Reduction and prevention of human error is one of the major interests for the enhancement of system safety and availability in Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs). As human beings have become the weak point in the system safety, a systematic evaluation on human performance during emergency situation should be performed in advance to identify the potential vulnerability of human tasks. Though the data gathering and analysis from real field is an important precondition, there were no available data in nuclear field of korea. This paper presents the result of human performance analysis on emergency tasks in NNPs. Firstly, a task analysis was performed to identify the characteristics of operator tasks during emergency condition and to classify them into a set of generic emergency tasks. Secondly, simulation data were collected and analyzed for the emergency tasks using the full scope simulator of Younggwang NPPs. The analyzed human performance information cover the event diagnosis time, the execution time of each procedural step, observation parameters, typer of irrelevant response, pattern of communication among staffs, and so on. These performance data would be used for human reliability analysis and the research of human error as technical bases.

LPG refueling include a lot of risk done by human beings, dealing with highly combustible gas, so, during the refueling, the leakage initiated by human errors can result in a catastrophic accident. Therefore, this research tried to show what kind of tasks would include the high probability of the human errors and what should be considered for effective safety management in the LPG refueling. At first, 4 typical cases were taken through surveying various accident cases, and then a prototype of the refueling task was presented. And each task was analysed by FTA and ETA. The results showed that overpressure occupies 64.64% of the major reasons for gas leakage, and its probability was approximately 6.62E-06. Among the tasks, gas leakage resulted from mal-assembly of lorry hoses had the highest rate, and human errors related to opening and closing valves of pipe lines were most frequent. Also, the effects of confirming tasks were analyzed quantitatively.

Using effective light, which is physical experiences by its control and manner of adaption, and make human to recognize the shape and give the meaning, so that approaching against perception experimental method which plays a role in basic clue, is regarded crucial highly among human sensory organ. this study consider the perception conception, its feature and necessity against eyes' adaption among human perception experimental experiences which has been discussed indifferently for inner space. Also, we looked over the problems among actual examples of inner spaces which should be considered as to adaption conception of human beings. Furthermore, this study aims at basic studying, which searching for enable to adapt in case of planning for inner space planning and distributing the quality evaluation by using effective light.

There have been repetitive landslides and debris flows on natural terrain induced by intensive rainfalls which have never been experienced during the last a few decades in Korea. Frequencies and magnitudes of landslides and debris flows are steeply increased after 2000 resulting in huge damages of human beings and facilities. According to a statistical data from NEMA, the human deaths induced by landslides and slope hazards occupies 22.3% of the total human deaths by all the natural hazards in Korea during the last 30 years. Among the human deaths by landslides and slope hazards, 85% of the damages were caused by landslides and debris flows on natural hazards. Therefore, this paper summarizes important events of landslides and debris flows, their characteristics, and suggests some methods of damage mitigation.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of the future fashion by grasping the cyber fashion, which is discussed outstandingly in the recent fashion world, into internal expression and external features. The result of this study is as follows: Cyber fashion means the application of the electronic image, dynamic phenonmenon of machine, and the effects of light to fashion, and it has some external features of geometrical pattern, dynamic structure, and high-tech material and color: Aside from this noticeable characteristics, cyber fashion has some internal features of the direction toward future, the anti-culture, and the surreal. In this cyber fashion, first, computer will be introduced and used as the means to realize a dream of human being. Second, it will be designed with the ideal feature of future society. Third, it will be possible to develope material and design to solve ecological issue of human beings. Fourth, the fashion to give the peace and stability to human being will be popular.

We propose an global color model based method for tracking motions of multiple human using a networked multiple-camera system in intelligent space as a human-robot coexistent system. An intelligent space is a space where many intelligent devices, such as computers and sensors(color CCD cameras for example), are distributed. Human beings can be a part of intelligent space as well. One of the main goals of intelligent space is to assist humans and to do different services for them. In order to be capable of doing that, intelligent space must be able to do different human related tasks. One of them is to identify and track multiple objects seamlessly.

Motion capture means the recording of movement of objects such as human beings, animals, creatures, machines, etc in a form applicable to computer. Since the motion capture system can be introduced to the fields where realistic movement of human beings and animals, which cannot be attained with an existing key frame method is required, large scale is necessary or economical burden exists, it has a merit and possibility of new expression. For these reasons, this method is increasingly used in the field of digital entertainment such as movie, TV, advertisement, documentary, music video, etc centering around the game. However, in spite of such an advantage, problems such as too much advance preparation work in digital image expressions using motion capture, marker attachment, compensation of motion data, motion retargeting and lack of professional human resources, etc. are becoming a prominent figure. Accordingly, this study intends to suggest the way of more effective production of motion capture digital image through finding the problems and their draft possible solutions in the production process based on the image production examples using motion capture.

The use of colors plays an important role in the field of space design. The selection of proper colors influences on people who use space by making the most of the psychological and physical functions of colors. Especially, the medical space is relatively more important than other indoor spaces in the selection of colors. The medical space has to be something to do with diversity and functions, and at the same time with stability and quietude, as well as the space with general convenient facilities. Color is not only related to the expression but also to the distinction of things and the existence. It also functions as a visual language. Human beings depend heavily on the function of color as a visual language. According to previous studies, human beings depend on color by 80% of the whole range of eyesight. Thus, color is an important factor in recognizing things and space. For example, in hospital, it Is very important to apply proper colors to various medical treatment spaces for the sake of patients' rest and healing. Various colors which do not consider the function of patients' rest and healing may make the space confusing against the change of space and structure. It is also important to apply colors to the change of space and structure. Another key point that I would like to make is that color has visual, direct and physical influence on the human body. For example, the color red with long wavelength serves to regulate body temperature. Research on the color scheme for hospitals should consider both physical and psychological factors. That is why the research should be carried out in depth through continuous clinical demonstration. The present research aims to outline color planning.

Since the late 20C, the development of informative electronic technology has expanded human beings' spatial recognition from three-dimension into multi-dimension. Also space has formed mutual organic relation with the human being, since they started having the image responding ability of experience and recognition. The mutual organic relation has appeared in exhibition space aggressively introduced informative electronic technology from existing physical space. Therefore, m carried out a compartive study into the status of exhibition facilities and the form of interaction focusing on exhibition facilities as a medium of interaction between information and users in experiential exhibition space to which informative electronic technology had been introduced. The ultimate purpose of the study was that the phenomena, which had been anticipated from happenings in mutual organic relation between human beings and space, was reflected on space as a place of various communication activities. Hereafter, researches and studies on further exhibition should be continued to clarify the mutual relationship between exhibition space and user trends not only through exhibition space but also through the study of user trends that are changing everyday.

Religion affects all the dimension of human beings, and at the same time it forms one dimension of human beings. Costume Is considered as a result that reflects the phases of the time and the characteristics of a wearer. Costume, also, has been influenced by religion that has led one's belief, social spirit and culture for a long period of time. The Eastern aesthetics has expanded the area of thoughts with the concepts that originated from Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Among the concepts, Non-Dualistic Theory is the core idea of Buddhism.'rho theory contains the moaning that one should not lean to one side between existence and nonexistence and should not be obsessed with the center. It was the most powerful Buddhistic idea that had an influence on Asian aesthetics. Korean traditional costume is not an exception. This study has a significance that it was conducted to understand the relation between religious principle and traditional custom through mainly using documentary records. The formative characteristics of Korean traditional costume influenced by Non-Dualistic Theory ran be summarized as non-structure like, indeterminate forms, amorphousness and anti-decoration such as plainness, temperance and achromatic color. Aesthetic value was expressed through 'the aesthetic of emptiness', 'the aesthetic of hiding', and 'the aesthetic of nature'. Although the appearance of a religious symbol can change, an essential element in religion lasts as human society remains. Although our clothing culture has converted to western style, Korean traditional aesthetics is placed deep inside of 'the Koreans' spirit and has a consistent effect on our overall culture of clothing.
