With the increase of elderly people, educators have begun designing experiences to prepare students to work with elderly group. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the knowledge and attitude of students majoring in food and nutrition for the elderly and their intentions to provide services for the elderly. The knowledge level of the students was in a medium range, and no relationship was found between knowledge and attitudes using Pearson correlation. The knowledge did not significantly differ across gender and academic level when compared using t-test and ANOVA, but knowledge level was significantly different based on residential experiences with elderly over 65 years of age (p < 0.05). Students had neutral attitudes toward working with elderly employees and working for elderly. Students had positive intentions to work with elderly employees, seek employment in an organization for elderly clients/customers, and seek opportunities for positive social interaction with the elderly. However, students do not have positive work preference with elderly employees. As a result of multiple regression analysis, it was found that knowledge was not a predictor of intentions to provide services to the elderly. However, attitudes toward working with elderly employees, attitudes toward elderly, residential experiences with elderly > 65 years have been predicted the intentions to work with elderly employees. Attitudes working with elderly employees and attitudes toward elderly influenced the intentions to work in the organizations to provide services to elderly. This study can be identified the need for additional didactic preparation and experiences to prepare students to work with elder aging population.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence and effects of perceived organizational support on the organizational citizenship on the basis of perception of the importance of organizational support. In modern society, the perception of perceived organizational support and the manufacturing industry as well have been becoming more important, and, if, besides the manufacturing industry, the interest in the support to and the welfare of the employees could be taken in the service and distribution industries, too, the employees come to realize the organizational support, which causes them to be immersed in their duties and show more organizational citizenship for their organizations and colleagues. Accordingly, in order to enhance the employees' outcome, the organizations should support their employees and provide help more, letting the employees perceive the support of the organization more actively. Consequently, it can be said that the perceived organizational support is able to strengthen the employees' outcome and motivate the organizational citizenship as well.

This study examined the meaning of employees' university-graduate school experiences for job conversion. For it, date was collected and analyzed by in-depth interview for 7 employees with university-graduate school experiences from Jun. to Doc. 2018. As a result, 3 great ranges and 8 sub-factors of the meaning of employees' university-graduate school experience for job conversion. were drawn. First is the change of value changing new view and recognition. Second is confidence improvement, motivation, and psychological change recovering interests and aptitudes. Third is changes of actual life that obtain pleasure of leaning, formation of personal network, and family supports. From the above results, employees' university-graduate school experience may let them challenge new works with confidence and be analyzed as appearance of identity finding the work suitable for their aptitude and living a subjective life.

The active engagement of the organization employees in the quality management activities of the construction project promotes the achievement of successful management performance. This study seeks to find a mechanism to promote employee engagement. The preceding factors that promote employee engagement through previous research are employee rewards system and satisfaction. In order to verify the proposed research model, sample data of 232 construction project employees were collected and analyzed through a structural equation model. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that all the proposed variables had a significant effect on the employee engagement and the moderate effect according to the employee's position and labor contract. The results of this study are expected to provide useful theoretical and practical implications for researchers and managers seeking ways to promote the engagement of organization employees from a broader perspective for the activation of quality management activities of construction companies.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of each of the two technology acceptance factors(employees' attitude toward smart factory technology, and ease of smart factory technology use) on the introduction level of each of the three smart factory technologies (manufacturing big data technology, automation technology, and supply chain integration technology), and in turn, the effect of each of the three smart factory technologies on manufacturing performance. This study employed PLS statistics software package to empirically validate a structural equation model with survey data from 100 domestic small-and medium-sized manufacturing firms (SMMFs). The analysis results revealed the followings. First, it is founded that employees' attitude toward smart factory technology influenced all of the three smart factory technology introduction levels in a positive manner. In particular, SMMFs of which employees had more favorable attitude toward smart factory technology tended to increase introduction levels of both automation technology and supply chain integration technology more than in the case of manufacturing big data technology. Second, ease of smart factory technology use also had a positive impact on each of the three smart factory technology introduction levels, respectively. A noteworthy finding is this : SMMFs which perceived smart factory technology as easier to use would like to elevate the introduction level of manufacturing big data technology more than in the cases of either automation technology or supply chain integration technology. Third, smart factory technologies such as automation technology and supply chain integration technology had affirmative impacts on manufacturing performance of SMMFs. These results shed some valuable insights on the introduction of smart factory technology : The success of smart factory heavily depends on organization-and people-related factors such as employees' attitude toward smart factory technology and employees' perceived ease of smart factory technology use.
This study examined the effects of the firm characteristics of the manufacturing industry on the female employment ratio. Three hypotheses regarding female employment ratio, were tested for 5,729 firms that could use financial data among the firms listed on the KOSPI from 2011 to 2019, in terms firm size, listing period, and foreign ownership. Follwing the analyses, three hypotheses were mostly adopted. It was found that as the size firm and foreign ownership ratio increased, the female employment ratio increased in the number of regular and permanent contract employees, fixed-term employees, and total employees. As for the listing period, the higher the value, the lower the female employment ratio in the number of regular and permanent contract employees, fixed-term employees, and total employees. These research results may be used as basic data for gender equal employment policies such as Affirmative Atcion for Gender Equal Employment.
Purpose - Previous studies about corporate image generally explore how corporate image affects a company's effectiveness from the consumer view. However this study attempts to explore the impacts of corporate image (reliability, friendly, corporate social responsibility, and innovation) on employees' altruistic behaviors in the franchise industry context. This study also examine whether organizational trust and affective commitment play a mediating role in the relationship between corporate image and employees' altruistic behaviors. The authors developed several hypotheses to achieve these purposes. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from employees in food-service franchise companies located in Seoul, Korea. Among a total of 363 questionnaires distributed, 294(response rate of 81%) questionnaires were returned. After excluding 18 invalid respondent questionnaires, 276 valid questionnaires(response rate of 76%) were coded and analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 21 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The findings of the study are as follows: First, friendly, CSR, and innovation had positive effects on organizational trust, but reliability did not have a significant effect on organizational trust. Second, reliability and friendly of corporate image had positive effects on affective commitment, but CSR and innovation did have a significant effect on affective commitment. Third, organizational trust and affective commitment had positive effects on employees' altruistic behaviors. Conclusions - The aim of this study is to investigate the franchise corporate image as a significant influencing factor of employees' altruistic behaviors. The data were collected from only employees from franchising companies. The findings might vary from position to position. Future studies need to collect and compare data from managers. Future studies need to consider other variables that affect employees' altruistic behaviors. For example, leadership and market orientation might influence employees' attitude and behaviors. Also, future research should include other variables and it may have limitations in sample representative because of sampling franchise corporate in Seoul. Future studies will include franchise corporate all over the country. Future studies can also consider other variables (e.g., job performance and turnover intentions) to measure employee performance at the level of individuals and identify the impact of employee performance on business performance at the level of corporate.
The goal of this study is to analyze the effect of the working environment of elderly care facility employees on the care service quality and the mediation effect of social support. The results of the research were as follows: First, it has been confirmed that a high level of average monthly salary and the salary satisfaction theref have a positive correlation with an improvement in care service quality in the working environment variables of elderly care facility employees. Second, it has been confirmed that the average monthly salary and the salary satisfaction level among the working environment variables of elderly care facility employees have a positive correlation on the parameter of social support. Third, a partial mediation effect of social support has been confirmed in the effect that average monthly salary and the salary satisfaction level variables have on the quality of care service in the working environment of elderly care facility employees. Thus, this study actively reflects the social situation of an aged society and uses "Self-checking Management Measures" capable of suggesting the management direction for the elderly care facility to measure its service quality and proposes a method to improve the working environment of the elderly care facility employees.
School foodservice employees are involved with every aspect of ensuring that high quality meals are prepared and they influence student satisfaction. The objective of this study was to identify whether job satisfaction of cooks is affected by their relationships with management. Survey forms that were developed for foodservice dietitians and employees were interviewed. Questionnaires to measure job satisfaction were distributed to 30 schools in the Gyeonggi province and completed by 30 dietitians and 323 cooks. Foodservice cooks' job satisfaction was evaluated by measuring attitudes towards aspects of their job using the modified Smith method(1969). All items in the scales were coded by 4 Likert scale(1: nerver satisfied, 4: very satisfied), then grouped by using factor analyses. Statistical methods used in this study were a $x^2$-test, t-test with SPSS software(version 12.0). The study results were as follows; 1) The demographic data showed that 65.3% of respondents were in their 40s, 96% were married, 68.8% were high school graduates, and 93.5% were contracted employees. Regarding overall experience in their current workplace, 27.9% had been in their position over 5 years and 25.7% said less than 2 years. 2) Most of the school lunches was served in the classroom(73.3%). The cook working was rotated among the employees(90%). Most employees did not use a day's leave of absence per month because they were averse to burdening their coworkers. 3) There were no significant differences in job satisfaction between the cooks' self-evaluation scores(2.92) and those of the dietitians(2.92). Among the factors influencing job satisfaction, dietitians(2.10) perceived that cooks(1.99) were more satisfied with their salaries than was actually the case. The cooks(3.19) rated their level of work satisfaction higher than the dietitians(3.03) perceived it to be. Employees rated their relationship satisfaction as 3.50, but dietitians on the other hand rated it 3.37. Most of the cook respondents want a higher salary and a some kind of employment guarantee. This study provides foodservice managers information useful for design positions that will increase productivity. Future study is needed to determine the factors that will improve job satisfaction and satisfy the employees' needs, which in turn will improve school food service quality.

A survey was performed on employees of a small and medium-sized company how had participated in an education & training program, in order to identify the relationship between the enterprise revitalize and its characteristics, and to know how the program and its satisfaction was related with each other. The results showed that education & training program characteristics had influence on the enterprise revitalize and then the latter made effect on its satisfaction. It is suggested that a plan should be developed to promote self-improvement needs of employees when an education & training program is to be made, and by changing the state of facility or training conditions, the efficiency of the program should also be pursued. In addition, it is imperative for the participants to have strong motivation for self-improvement in the program, and it seems that the effectiveness of the program is expected to work in accordance with the will of the company as well as its growth and developmental standards.
