A Method for Transmission of Image data using Bluetooth Network (블루투스 네트워크를 이용한 영상 전송)

  • Bluetooth is a promising wireless personal area network technology and is on the verge of being ubiquitously deployed over wide range of devices. This paper aims to implement a wireless network for image transmission using Bluetooth technology. The characteristics of Bluetooth are small size, low band width and low power consumption, However, there are some difficulties in implementing a wireless radio network using Bluetooth since a lot of repeaters may needed when Bluetooth depends a role of host on personal computer for data transmission. In this paper, a method to implement a wireless radio network is proposed and applied for image transmission using a small size microprocessor for each Bluetooth.

  • In this study, we implement the multiple frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis system for body composition analysis. Overall system consists of : 1) conductivity electrodes to contact with hands and foots, 2) multiple frequency alternating current signal generator for generating 5, 50, 250kHz frequency and 800uA contained alternating current signal, 3) voltage signal detector, 4) phase signal detector, 5) key-pad to input individual information, 6) micro controller for data processing, 7) LCD for processed data to display, 8) system power, We explain the architecture of the system and required theory to implement the system. Finally, experimental results are illustrated to show the performance of the system.

  • A use of micro processor having H-com functions is gradually increased, and this paper describes the digital servo controller applied to linear pulse motor The TMS320LF2407, made by TI(Texas Instruments Co.), is used as a arithmetic unit in control circuit, designed f3r motor drive and available for the implement of high performance and miniaturization. Also, it can allow the sufficient debugging and downloading into control board for independent operation. A current control in order to carry out a position control is of a digital current control mode, and its implement confirmed the servo control performance of position control.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze four models of global e-trade implementation which was suggested at the advance research of implementation global e-Trade with major trading countries. The main outcomes of this empirical study are as follows. For realizing global e-trade of G-Networking model country we have to implement e-trade in the field of "import & logistics". And for realizing global e-trade of P-Networking model country, it need to try in "settlement & clearance". Furthermore, for realizing global e-Trade of G-Penetration model country, we have known that the field of "import & logistics" would be implemented. Finally for realizing global e-Trade of P-Penetration model country, "settlement & clearance" could be implemented. Also, this study suggests that we have to do negotiation with China and Japan at first, and to try the area of settlement & clearance to implement the global e-Trade with Korea's 10 major trading countries.

  • A web-based program life-cycle management(PLM) system is introduced to implement the system engineering processes and to provide the development teaceability online. This information system aims for the realization of essential system engineering management techniques currently applied to the space launch system development program including management of configuration and data based on the work breakdown structure(WBS), WBS, bill of materials and properties. The system enhances communication and gives access to the development data with relevant information such as data-to-data relation and approval status/history through the web, and preserve all of the development data throughout the program life-cycle. Further improvement of the system is planned to implement the program managrment pricesses and to provide integrated information useful for the programmatic decision making.

  • A certificate is important media for the purpose of offering user-authentication service on PKI system. In the paper we analyzed management implement which could make the efficient use of a certificate. This implement called ClientCA will make efficient use of the service about user-authentication consisting of the basis in the age of information through efficient management and partial use of each certificates. Especially, ClientCA could be used efficiently by grafting a small group of PKI system which is operated with particular purposes.

  • This paper describes the application of discrete event systems theory to the design of an automated laboratory system. Current automated laboratory systems typically consist of several interacting processes that must be carefully sequenced to avoid any possible process conflicts. Discrete Event Systems (DES) theory and Supervisory Control Theory (SCT) can be applied together as effective methods of modeling the system dynamics and designing supervisory controllers to precisely sequence the many processes that such systems might involve. Classical approaches to supervisory controller design tend to result in complex controller structures that are difficult to implement, maintain, and upgrade. In this paper, a new approach to designing supervisory controllers for automated laboratory systems is introduced. This new approach uses a modular controller structure that is easier to implement, maintain, and upgrade, and deals with "state explosion" issues in a novel and efficient way.

  • A web application running on the Internet is causing many difficulties for a program developer, and it requires to process multiple sessions at the same time due to the occurrence of excessive traffic. Web applications should be able to process concurrent requests efficiently and in real time. Node.js is a single-threaded server-side JavaScript environment implemented in C and C ++ as one of the latest frameworks to implement event models across the entire stack. Nodes implement JavaScript quickly and robust to achieve the best performance using a JavaScript V8 engine developed by Google. In this paper, it will be explained the operation principle of Node.js, which is a lightweight real-time web server that can be implemented in JavaScript for real-time responsive web applications. In addition, this application was practically implemented through automatic alignment system for group scheduling to demonstrate event-based real-time response web processing.

  • In this study, Fire Dynamic Simulator (FDS) has been improved with the implementation of marker particles. Convectional FDS is able to implement only two curved geometries, namely, circular cylinders and spheres. The introduction of marker particles made it possible to implement arbitrarily curved objects. Moreover, an algorithm that extracts the marker particle information from a model designed by AutoCAD was developed. With the present implementation, applicability of FDS is greatly enhanced, beneficial to both academia and industry.

  • A steel pallet to carry lighter logistic articles is developed based on the DFSS(design for Six Sigma) methodology. Combining the conventional DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) methodology with that of VE(Value Engineering) is the novel feature of this paper to achieve maximum cost reduction. In this paper, systematical steps to achieve the required structural spec's are presented by conventional DMEDI(Define-Measure-Explore-Develop-Implement) process. To imply the target costing, evaluation of functions consisting of the pallet has been performed by value methodology. Then best design concept is selected in the Explore step, following structural optimization utilizing FEM. Finally the performance of prototype is investigated by pilot test in the Implement step. The developed steel pallet is being commercialized in the fields of automated ware house.
