  • The mobilities and the electrophoretic phenomena of human serum albumin, and of horse serum albumin, etc., on paper were reported, but there is no information about the mobility and the electrophoretic phenomena of ovalbumin. In this study they are determined and considered at various time durations. The mean value of this mobility is compared with the value determined by the electrophoresis in solution. Also, the mobilities of the electroendosmotic flow, which affect on the mobility seriously, are determined at various time durations. Apparatus and method used, are a closed system type and a method with electrode vessels. It is concluded that: 1) The mobilities of ovalbumin have the nearly constant mobilities at six and eight hours of time durations, but it decreases at ten hours of long time duration. Their mean value is (0.243 ${\pm}$ 0.003)cm./hr./v./cm. toward anode at pH 8.0. 2) Under these experimental conditions, ovalbumin cannot be separated into three fractions (A1, A2, A3) on paper. 3) Most of the factors, which affect on the mobility, are fixed by the initial experimental conditions, but the electroendosmotic flow due to the characteristic capillarity of paper is measured. Then, the mean value of its mobilities shows the good constancy, and the value is (0.073 ${\pm}$ 0.0003)cm/hr./v./cm. toward cathode at pH 8.0. 4) By the above facts, if the same paper and the same experimental conditions are chosen, it may be preferred to determine the mobility of the electroendosmotic flow once time, even when many observations are required.

  • This study presents quantitative evaluation standards for they mobility test, conducted in the process of a slacks fit test. This study quantified the subjects' evaluation on the wearability of slacks to provide objective qualitative evaluation methods for existing mobility tests. The subjects were women of standard bodytype between the ages of 18 and 24 wearing slacks designed to test their mobility based on differences in ease in waist girth, hip girth, crotch length and knee length. A qualitative evaluation tested the wearability of slacks. Clothing pressure and gap area between the body and slacks were measured based on a quantitative evaluation. The clothing pressure and the gap area between the body and slacks (which reflect the results of the wearability test) were presented in this study as quantitative evaluation standards. Clothing pressure tended to increase as the ease of slacks decreased; however, clothing pressure standards, that induce discomfort, differed by body parts. The hip, crotch, and knee area were relatively less sensitive despite the waist and the abdominal area sensitivity to clothing pressure. This study suggests the minimum ease for the appropriate wearing comfort of slacks by region and motion as standards for the quantitative evaluation of mobility tests. These was reset in accordance to the limits of clothing pressure when the minimum ease was considered as wearable but exceeded the clothing pressure limits.

  • This paper analyzed the effect of job search channels on the occupational adaptation of college graduates, with the Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS) data. The analysis results are as follows: First, when using human networks for getting jobs, not only the educational level and major adequacy, but also the workplace satisfaction and the job satisfaction were higher than when using non-human networks. Second, as in the mediating effect of the relationship between job search channels and occupational adaptation by Sobel-test, it was found that there was a partial mediating effect of educational level and major adequacy, excluding skill level adequacy. The results of this study shows that human networks, by serving as an effective information transmitter on person-job fit between job search and recruitment, contribute significantly to improve occupational adaptation of college graduates. These results imply that strategic utilization of human networks in job search activities is important, and that it is necessary that career-related programs in the universities or the employment service institutions systematically include the importance and methods of using human networks.

  • Graphene shows unusual electronic properties, such as carrier mobility as high as 10,000 $cm^2$/Vs at room temperature and quantum electronic transport, due to its electronic structure. Carrier mobility of graphene is ten times higher than that of Silicon device. On the one hand, quantum mechanical studies have continued on graphene. One of them is quantum Hall effect which is observed in graphene when high magnetic field is applied under low temperature. This is why two dimension electron gases can be formed on Graphene surface. Moreover, quantum Hall effect can be observed in room temperature under high magnetic field and shows fractional quantization values. Quantum Hall effect is important because quantized Hall resistances always have fundamental value of h/$e^2$ ~ 25,812 Ohm and it can confirm the quantum mechanical behaviors. The value of the quantized Hall resistance is extremely stable and reproducible. Therefore, it can be used for SI unit. We study to measure quantum Hall effect in CVD graphene. Graphene devices are made by using conventional E-beam lithography and RIE. We measure quantum Hall effect under high magnetic field at low temperature by using He4 gas closed loop cryostat.

  • Objectives: Epilepsy is a neurological condition characterized by repeated seizures attributable to synchronous neuronal activity in the brain. The study evaluated the effect of acetone extract of Adansonia digitata stem bark (ASBE) on seizure score, cognition, depression, and neurodegeneration as well as the level of Gamma-Aminobutyrate acid (GABA) and glutamate in Pentylenetetrazol-kindled rats. Methods: Thirty-five rats were assigned into five groups (n = 7). Groups 1-2 received normal saline and 35 mg/kg PTZ every other day. Groups 3-4 received 125 mg/kg and 250 mg/kg ASBE orally while group 5 received 5 mg/kg diazepam daily for twenty-six days. Group 3-5 received PTZ every other day, 30 mins after ASBE and diazepam. Results: The results showed that Pentylenetetrazol (PTZ) induces seizure, reduces mobility time in force swim test and decreases the normal cell number in the brain. It also significantly decreases (p < 0.05) catalase, superoxide dismutase and reduced glutathione activities compared to the ASBE pre-treated rats. Pre-treatment with ASBE reportedly decreases seizure activities significantly (p < 0.05) and increases mobility time in the force swim test. ASBE also significantly elevate (p < 0.05) the normal cell number in the hippocampus, temporal lobe, and dentate gyrus. Conclusion: ASBE reduced seizure activity and prevented depression in PTZ-treated rats. It also prevented neurodegeneration by regulating glutamate and GABA levels in the brain as well as preventing lipid peroxidation.

  • Mitotic centromere-associated kinesin (MCAK), which is a member of the Kin I (internal motor domain) subfamily of kinesin-related proteins, is known to play a role in mitotic segregation of chromosome during M phase of the cell cycle. In the present study, we have produced a rat polyclonal antibody using human MCAK (HsMCAK) expressed in E. coli as the antigen. The antibody specifically recognized the HsMCAK protein (81 kDa), and could detect its nuclear localization in human Jurkat T cells and 293T cells by Western blot analysis. The specific stage of the cell cycle was obtained through blocking by either hydroxyl urea or nocodazole and subsequent releasing from each blocking for 2, 4, and 7 h. While the protein level of HsMCAK reached a maximum level in the S phase with slight decline in the $G_{2}-M$ phase, the electrophoretic mobility shift from $p81^{MCAK}\;to\;p84^{MCAK}$ began to be induced in the late S phase and reached a maximum level in the $G_{2}/M $ phase, and then it disappeared as the cells enter into the $G_{1}$ phase. Immunocytochemical analysis revealed that HsMCAK protein localized to centrosome and nucleus at the interphase, whereas it appeared to localize to the spindle pole, centromere of the condensed mitotic DNA, spindle fiber, or midbody, depending on the specific stage of the M phase. These results demonstrate that a rat polyclonal antibody raised against recombinant HsMCAK expressed in E. coli specifically detects human MCAK, and indicate that the electrophoretic mobility shift from $p81^{MCAK}\;to\;p84^{MCAK}$, which may be associated with its differential intracellular localization during the cell cycle, fluctuates with a maximum level of the shift at the $G_{2}-M$ phase.

  • In recent years, lots of studies on the planetary rover systems have been performed around space advanced agencies such as NASA, ESA, JAXA, etc. Among the various technologies for the planetary rover system, the mobility system, navigation algorithm, and scientific payload have been focused particularly. In this paper, the conceptual design for a ground-based model of planetary rover's mobility system to evaluate mobility and moving stability on ground is presented. The status of overseas research and development of the planetary rover systems is also addressed in terms of technical issues. And then, the requirements of the planetary rover's mobility system are derived by means of considering mobility and stability. The designed rover's mobility system has an active suspension with 6 legs that controls 6 joints on the each leg in order to achieve high stability and mobility. This kind of mobility system has already applied to the ATHELE of NASA for various purposes such as transportation and habitation for human lunar exploration activities in the near future (i.e., Constellation program). However, the proposed system has been designed by focusing on the small-sized unmanned explorations, which may be applied for the future Korea Lunar exploration missions. Therefore, we expect that this study will be an useful reference and experience in order to develop the planetary exploration rover system in Korea.

  • The human knee joint is the intermediate joint of the lower limb that is the largest and most complex joint in the body. Understanding of joint-articulating surface motion is essential for the joint wear, stability, mobility, degeneration, determination of proper diagnosis and so on. However, many studies analyzed the passive motion of the lower limb because of the skin marker artefact and some studies described medial and lateral condyle of a femur as a simple sphere due to the complexity of geometry. Thus, in this paper, we constructed a three-dimensional geometric model of the human knee from the geometry of its anatomical structures using non-uniform B-spline surface fitting as a study for the kinematic analysis of more realistic human knee model. In addition, we developed and verified 6-DOF contact model of the human knee joint using $C^2$ continuous surface of the inferior region of a femur, considering the relative motion of shank to thigh during locomotion.

  • This paper studies the impact of domestic and foreign economic activity on mobility among regions. The shortage of human resources and demand continues in Eastern Europeans. Especially Ukrainians, have entered the Polish labor market to make up for the scarce areas. As a result, Poland's supply and demand in Ukraine is disproportionate. Minimum wage increases are putting continued pressure on employers. Therefore, the regression equation in the form of job-seeker's economic activity ratio, y= AX2+B,(x=settlers) can be used to grasp the relationship between curves. According to the domestic and foreign workers who migrated, economic activities was rather than increasing the local population, the settlers of nearby large cities is more proportional. Empirical analysis has shown that the human resource hub has increased migration to large cities and industrial. The hub 'A'nation has been created for mobility in 4th wave re-industry, and the same re-industrialization (N2) in other cities has attracted nearby human resources, but not settle. After all, the hub relationship between N1 and N2 is a mobile relationship. Due to wage inequality or a positive wellbeing chasm, workers are not settled plant area but a nearby city, or commuting between borders is easy to go into the hub central city. However, this proved on emerging from the relatively temporary settlers in the AI era.

  • This study examines several evolutionary and alternative aspects of the system of existing education and suggests a more specific approach to the development of recent education that has evolved to the recent service economy era and a new approach to the human capacity of the World Economic Forum (WEF). We propose a stage of education system. We will change the meaning and choice of the job according to the rapid development of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Future occupational education also needs to be changed according to the expectation that job movement will happen frequently. The new education requires a model to prepare for the phenomenon of various convergence as technology collapses with the existing culture. And a higher-level educational philosophy is needed for human competence and the environment to actually connect industrial and social issues. The purpose of this study is to show the necessity of introduction of New Service Learning as a new system of education for super mobility. New Service Learning can be divided into five concepts: Innovation, Modernity, Sustainability, Humanity, and Technology. In future research, it is necessary to complement the research by empirically analyzing the concept of New Service Learning.
