  • We consider the problem of estimating the scale and shape parameters in the Weibull distribution based on censored samples. We propose the approximate maximum likelihood estimators (AMLEs) of the scale and shape parameters in the Weibull distribution based on Type-II censored samples. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error (MSE).

  • We consider the problem of estimating the scale parameter of the Weibull distribution based on multiply Type-II censord samples.   • This paper delves into an examination of both non-Bayesian and Bayesian estimation techniques for determining the Topp-leone inverse Weibull distribution parameters based on progressive Type-II censoring. The first approach employs expectation maximization (EM) algorithms to derive maximum likelihood estimates for these variables. Subsequently, Bayesian estimators are obtained by utilizing symmetric and asymmetric loss functions such as Squared error and Linex loss functions. The Markov chain Monte Carlo method is invoked to obtain these Bayesian estimates, solidifying their reliability in this framework.

  • We automated high-accuracy data processing routines for various near-real-time GPS applications. The automated system was based on UNIX, and it uses GIPSY-OASIS II and ultra-rapid orbits which is updated twice a day and provided online. The highest error in the estimated site position was 2 cm and 5 cm in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively. The mean 3-D position error about 2 cm.

  • In this Part II of the paper, we evaluated the fabrication error and dividing characteristics for the opticalfilters proposed in the Part I. Furthermore, we propose an integrated optical filter with a new function that can eliminate the fabdrication error. The fabrication method and filtering characteristics have been tested by experiments, thereby confirming the validity of the design theory.

  • The major electron transfer cofactors in photosystem II have been studied by pulsed EPR, pulsed electron electron double resonance (PELDOR) and laser excited spin polarized electron spin echo envelope modulation (ESEEM) methods, in non-oriented and oriented photosystem II membranes. Distances between radical pairs were determined trom the observed dipole interaction constants to be 27.3 A for P680-QA, 30 A, etc. with the error within 1 A. Angles between the distance vector and membrane normal was determined by orientation dependence of oriented membranes with the accuracy of 5˚ The results were compared with the recent structural data by X-ray analysis.

New approach for analysis of progressive Type-II censored data from the Pareto distribution

  • Pareto distribution is important to analyze data in actuarial sciences, reliability, finance, and climatology. In general, unknown parameters of the Pareto distribution are estimated based on the maximum likelihood method that may yield inadequate inference results for small sample sizes and high percent censored data. In this paper, a new approach based on the regression framework is proposed to estimate unknown parameters of the Pareto distribution under the progressive Type-II censoring scheme. The proposed method provides a new regression type estimator that employs the spacings of exponential progressive Type-II censored samples. In addition, the provided estimator is a consistent estimator with superior performance compared to maximum likelihood estimators in terms of the mean squared error and bias. The validity of the proposed method is assessed through Monte Carlo simulations and real data analysis.

  • In the study rainfall frequency analysis attemped the many specific property data record duration it is differance from occur to error-term and probability ditribution of concern manifest. error-term analysis of method are fact sample data using method in other hand it is not appear to be fault that sample data of number to be small random variates. Therefore, day-rainfall data: to randomicity consider of this study sample data to the Monte Carlo method by randomize after data recode duration of form was choice method which compared an assumed maternal distribution from splitting frequency analysis consequence. In the conclusion, frequency analysis of chuncheon region rainfall appeared samll RMSE to the Gamma II distribution. In the rainfall frequency analysis estimate RMSE using random variates great transform, RMSE is appear that return period increasing little by little RMSE incresed and data number incresing to RMSE decreseing.

  • Today, According to it widely used that third generation mobile networks service, WCDMA module development technology and its utilization is expanding increasingly and thus to IT Convergence industries is a trend that a lot of appears. This paper, OBD-II communications to bring a vehicle information use and data to an external server transfer and it was developed that vehicle status monitoring from other external devices can be system. From the various sensors inside a vehicle using the OBD-II connector read the information, after converting the user easier to see, WCDMA module using the car status monitoring system to transfer to an external data server was implemented. Developed to test the performance of the system using virtual's state vehicle simulator, which occurs in the real car that will generate the data. It was sent to the OBD-II connector to be occurred data, vehicle status monitoring system was confirmed that Data was received without error. In addition, When this data using WCDMA transmit data to an external server the same data was confirmed that it was received without error. In the future, this technology using the OBD-II vehicle IT convergence technology can be used in a wide range.
