterranean in the aspect of contribution of each to the development of cardiovascular diseases. We searched all the available evidences published. Korea has a very low incidence of cardiovascular diseses compared to the other countries even though they are increasing recently. In addition to many risk factors to these defenerative diseases such as diabetes millitus, hypertension, smoking, hyperlipidemia, sedentary lifestyle, etc., dietary factors are also contributing a lot to their development. High calorie, trans fatty acids, cholesterol, saturated fatty acids, alcohol, salt intakes are examples. Korean diet has superiority of low calorie, low fat, good fat proportion, high omega-3 fatty acids, vegetables, beans, and garlic and onions These are believed to contribute to low incidence of cardiovascular diseases in Korea. Korean diets was also found to have some issues for improvement such as high salt, low calcium, and higher use of barbequed meats. We concluded Korean people stay better off with Korean diet with some modifications.

Customer satisfaction and loyalty are becoming an increasing salient topic in many firms and in academic research. This study places significance in establishing corporate marketing strategy via analyzing and understanding purchasing by Korean and Chinese customer, especially those for service store, who serve as the core in marketing activities. To objectives of this study are to investigate which antecedent variables have significant effects on consumer perceived satisfaction or loyalty and to examine whether these factors have differences between Korean and Chinese customer. To test the hypotheses, such antecedent variables as the product quality, service quality, store reputation, store image. All variables are significant factors in both Korean and Chinese customer. Under the current increasingly rapid competitive market, product/service quality, store reputation/image can provide customer satisfaction and loyalty, can generate continual customer expansion of current customer through the reuse intention and can contribute to the expansion of new customers.

According to the development of information processing technology and mobile communication technology, the utilization of mobile banking systems is drastically increasing in banking system. In the foreseeable future, it is expected to increase rapidly the demands of mobile banking in bank systems with the prevalence of smart devices and technologies. However, the keeping 'security' is very important in banking systems that handles personal information and financial assets. But it is very difficult to improve the security of banking systems only with the vulnerabilities and faults analysis methods of information security. Hence, in this paper, we accomplish the analysis of security risk factor and security vulnerability that occur in mobile banking system. With analyzed results, we propose the information security control and management processes for assessing and improving security based on the mechanisms which composes mobile banking system.

In wire discharge machining which is using STD 11 as die materials, the major factors of machining speed are discharge voltage, discharge current, and discharge time. All of the three factors give the effect. Increasing of the discharge pulse time gets groove width wider and it relatively increases surface roughness and clearance. If no load voltage is decreased, surface roughness is good but it decreases machining speed. If on time is increased, machining speed will get faster and clearance and offset value also get bigger.

Speed enforcement is one of the major challenges in traffic safety. The increasing number of accidents and fatalities has led governments to respond by implementing an intelligent control system. For example, the Korean government implemented a speed camera system for maintaining road safety. However, many drivers still engage in speeding behavior in blackspot areas where speed cameras are not provided. Therefore, we propose a methodology to analyze the combined accident and speeding data to offer recommendations to maintain traffic safety. We investigate three factors: "section," "existing speed camera location," and "over speeding data." To interpret the results, we used the QGIS tool for visualizing the spatial distribution of the incidents. Finally, we provide four recommendations based on the three aforementioned factors: "investigate with experts," "no action," "install fixed speed cameras," and "deploy mobile speed cameras."

Although the order of Design-Build is being expanded by increasing construction scale and demanding hybrid function, the suitable regulation of the contracts is not settled. Design-Build is way by government because there are big construction of much government leading in contract relation high position occupy. So, case that prebendary's claim institution develops by litigation is very rare. But, recently Design-Build is magnified. So, these dispute factors is becoming visualization gradually. The contract system is needed to be consistent by international standard to deal with the problem. This study suggests the useful solutions in detail concerned with the main factor of change order claim by each Design-Build phases through practical sorting and analysis of the causes of Change Order-Claim.

Recently increasing amount of efforts has been devoted to the improvement of logistics in the marine products industry. Yet, few studios have been conducted on the development of site selection models of marine products centers. This paper Proposes a systematic assessment model for the decision making, which is composed of a set of evaluation criteria and an appropriate evaluation method. In choosing criteria we consider completeness and comprehensiveness to reach a right solution. For more flexibility of the model in the future, this study proposes two sets of criteria according to the size of planned centers. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is adopted in this study, since the criteria incorporate both subjective factors and objective factors and the AHP is known effective in the situation. This study then illustrates the model application with plausible alternatives. Finally, a dependency problem in the decision criteria is discussed and the Analytic Network Process (ANP) is recommended, in the context, as e solution method.

This study uses data envelopment analysis(DEA) to examine the relative efficiency in the production of research of 414 Korean universities utilizing the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Report(MESTR) focusing on the 2009. This study has examined DEA and how it measures the efficiency of university units. This study has also useful suggested various approaches to advance efficiency and can provide substantial guidance for increasing the competitiveness between universities, through identifying problematic areas with the input factors and by doing so improving the output factors.

Recently with the increasing economics, many hish-rise and complicated building with new architecture features are constructed in Korea. These higher and bigger building have many difficulties of fire safety concerns, especially evacuation plan. In this paper, aims to present logical basis for forecasting egress behavior of occupants and systematized Egress-Prediction Model by analysing expectable decisive factors among influential factors each step until completing egress from perception of fire cues.
