정보기술 루틴의 기업성과에 대한 영향 (An Impact of IT Routines on Firm Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정보기술 루틴이 기업 성과에 미치는 메커니즘을 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 기업성과, 비즈니스 프로세스 성과, 정보기술 인프라스트럭쳐 유연성, 정보기술 인력의 지식, 정보기술 루틴 등으로 구성되는 연구 모델을 제안한다. 연구 모델에서 정보기술 루틴은 다른 정보기술 능력들 (정보기술 인프라스트럭쳐 유연성, 정보기술 인력의 지식)에 일차적으로 영향을 미치고, 이어서 비즈니스 프로세스 성과에 영향을 통해 궁극적으로 기업성과에 간접적으로 영향을 미친다. 연구 모델은 243개의 기업 수준 데이터에 기반하여 검토되었는데, 분석도구로는 PLS를 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 연구 모델에서 제안된 모든 경로가 통계적으로 의미 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 교통시설사업의 기본계획에 지리정보시스템(GIS)을 활용한 공간분석(spatial analysis)을 이용하여 교통효율성과 환경영향, 장래 국토계획의 목표, 도시영향 그리고 건설가능성 및 경제성을 통합하여 고려할 수 있는 노선선정의 방법론을 개발하기위하여 시도되었다. 본 논문은 총 4장으로 구성되어 있으며 1 장 서론에서는 연구의 배경, 목적 그리고 연구범위와 방법을 정립하였으며, 2장에서는 교통시설사업의 노선선정 방법론의 개발을 위한 목표설정과 방법론의 수행과정을 설명하였다. 3장에서는 개발된 방법론을 독일의노이스(Neuss)와 그로벤브로히(Grenvenbroich)간의 도로건성을 위한 노선선정 프로젝트에 적용하였으며 본 방법론의 평가와 이용가능성을 결론으로 제시하였다.

일제강점기 도시기반시설의 설치를 통해 본 강경의 도시화 과정 (Modern Urbanization Process of Ganggyeong during the Japanese Colonial Period, focused on Installation of Urban Infrastructure)

  • Ganggyeong, a city which is located at riverside of Geum River, played a role to connect the inland cities and the coastal cities through the Geum river waterway. In Chosun dynasty, Ganggyeong was one of the three major markets in Korea, and at the same time, it was one of the two river docks in Korea. However, after the railway was installed in Korea, railroad was more important than waterway in transporting logistics and in 1911 Honam railroad and Ganggyeong railway station was installed. Thus it was necessary to reorganize urban structure of Ganggyeong city from the traditional river-dock city to modern railroad city. In addition, urban infrastructure to prevent flood damage was needed because Ganggyeong suffered from floods and water shortages every year. Therefore, between 1910s and 1930s large-scale social infrastructures including road, water and sewage system, river bank, floodgate was constructed not only to revitalize the declining city but also to prevent flood damage and water shortages that hinder urban development. The installation of urban infrastructure has enabled the urban expansion and development of Ganggyeong city, and it is still served as a basic urban structure.

효율적인 학습 지원을 위한 대학에서의 서비스 데스크 구축 방안 (Establishing of the Service Desk for Efficient Learning Support at the Universities)

  • 대학에서의 연구, 학습, 그리고 행정 업무 처리가 현재 대부분 컴퓨터를 통하여 이루어진다. 따라서 대학에서의 IT 하부구조와 대학정보시스템은 점차 복잡해져 가고 있다. 그러나 정보 시스템을 사용함에 있어서 문제가 생겼을 때, 헬프 데스크나 전산센터 등이 운영된다 하더라도 사용자가 빠른 시간 내에 해결책을 얻기가 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) 기반의 서비스 데스크를 대학에 구축하는 방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 방안은 대학의 전산 기술지원 서비스의 개선을 통해 대학에서 전산 관련 장애가 발생하였을 때 교수학습자원의 활용 및 업무 등에 난관을 겪지 않고 빠르게 대처할 수 있는 시스템 구축에 사용될 수 있다.

An Assessment of ICT Infrastructure, Deployment and Applications in the Science and Technology (S&T) Research Institutions in Ghana

  • The paper discusses the ICT infrastructure as far as the availability of (computers, local or wide area networks, Internet connectivity and its reliability, size of the bandwidth and its optimization, etc.) in the S&T research institution. It also examined the profile of the research scientists and looked at the type of ICT infrastructure that is available for their use as well as the reliability of the Internet connectivity within these research institutions. It looked at the broadband capacities of the research institutions and the ICT capabilities in respect of the technical and managerial support back-up that are available to the research institutions. The study used the survey research method with a questionnaire as well as personal observation to gather the data. From the data gathered, it was realized that the internet connectivity and the size of the bandwidth that the R&D institutions subscribed to differed significantly. Again, the extent to which the research scientists were able to access the internet in their respective institutions depended on the quality of the local network in place. Generally, the investments in ICT were made for different management objectives, and these were meant to facilitate the generation of new knowledge as well as make measurable improvements in R&D activities.

시뮬레이션을 이용한 누적 RSSI 신호 기반의 항법 기술 성능 분석 (Analysis of Localization Technology Performance Based on Accumulated RSSI Signal Using Simulation)

  • Reliable and precise indoor localization is crucial for personal navigation, emergency rescue, and monitoring workers indoors. To use this technology in different applications, it is important to make it less dependent on infrastructure and to keep the error as small as possible. Fingerprinting stands out as a popular choice for indoor positioning because it leverages existing infrastructure and works with just a smartphone. However, its accuracy heavily relies on the quality of that infrastructure. For instance, having too few access points or beacons can greatly reduce its effectiveness. To reduce dependence on RF infrastructure, we have developed surface correlation (SC) using accumulated Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) signals This approach constructs a user mask for radio map comparisons using an accumulated RSSI vector and the trajectory of the user, which is estimated through PDR. The location with the highest correlation is considered as the user's position after comparison. Through a simulation, the performance of short RSSI vector-based technology and SC is analyzed, and future directions for the development of SC are discussed.

  • The use of network planning models and tools is essential for effective KII (Korea Information Infrastructure) planning and analysis in that it will significantly reduce the risk and uncertainty embeded in the development and the provision of future broadband services. The purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical framework and a computer tool for modeling the various aspects of the KII topology and architecture and evaluating the techno-economic feasibility of the KII implementation strategy.

The Impact of Technology Adoption on Organizational Productivity

  • Purpose: This research investigates the impact of technology adoption on organisation productivity. The framework has three independent variables viz. technological change, information technology (IT) infrastructure, and IT knowledge management and one dependent variable as organisational productivity. Research design, data and methodology: An explanatory research design with a quantitative research method was employed, and data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire using online as well as an offline survey. The sample consisted of 300 IT managers and senior-level executives (production as well as service team) in leading IT companies in Malaysia selected using snowball sampling. Normality and reliability assessment was performed in the first stage utilising SPSS 22, and Confirmatory Factory Analysis (CFA) was performed with maximum likelihood estimation to assess the internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Finally, Structural Equation Model (SEM) and path analysis are conducted using AMOS 22. Results: The research findings demonstrated that technological change and IT infrastructure positively and significantly impact the organisation's productivity while IT knowledge management has significant but negative impact on organizational productivity of IT companies in Malaysia. Conclusion: The research concludes that all three factors plays important role in deciding organizational producvity. Recommendations, implications, limitations and future research avenues are discussed.

콜센터에서 정보기술과 고객지식을 이용한 고객서비스 프로세스 향상 : 컴퓨터 자기효능감의 조절역할 (Enhancing the Customer Service Process through Information Technologies and Customer Knowledge in Call Centers : The Moderating Role of Computer Self-Efficacy)

  • Call center service is enabled by the use of a firm's various information technologies (IT) and accumulated knowledge. IT and knowledge resources have been considered a fundamental infrastructure for developing a firm's business capabilities. Recognizing this, this study examines whether a firm's IT and customer knowledge resources enhance its customer service process capability and thereby contribute to creating superior customer service, at the level of customer service representatives (CSRs). That is, constructs in this study were measured on a basis of CSRs' perception. Moreover, this study verifies the moderating role of CSRs' computer self-efficacy on the relationships between IT and customer knowledge resources and customer service process capability. To test the proposed hypotheses, this study conducted partial least squares (PLS) analysis with a total of 234 data which were collected on CSRs working at four call centers. The key findings are as follows: first, IT infrastructure integration and customer knowledge integration are positively associated with customer service process capability. Second, customer service process capability is a key determinant of customer service performance. Finally, CSRs' computer self-efficacy has a moderating effect on the relationship between IT infrastructure integration and customer service process capability. The details of the findings and implications are presented.

위협모델링을 이용한 전기차 충전 인프라의 보안요구사항에 대한 연구 (A Study on Security Requirements of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Using Threat Modeling)

  • 전기차 충전 인프라에서는 충전 및 결제 데이터를 포함하여 다양한 데이터가 전송되기 때문에 안전한 전기차 충전 인프라를 구축하기 위해서는 이에 대한 보안 연구가 요구된다. 그렇지만 기존에 진행된 연구들은 전기차 충전을 위한 충전 인프라 보다는 전력 계통 인프라와 같은 스마트 그리드 관련 보안 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 또한 충전 인프라 관련 연구는 아직 부족한 현실이며, 위협모델링과 같은 체계적인 방법론을 이용한 연구는 아직 진행되고 있지 않다. 따라서 안전한 전기차 충전 인프라의 구축을 위해 위협모델링을 적용하여 보안 위협을 식별하고 보안요구사항을 체계적으로 분석하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 Data Flow Diagram, STRIDE, Attack Tree를 활용한 위협모델링을 이용하여 충전 인프라에서 발생 가능한 위협을 정확히 식별하고 객관적인 보안요구사항을 도출하여 전기차 충전 인프라를 분석한다.
