This study made of centrally actual application in general arts classes based on movie in university. Especially, I analyzed the activities of the class with 'Untouchable: 1% friendship' among 6 films. The objects of this study are 44 students of D university in Busan Metropolitan City who take 'creative fusion from movie' general arts class which opened first semester in 2016. In this study, students were able to watch movies through the creative class, which was out of the traditional classroom method, and after 15 hours of learning the quiz online, they conducted 15 weeks as a teaching method to perform tasks, presentations, experiments, and experiences in regular class time. The results of this study are as follows. 'It is a general arts class that makes movements live,' 'It is a general arts class that shows movies from various perspectives,' and 'It is a general arts class that makes me know.' This suggests that the educational medium, which is easily accessible in everyday life, and the general arts class, which is active in the space outside the framework, are perceived as stimulating curiosity and adding fun to college students.

Since the 2000s, Korean society has been transitioning into a multicultural society with a sharp increase in the influx of various non-Koreans including immigrant workers, immigrant spouses, international students, and refugees. As a result, Korea, which had maintained religious peace and coexistence as a multi-religious society, is showing signs of increased risks of social problems such as the surfacing of conflicts between religions. Religion can contribute to the integration and safety of communities in the process of becoming a multicultural society, but at the same time, it requires discussion from an educational perspective because of its ambivalence in potentially causing conflict within communities. Considering that one of the main functions of religion is social integration, religious education is required for the stable settlement of multicultural societies. In recognition of this, discussion regarding a new perspective on religious education is needed to respond to religious diversity and to understand the current society and the means of becoming a global citizen. This new discussion would be a 'general religious education' model that provides an education covering various religious and non-religious worldviews in order to cultivate 'religious literacy.' However, in a multicultural society, while general religious education may be useful in reducing prejudice and discrimination among students in an integrated environment, it should also be recognized that a 'special religious education' would be needed to acknowledge the unique values of each human group. This would be the most effective approach to multiculturalism. Therefore, this study proposes a form of 'cooperative religious education,' which combines general religious education and special religious education as a direction for religious education. In providing readers with background context, this study will review Korean religious policies and religious education, and then present realistic methods that can be implemented in schools.

This study applied effective playful learning to increase the learning motivation of non-CS major students to help them achieve learning and to successfully operate online SW liberal arts classes for 560 students. As a result of analyzing the students' reflection journals, most of the students accepted the 'white radish' of dialect names as fun playful learning in the process of learning local variables and global variables. And they were surprised and amazed at discovering unexpected contents in our SW class. It was found that they experienced delight in learning, learning-flow, confidence, and intrinsic motivation. In the final term exam at the end of the semester, it was confirmed that the correct rate of 92% for questions related to local and global variables was higher than the average rate of other questions' correctness of 67.1%.

As society changes rapidly, the role and status of general education has produced many changes, and accordingly, it is forming a close relationship with various social and cultural environments around the school. Especially, the direction in which general education should proceed and the development of regional-linked general education models have been actively studied at a time when the relationship between local regions and universities is getting strong. In this study, we have provided significant policy implications related to the development and application of future university-local cooperation models by developing a subject of community service activities based learning (CSAL) to get closer to community service and by analyzing actual educational cases and applying them to real community service organizations. In addition, we closely collaborated with local volunteer organizations operated by this local government system to connect with local community service, and through this, we reviewed actual cooperative classes with a local university and local volunteer organizations for the class curriculum, and developed a model to activate the university-local educational ecosystem.

Critical thinking ability based on a sound sense of logic is essential for analyzing a given engineering design problem and assessing it to arrive at the most plausible conclusion. Engineering design classes require students to organize their engineering design experiences through reports, and engineering design reports require detailed specifications of their tasks at each stage. Given the nature of these curriculums, design classes provide writing courses focusing on science and engineering within specialized fields, but there still lies many obstacles for communication education that embraces both general education and major subjects. This study proposes a specified step-by-step writing model for engineering design reports that encompasses critical thinking for the objective of systemizing design experiences from engineering design report writing. For the purpose of the study, the concepts and relationship between critical thinking and creative problem solving have been examined, followed by a proposal of application methods for critical thinking criteria and elements from a case example on engineering design. Furthermore, the study proposes a critical thinking-based assessment rubric for logical decision making at each stage of engineering design as well as a resulting model for engineering design report writing.

Humanity faces the fourth industrial revolution, a time of technological revolution by the collaboration of various industries including the fields of artificial intelligence(AI) and big data. Many countries are focused on fostering AI talent to prevail in the coming technological revolution. While Korea also provides some strategies to enhance the cultivation of AI talent, it is still difficult for Korean undergraduate students to get involved in AI studies. Through on the implementation of 'Big data analysis based AI education', which allows an easier approach to AI education, this paper examined the changes in the attitudes of undergraduate students regarding general AI education. 'Big data analysis based AI education' was provided at undergraduate level for 5.5 weeks (15 hours). The attitudes of undergraduate students were analyzed by pre-postmortem. The results showed there was a significant improvement in confidence and self-directed in regard to receiving AI education. With these results, further active research to develop basic AI education that also increases confidence and self-initiative can be expected.

In order to provide basic data necessary for developing a curriculum to enhance SW education for elementary school teacher students, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 1,260 students at G National University of Education. The results are summarized as follows. First, it is necessary to improve class time of SW education for the college students and revise the SW curriculum to improve SW education capacity for teacher students. Second, in the liberal arts course, it is necessary to develop the teaching and learning materials and the textbooks using various software. Third, in the major course, the Subject Pedagogy programs should be expanded rather than the subject content programs. Fourth, in the specialization course, the programming language education focusing on the Entry and EPL should be strengthened so that it can be linked with the elementary school curriculum. In addition, it is necessary to expand the choice of subjects for the students by reducing the number of required courses and increasing the number of elective courses.

Most universities have been concerned about Liberal Education; whether is it on universal truth, or on training job-specialists? In consequence, the curricula have been reformed and promoted diversely. In this aspect, has been developed as convergence education. I selected two easy and short texts and tried to make the students practice and memorize the dialogues as many as possible. At the end of the class, the students presented given assignments, with theatrical performance. This study carried out the research of students' presentation and theatrical performances on the basis of group study, together with a survey of the results of questionnaires and lecture evaluation. Therefore it was a exploratory study to check out significance of variables through the correlation analysis. The students' questionnaires showed the improvement of their English ability, together with their knowledge about literature and drama, cultivating humanities through the theatrical performance. It may be said that has achieved multi-functional effects of English class converged literature, theatre and humanities even for one semester.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of teaching style of liberal arts physical education professors to class satisfaction, Class flow and physical education attitude of liberal arts students. A study was conducted on a total of 221 liberal arts students. For the collected data, a confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis (Cronbach' α) for the measurement tool were performed using the SPSS 26.0 and Amos 21.0 programs. And correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. The liberal arts physical education Professor's teaching stlye affects the student's class satisfaction (educational satisfaction, environmental satisfaction, psychosocial satisfaction, physical satisfaction), and students' class flow (class immersion, purpose experience, consciousness agreement, challenge, control, Integration). In addition, it has various effects on the student's attitude toward physical education(relationships, physical activity, active participation, health and physical fitness, positive emotions). Efforts to strengthen the competence of liberal arts physical education professors will be needed to revitalize the liberal arts physical education.

This study utilized the Delphi technique to derive results by gathering opinions from experts, analyzing the problems in university survival swimming education, and seeking improvement methods. The conclusions of this study revealed several issues in university survival swimming education. From the perspective of instructors, the lack of expertise and certification in survival swimming was identified as a problem. From a program standpoint, discrepancies between educational content and real-world applications led to decreased practicality. Regarding facilities, the absence of swimming pools within universities was highlighted as a major issue. Proposed solutions included mandatory completion of instructor certification courses to address instructor-related issues. For program improvements, conducting education in environments similar to real-world scenarios was suggested. In terms of facilities, there was a call for expanding swimming facilities within universities. It is anticipated that addressing the identified problems and implementing proposed solutions will lead to more systematic and professional education. Furthermore, it is believed that addressing changeability and hopefulness, and continuously improving based on them, will positively impact the establishment of societal safety consciousness and, ultimately, enhance awareness of water safety.
