This paper tries to closely look at compliance knowledge relatedness and IT relatedness based on Tanriverdi's 'relatedness' concept. Also, this paper's main focus lies on how knowledge relatedness and IT relatedness influence compliance performance through compliance knowledge exploitation. The present study conducted a full-scale survey and finalized questionnaire was sent to compliance managers of 187 Korean multi-business firms. This study found (1) the impact of compliance knowledge relatedness on compliance performance, (2) the mediating role of knowledge exploitation on the relationship between compliance knowledge relatedness and compliance performance, and (3) the interaction effect of IT relatedness and compliance knowledge relatedness on knowledge exploitation. This paper contributes to both academic and business world by widening applicability of theories and providing guidelines conducive to improved compliance performance of corporations.
Purpose Compliance support system (CSS) aims to support employees' voluntary compliance activities, however, it requires a different approach from the acceptance of other general information systems. In other words, the user's concern that his/her compliance activities recorded in the system are monitored may hinder the active use of the system. In this regard, we set up a research model to investigate the factors that affect the intention to use CSS, by including perceived usefulness, compliance commitment, and surveillance concern. Design/methodology/approach A questionnaire survey was conducted for the employees of a domestic oil-company, who operates their own CSS. Based on the 865 data collected, a structural model analysis using PLS was conducted. As a result, all four hypotheses were accepted. It was found that perceived usefulness of CSS has a positive effect on the intention to use CSS. Compliance commitment has a positive effect both on perceived usefulness and intention to use CSS. In contrast, surveillance concern of one's non-compliance recorded in the CSS was shown to have a negative effect on the relationship between compliance commitment and perceived usefulness. Findings This study has academic implications in that it extends the viewpoint of the existing technology acceptance mechanism by examining the two aspects, i.e., compliance commitment and surveillance concern. This study may also provide practical directions to strengthen the use of the active compliance support system by the employees.

Objectives : This study collected sleep information by wearable device in the Korean medicine Daejeon citizen cohort (KDCC). It was measured based on the sleep record information measured by wearing a Fitbit, and the possibility of clinical use was examined for compliance with objective sleep collection. Based on compliance, the possibility of clinical use was examined. Methods : After surveying personal information and PSQI(Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), sleep information was collected by Fitbit for 14 days. Compliance was measured based on sleep record information by Fitbit. Compliance was analyzed by sex, age, BMI(Body Mass Index), and sleep group(deep/poor). Results : The number of participants was 730, and the compliance was 94.3%, and the compliance group was 675(92.5%). The age of the participants varied from 30 to 60 years old, and the average age was 46±6.7 years. There were 218 males and 512 females. Young people have high compliance. Males are more compliance than females. As the BMI score decreased in the 30s, the compliance was higher. The underweight group in all age groups had 100 compliance. The underweight group was all female. The low compliance groups were that 30 years males (obesity level2), 50 years females (overweight group), and 50 years females (obesity level2). There was no significant difference in compliance between deep sleep group and poor sleep group. In deep sleep group, females showed higher compliance. In poor sleep group, males showed higher compliance. The average duration of Fitbit usage among participants was 20.1 days. The compliant group wore the device for an average of 21.3 days, while the non-compliant group wore it for only 5.2 days. Of the compliant group, 86.9% (73.8% of all participants) continued to wear the Fitbit after the recommended 14-day period, and 50.8% wore it for more than 20 days. Conclusions : This study showed the possibility of adaptation for wearing a Fitbit for collecting objective sleep information. It is judged that the compliance is high because it was worn for more than 13.2 days out of the 14 days required. It is considered meaningful because the compliance was measured based on the sleep information by Fitbit, not the questionnaire. As the data on objective sleep time is collected automatically, we believe that the burden on participants after the study period is not significant for a certain period. Compliance may be even higher for cohorts related to illnesses and with doctor's orders, rather than for the general population.
Recently, increasing security threats are not only interfering with business continuity of companies but they are al so causing serious problems on social and national levels. As violation of intellectual property rights increases due to growing competition between different companies and countries, companies are now required to follow various IT compliance regulations, under relevant legal obligations. This study proposed a model of convergence security compliance management by using machine learning, in order to help companies actively utilize IT compliance.
This study examined preschoolers' compliance and noncompliance as it related to maternal behavior, child gender and age, and social context. The subjects were 213 preschool children in Seoul. Data were collected via questionnaires reported by mothers and teachers. The results of correlation analysis and a series of repeated measures ANOVA revealed that mothers' coercive parenting was associated with lower committed compliance and ignorant noncompliance. It was also found that the 5-year-olds studies showed higher committed compliance in moral situations whereas the 6-year-olds showed higher situational compliance in conventional situations. Noncompliance was more common among the 5-year-olds than the 6-year-olds. It was also found that girls exhibited higher compliance than boys in both moral and conventional contexts. The results were discussed in terms of a developmental perspective.

In the dynamic analysis model of full vehicles, the ball joint is usually modeled as an ideal joint. Searching a ball joint, the engineering plastic covers metal and the plastic has little compliance. It is expected that the compliance will physically have an influence on load transfer. This thesis presents a dynamic model considering the compliance of a ball joint, and studies an influence related to load transfer. It models the compliance of a ball joint to 3 directional spring. Likewise, it researches the load of a ball joint via a four-post simulation of a full vehicle, comparing with a model considered compliant and the model of an ideal joint. As a result, the difference between the compliance and the ideal joint model was determined. For this reasons, to conduct precision load prediction for durability analysis, dynamic analysis considering the compliance of bali joint should be required.

In this study, we try to estimate vascular compliance for management vascular disease. Because It is known the vascular compliance represents the state of the blood vessels. In general, the vascular compliance is estimated using an acceleration photoplethymogram from measured by photoplethymogram-based. The acceleration photoplethymogram is come from second derivative of photoplethymogram. By using the acceleration photoplethymogram, we can estimating vascular compliance, vascular age, vascular state. In this study, for measuring acceleration photoplethymogram we have developed a measurement device having analog filters. It has the advantage of miniaturization, low-power because it is simpler than digital filters. Using the developed device, we have estimated vascular compliance and tested the reliability of our device compare with conventional device having digital filters. As a result.
Increasing occupational cerebrovascular & cardiovascular disease, it becomes the most serious problem in the occupational health management. Hypertension is the most important risk factor of cerebrovascular & cardiovascular disease. Although treatment for hypertension has the priority, hypertension has not been managed systematically at the worksite. The objectives of this study were to investigate the actual situation of its treatment, figure out what factors can affect compliance for hypertension treatment and analyze the relations between compliance and employment status. Subjects were 28 workers who have been diagnosed as hypertension at periodic health examination, 20 workers who have been managed for hypertension at dispensary and 22 workers who were diagnosed during the study periods. The results of the study were as follows; 1. More women have been hired as part time workers and had lower education background and income than the full time workers. 2. Among the factors that have been known to affect the treatment compliance, part time workers had less supports from the company than full time workers. 3. We got the comparison of difference between compliance and variables that the factor grade of cure promotion and average ages are high in high compliance. In conclusion there were not the difference of compliance by employment status. But it was hard to rule out the selection vias because the sample size was so small. So it seems difficult to generalized the conclusion that employment status doesn't affect the treatment compliance.
Compared to other variables being considered in therapeutics, patient compliance has long been given minor attention although it affects every aspect of medical care; Limited methodology of compliance measurement, in particular, has hampered major progress in research, and pre-conceptions have been reiterated. However, there is a recent surge in interest derived from new data revealed by reliable methods, i.g. continuous medication (compliance) monitoring. The visualization of dynamics in drug regimen compliance over time offers unique opportunities, both to scientific drug evaluation and therapeutics in medical practice. New perspectives related to the descriptive and explanatory side of the problem are outlined by giving examples from various therapeutic fields.
In this work, we propose a planar three degree-of-freedom parallel mechanism as another type of assembly device which utilized joint compliances. These joint compliances can be adjusted either by properly replacing the joint compliances or by actively controlling stiffness at joints, in order to generate the desired operational compliance characteristics at RCC point, The operational compliance matrix for this mechanism is explicitly obtained by symbolic manipulation and its operational compliance characteristics are examined, it is found that the RCC point exists at the center of the workspace when the mechanism maintains symmetric configurations. Compliance characteristic and its sensitivity of this mechanism is analyzed with respect to the magnitude of the diagonal compliance components and two different matrix norms measuring compliance sensitivity. It is expected that the analysis results provide the designer with a helpful information to determine a set of optimal parameters of this RCC mechanism.
