유도탄 사출시 연소 생성물의 인체 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Safety Assessment for Combustion Products in the Exposure Human Bodies Rounding Missile Ejection)

  • The objective of this study is to safety assessment for human body on the guided missile combustion products. This study is to verify the safety assessment when operating the interior missile ejection take on verify the safety of the human body. During the missile ejection of combustion products, this study is analyzed combustion products. Result are accepted NIOSH and KOSHA of the safe guideline, and 6 exposure gas to the specified values 42% (CO), 22% ($CO_2$), not detected (others) are within minimal exposures criteria of the reference value respectively. Contribution of these results supported that interior missile ejection during combustion products may have been ensured human safely. Therefore, the future for improving the environmental safety of the shooting projectile steel plate round, dust collector, ventilation and other facilities is to improve environmental safety and efficient renovated design needed by target focused areas.

연소생성물제거 기술에 대한 연구 동향 분석 (Research trend analysis for Combustion products, Combustion products remove technique)

  • 2015 국민안전처 통계에 따르면, 화재 피해 중 연소생성물에 의한 피해가 가장 많은 사상자를 내는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 이유로 최근 연소생성물에 관한 연구는 국내외에서 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 국내에서는 연소 생성물이 사람에게 미치는 영향과, 화염의 전파속도에 미치는 영향이라는 관점에서 연구가 진행되고 있고, 해외에서는 연소생성물이 사람에게 미치는 독성 뿐만 아니라 offshore 대피소에 미치는 영향까지 연구되고 있다. 연소생성물은 독성을 가지고 있고, 시야를 가려 탈출을 방해하기 때문에 많은 연구에서 실험과 CFD시뮬레이션을 이용하여 연소 생성물 제거 설비의 최적화에 관한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연소를 통한 독성가스 발생 모델과, 그 가스의 제거 시설에 대한 연구 동향을 분석하여, 추후 연소생성물 연구의 기준이 될 것으로 판단된다.

Deep learning neural networks to decide whether to operate the 174K Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier's Gas Combustion Unit

  • Gas Combustion Unit (GCU) onboard liquefied natural gas carriers handles boil-off to stabilize tank pressure. There are many factors for LNG cargo operators to take into consideration to determine whether to use GCU or not. Gas consumption of main engine and re-liquefied gas through the Partial Re-Liquefaction System (PRS) are good examples of these factors. Human gas operators have decided the operation so far. In this paper, some deep learning neural network models were developed to provide human gas operators with a decision support system. The models consider various factors specially into GCU operation. A deep learning model with Sigmoid activation functions in input layer and hidden layers made the best performance among eight different deep learning models.

  • Objective: It makes a through study on the popularization and usefulness paln of Moxa Combustion, therefore popularizing practical use of that. Methods: It was based on the established treatises and books, in order to studying about the literature of Moxa Combustion Results & Conclusions: It makes a through study on the whole of Moxa Combustion, the results as follows. 1. We explained(illustrated) the origin, history, classification and mechanism(effect) of Moxa Combustion 2. The study of standardization plan of Moxa Combustion for popularization - The thermal stimulation of Moxa Combustion was decided the characteristic pattern of combustion temperature by moxa burning and that makes a measure to grasp the effective action of Moxa Combustion upon human body. Thereupon it is necessary to continue further studies by analysing the characteristic pattern of combustion temperature by moxa burning and there clinical effects in practice. 3. The usefulness of Moxa Combustion - The therapeutic effect of Moxa Combustion are hematopoiesis(increase the blood), analgesic function, increase the immunity, antioxidant activity, diuretic action, control of hormone(endocrine gland), supression of carcinogenesis, increase the self involution(natural healing), decrease of GOT/GPT, Glucose, Cholesterol level.

  • Human has faced in lack of fossil fuel and environmental crisis because of high population growth and development of industry. Hydrogen, unlimited amount and clean resource from water electrolysis, is remarkably known as the solution of recent energy crisis. One of the special characteristics of hydrogen is that a little amount of catalytic such as platinum and palladium makes nonflammable combustion, in other words catalyst combustion. Catalytic combustion fueled by hydrogen is environmentally friendly. This paper considers some comparisons of characteristic of catalytic combustion between a single layer of platinum catalyst, double layer of platinum and nickel catalysts and mixture of platinum and nickel catalysts. Some experiments of temperature distribution at different positions and characteristic of combustion in low temperature region were done in order to find an applicable possibility as a house-cooking burner.

  • The treatment of city life wastes is headache problem. Now, only small portion of burnable wastes is burnt at modern process incinerators, the other large portion is buried in the soil by landfill method. The burnable wastes will be increased year by year. The dioxin, the cancer-causing agent, produced by incineration of wastes influences harmful effect to national human health. The new idea of burnable wastes treatment is using the city life wastes as auxiliary fuel of fluidizing bed combustion boiler of large scale coal-fired power plant. The dioxin-free treatment of burnable wastes is sucessfully achieved by burning the wastes, in flyash storm at fluidizing bed combustion boiler.

Combustion Generated Fine Particles, Trace Metal Speciation, and Health Effects

  • Combustion generated fine particles, defined as those with aerodynamic diameters less than 2.5 m, have come under increased regulatory scrutiny because of suspected links to adverse human health effects. Transition metals are of particular interest due to the results of a number of studies that have shown cardiopulmonary damage associated with exposure to these elements and their presence in coal, residual fuel oils, sewage sludge, and other combusted fuels and wastes. This lecture will review results from multi-di sciplinary studies being conducted at EPA and elsewhere examining the physical, chemical, and toxicological characteristics of combustion generated particles. The research describes how collaborative work between combustion engineers and health scientists can provide insight on how combustion processes affect particle properties and subsequent health effects as measured by a combination of in-vitro and in-vivo studies using a variety of animal models. The focus of this lecture is on the interdisciplinary approach required to address the problem. Difficulties are discussed. Engineering aspects involved in this approach are described in detail. Physical and chemical characterizations are performed using a variety of analytical approaches including new techniques of x-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) spectroscopy and x-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) deconvolution of these spectra to gather metal speciation information.

  • Recent industrial society has human widely exposed to PAHs that are comming from the incomplete combustion of organic material as widespread environmental contaminants. Biological activities of PAHs are not known although PAHs are considered as carcinogens. PAHs in the mammalian cells affect CYP 1A1 gene expression as well as other phase II drug metabolizing enzymes as UDPGT, NMOR etc. The mechanism of action of PAHs has been studied extensively, however it is not clear how PAHs turn on CYPIAI in human breast cancer. 화재 및 호흡조건 변화에 따른 연기입자의 인체 호흡기 내 영역별 침착량 분석 (Study on the Regional Deposition of Smoke Particles in Human Respiratory Tract under the Variation of Fire and Breathing Conditions)

  • 화재 시 발생하는 연기는 가스상 물질과 이들을 흡착한 미연탄소 등의 입자상 물질로 이루어져 있다. 연기 중 가스상 물질의 흡입에 의한 인체피해는 대부분 단기적으로 이루어지는 데 비하여 입자상 물질의 흡입에 의한 피해는 가스상의 흡착상태에 따라서 상대적으로 장기적으로 이루어진다. 입자상 물질이 호흡기벽에 침착하여 호흡기 및 순환기 계통에 영향을 미치는 것과 관련하여, 침착되는 연기입자의 양과 호흡기 내 침착위치는 인체피해 산정의 중요한 요소인데, 이들은 연소조건에 영향을 받는 크기 및 농도 등 입자상태와 함께 호흡조건에 영향을 받는다. 이 연구에서는 화재 시 발생하는 연기의 흡입에 의한 인체피해 연구와 관련된 호흡기 내 연기입자 침착특성 파악을 위하여 연료종류, 연소조건 및 호흡조건에 따라 호흡기 내 영역별로 침착되는 연기입자의 입경에 따른 개수 및 질량 농도를 구하였다. 또한 각 조건별로 흡입연기의 일정기간 동안 호흡기 내 질량 침착량을 대기환경 미세먼지 기준치와 비교 분석하였다.
