배출원별 음식물 쓰레기 발생 특성 및 아파트 단지에서의 퇴비화 방안 (대전 및 충청남도 지역을 중심으로) (Generation of Food Waste from Different Sources and Its Composting Measures at the Apartment Complex)

  • 음식물쓰레기의 발생량과 조성점유율이 증대됨에 따라 음식물쓰레기의 효율적인 처리 및 처분이 쓰레기 관리행정의 성공여부를 좌우하므로 도시규모별, 발생원별 음식물쓰레기의 양과 조성 그리고 단위 가정 및 퇴비화 의무대상업소에서의 배출현황을 조사하여 이를 통한 수거체제를 고찰하였다. 대전시와 충청남도 5개 표본도시로부터 조사한 음식물쓰레기의 연평균 조성은 50%를 넘고 있으며 주택가, 아파트, 상가지역간 조성비의 차이는 거의 없다. 종이류가 약 25% 정도를 유지하고 있기 때문에 매립장에 유입되는 일반폐기물의 75% 이상이 퇴비화로 처리가 가능하다. 음식물쓰레기 발생원단위는 단위가정조사의 경우 200~250g/인 일이며 매립장에서 전체 발생 쓰레기를 기준으로 조사할 경우 380~400g/인 일이다. 이는 가정의 구성원이 가정에서보다 가정 밖에서 2배에 가까운 음식물쓰레기를 배출하고 있음을 시사해 주고 있다. 음식물쓰레기 감량화 의무대상업소인 연구소와 관공서의 음식물쓰레기 원단위는 각각 166g/인 일과 215g/인 일로 조사되었고 대중음식점의 경우 수준에 따라 발생원단위는 현저하다. 고급인 경우 670g/인 일, 중급은 190g/인 일 그리고 대중음식점은 평균 60g/인 일이다. 1급 호텔의 경우 400g/인 일이며 집단급식소인 대학교 학생회관의 경우 170g/인 일로 조사되었다. 가정용 퇴비화 용기내에서 자연감량율은 1일 3~4%의 수준을 나타내고 있다.

회복탄력성을 통한 주관적 불면의 심각도와 자살사고와의 관계 (The Relationship between Insomnia and Suicidal Idea Through Resilience)

  • 연구목적 불면은 자살사고의 위험요인으로 알려져 있으나 아직 어떻게 자살의 위험에 영향을 미치는지 그 기전은 명확하지 않다. 이에 불면 증상이 회복탄력성과 자살사고와 상관이 있는 지를 살펴보고, 회복탄력성이 불면증상과 자살사고의 매개요소가 될 수 있을지 알아보고자 한다. 방 법 432명의 대학생을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문지를 통하여 일반적 특성 및 관련 검사를 수행하였다. 불면증 심각성 척도, 한국판 코너-데이비드슨 회복탄력성척도, 벡 자살사고 척도 및 벡 무망감 척도를 활용하여 불면증상, 자살사고, 회복탄력성, 무망감에 대해 조사하였으며, 각 요소간의 상관분석 및 경로분석을 수행하였다. 결 과 불면증상이 심할수록 회복탄력성이 낮았고, 자살사고가 증가되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 무망감, 연령, 성별, 동거가족, 가정 내 월수입을 통제하여도 유의하였다. 더불어 입면의 어려움과 유지의 어려움을 겪는 불면증상이 자살사고와 연관됨을 확인하였다. 경로분석을 통하여 불면증상이 자살사고에 직접적, 간접적으로 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었으며, 회복탄력성도 유의하게 자살사고에 영향을 주는 것으로 평가되었다. 이에 회복탄력성이 불면과 자살사고와의 관계에 유의미한 중재자가 됨을 확인하였다. 결 론 수면상태와 회복탄력성에 대한 평가 및 개입이 자살사고를 낮추어 자살을 예방하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

중국 수출확대를 위한 한국 농식품 브랜드 아이덴티티 정립 (A Study of Korean Agri-Food Brand Identities for Expanding Exports to China)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to target Chinese consumers of Korean agri-food through the analysis of agri-food brand identity images to set future directions for proposed agri-food exports to China. Since negotiations began for a free trade agreement (FTA) between Korea and China, some Koreans have worried about the Korean agriculture sector. The world trading system has undergone many changes in recent years. Since the start of FTA negotiations on agriculture, China and Korea have faced a heightened sense of crisis. China is trying to export agricultural products so actively that its agricultural exports could increase by more than 7% annually. China exported about one-tenth of its agricultural products to Korea in the period 2002-2010. Recently, the importance of brand identity has tended to increase, as the world becomes one unified market. In this situation, we should try to promote agri-food exports to China. It is very important to understand consumers' recognition of Korean food and the image of the Korean agri-food industry, to establish an export strategy. Research design, data, and methodology - This study targeted 2,800 adult men and women aged 25-59 years living in four major cities in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Qingdao) with a household income within the top 10% level in the China, using the one-to-one interview survey method. In addition, four groups by region (eight people per group) for a total of 32 groups were surveyed by using the focus group interview (FGI) research method, and impressions of imported agri-food were surveyed using 17 questions about fresh agri-food and 22 questions on processed agri-food. Factor analysis, brand positioning, biplot analysis, and so on, were carried out based on the results of these surveys. This research presents the brand identity of Korean food; according to the analyses, the brand identity is based on trust, safety, and attractiveness. Result - Factor analysis results showed that Chinese consumers expect four major qualities in imported fresh agri-food: freshness/safety, attractive appearance, premium branding, and excellent taste/quality. In the case of processed agri-food, it turned out that Chinese consumers are focused on safety/hygiene/freshness, health, and taste. In addition, in the fresh agri-food analysis by country, American foods had the upper hand; the image of American foods was also recognized as the most positive for processed agri-food. Meanwhile, according to the biplot analysis, Korean agri-food is strongly preferred for its appearance, but no country is strongly preferred as regards the level of freshness/safety that is expected by Chinese consumers. Conclusions - In this study, we analyzed the image of imported agri-food expected by Chinese consumers by reconstructing agri-food characteristics from the brand perspective. The research result shows that a Korean brand identity must be the ultimate goal for activities undertaken to enhance the image of Korean agri-food in the future. Additional research is needed because brand image can be formed through various channels.

청소년의 스트레스 유형에 대한 프로파일 탐색 (A Study on the Profile Analysis of Types of Adolescents' Stress)

  • 본 연구는 청소년들이 지각하는 스트레스 프로파일을 탐색하고, 프로파일에 나타난 집단별 특성변인의 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 한국청소년정책연구원의 '한국 아동 청소년 인권실태조사(2013)' 횡단자료를 이용하여 전국의 초등학교 4학년에서 고등학교 3학년에 재학 중인 9,521명의 청소년들을 대상으로 스트레스 유형에 대한 프로파일분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 적합도 지수와 잠재계층 분류율에 따라 2개 계층 유형이 선택되었다. 1유형은 모두 낮은 수준으로 나타나 저위험집단으로, 2유형은 모두 높은 수준으로 나타나 상대적 위험집단으로 명명하였다. 청소년들의 스트레스 특성을 예측하기 위해 저위험집단을 기준으로 이항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 여학생이 남학생에 비해, 주관적 건강상태와 행복 정도가 낮을수록, 가출경험이 있을수록, 학업성적 수준과 가정의 경제적 사정이 낮을수록 상대적 위험집단에 속할 가능성이 높게 나타났다. 그러나 중학생은 가출경험과 학업성적수준에서, 고등학생은 학업성적수준에서 집단 간 차이가 유의미하지 않게 나타났다. 초등학생, 중학생, 고등학생, 전체 청소년에서 모두 저위험집단에 비해 상대적 위험집단에 속할 가능성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 행복정도로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 시사점, 제한점, 후속연구의 방향을 제시하였다.

일부(一部) 도시(都市) 영세지역(零細地域)의 보건실태(保健實態) (Health Status in Urban Slum Area)

  • In order to find out health problems among inhabitants in slum areas in Kwanak-Ku, Seoul, a series of health survey was conducted upon 510 households by interview from March to December, 1976. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Employments of householders were unstable; Out of 508 householders, 164(32.3%) were unemployed and 184 (36.2%) were daily or temporary employees. 2. Average number of households per house was 2.0 and average area of residential room per person was $4.0m^2$. 3. 476(93.3%) out of 510 households were supplied with tap water and rest of them made use of ground water as a source of drinking water. 4. Only 279(18.3%) out of 1527 live births were delivered at medical facilities, 496(32.7%) were at home attended by doctors or midwives and 358(25.1%) took prenatal care. The above findings were worse in urban slum area than in other urban area of relatively high economic level, but were better than in rural area of less medical facilities. 5. Initiation of treatment were delayed until their illnesses were advanced in most of the households, 472(92.5%) out 510. In the early stage of the illness, 131(25.6%) of the house-holds sought physicians in their clinics or general hospitals and 250 (40.9%) visited chemists, to toy drugs at first hand. Frequency of visits to physician increased to 52.8% as the disease aggravated in later stages. 6. Cost of medical expenditure per household amounted to 815 won, and was paid to, in the order of chemists, physicians, chinese herb stores, chinese herb doctors. 7. Concerning the health knowledge of the inhabitants, 273(53.9%) out of 506 respondents were aware of the infectivity of pulmonary tuberculosis, and 68(13.4%) of them checked regularly their chest findings by X-ray at least once every two years. 8. As for the family planning, although 448(87.3%) out of 510 respondents were in favor of it, 215 (41.8%) of them were actually practicing contraception. 9. About 40.6% (125 respondents) of them obtained information and knowledge concerning contraception through personal contact with family planning workers. 10. Nutritional status of housewives was generally poor: 49(38.3%) out of 128 housewives were found to be anemic and average serum protein level was $7.5{\pm}0.82g/dl$.

일반계 고등학생 사교육비 지출에 대한 베이지안 분위회귀모형 분석 (Bayesian quantile regression analysis of private education expenses for high scool students in Korea)

  • 일반계 고등학생의 사교육비 지출은 대학입시와 맞물려 최근 더욱 증가하고 있는 동시에 가구소득 수준, 지역 등에 따라 양극화되고 있다. 기존의 사교육비 연구는 주로 다중회귀모형을 토대로 최소자승법을 이용하였으나 자료가 최소자승법의 기본가정인 정규성과 등분산성을 만족하지 않으면 분석결과의 신뢰성에 대한 문제가 발생된다. 본 연구는 2015년도 사교육실태조사자료에 대하여 정규성과 등분산성이 성립되지 않음을 확인하고 이를 통제할 수 있는 베이지안 분위회귀모형을 적합한 후 깁스 샘플링 방법을 이용하여 사교육비 지출규모 수준 (분위수)에 따라 영향요인들을 분석하였다. 분석결과 학생의 성별, 부모의 나이, 방과후 학교 참여시간과 비용은 사교육비 지출규모에 의미있는 영향을 주지 못하였다. 가구소득은 사교육비 지출규모의 모든 수준에서 동일하게 영향을 주는 요인으로 파악되었다. 그 외, 거주지역, 총사교육시간, 학생의 성적, 부모의 교육정도, 가구의 경제활동주체, 방과후 학교 참여여부, EBS 교재비용은 사교육비 지출 규모의 수준에 따라 다르게 영향을 주었다.

우유(牛乳) 및 유제품(乳製品)의 소비행동(消費行動0에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Consumption of Milk and Milk Products)

  • To determine patterns of preference for and consumption of milk and milk products in Seoul city, a study was conducted of 724 girls and 587 boys ranging in age from elementary school to collage level, from July to August, 1974. Findings are summarized as follows: In general, milk and milk products were liked by both children and adults. A contrasting low tendency to purchase such products was due to socioeconomics, habitual, and educational factors, as well as a lack of adequate nutritional information, especially with regard to milk. Knowledge of the value of milk as a source of calcium was lacking, especially among boys. The majority of homemakers understood that milk was nutritious, but not specifically as the best source of calcium for their families. Milk, especially in beverage form, was commonly regarded as food for the infant and small child. Grandparents would not drink it. Such a beliefe is similar to that found in under-developed or developing nations. The need for nutrition education must be emphasized. Milk and milk products are expensive foods, particularly for the low income family; but even in higher income levels, consumption was limited. Milk was consumed mostly by the younger family members, less by the older. Among the children, preference, knowledge, and concern with the nutritional value of milk increased with age of subjects. It is presumed that awareness improved with increasing length of school education. Greater frequency of milk intolerance was found with decreasing age of respondents: about 10 percent had some form of milk intolerance. This percentage will be found to be much higher in villages where milk is less familiar. This study indicated that respondents liked ice cream best of all the milk products. For beverage, they preferred cider and cola in summer, coffee and milk in winter. Smaller families consumed more milk than larger families. Household consumption of condensed milk was very low, mostly as coffeemate. Among households interviewed, as many had regular as irregular delivery of dairy milk. Average consumption ranged 0.5 to 1.5 Hop. Engel indices of these families ranged 20 to 60. Use of milk at home was very simple. Not many methods of preparation were found. The milk was used mostly as beverage. In order to improve the nutritional level of Korean children and adults who especially need additional calcium, milk and milk products are recommended as the best source of calcium. Nutrition education of children and their parents should receive greater emphasis.

일부 지역의 근로자가 지각하는 구강건강상태와 구강건강행위실천에 관한 연구 (A study on oral health status and oral health behavior practice perceived by workers in part areas)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine about workers' oral health status and oral health behavior practice. Methods : Questionnaire survey was carried out targeting 331 workers within the industrial complex of Jeonju city in 2011. As a result of surveying and analyzing workers' oral health status, habit related to oral health, activity restriction, which is oral disease phase, and oral health practice level by using SPSSWIN 12.0. Results : 1. Workers' experience of visiting dental hospital(clinic) for the past one year was indicated to be the highest with 64.9% in the working period with 10 years-under 20 years(p<0.001). Experience of scaling was indicated to be averagely 38.8%. 2. The oral health status perceived by workers was the highest with 40.5% in 'having something abnormal'. A problem was the highest with 28.0% in 'dental caries'. A cause was indicated to be 42.6% in 'because of being naturally weak in tooth or the gum.' The biggest reason for having failed to receive the dental treatment at a proper time was indicated to be the highest with 24.8% in 'because of feeling burdensome about dental expense. '3. 58.4% of male workers were smoking. The use of dental hygiene device was the highest with 40.6% in mouth-rinse. 4. Absence caused by oral disease was indicated to be the highest with 13.8% in the household income in more than 3,500,000won, thereby having shown the significant difference(p<0.05). Early leaving was indicated to be the highest 13.9% in more than 50s age, thereby having shown the significant difference(p<0.05). Also, as for factors of absence and early leaving, a pain was the highest with 64.7%. 5. Workers' oral health practice level was the highest with 2.85 points in 'Brushing teeth before going to bed'. Conclusions : Synthesizing these findings, the oral management could be known to be made negligently in the workers with the older age, the lower academic background, and the lower income. The institutional foundation is considered to be necessary for which the oral health education can be efficiently performed in addition to a need of periodic oral examination for these classes.

Relationship of Smoking with Self-perceived Health and Selected Health Behaviors

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze variables associated with smoking and selected health behaviors. This study targeted adult men and women over 20 of age. The sample population was drawn from the national sample, and the samples were chosen from the telephone book. A total of 1,500 cases were collected through a telephone based interview survey. As a tool for this study, a structured questionnaire was developed. the variables included self-perceived health status, and selected 7 health behaviors; smoking behavior, physical activities, eating habit, weight control, alcohol consumption, stress management, and cancer exam. The healthy life practice actions of Trans-theoretical model have been classified into five stages. Smokers were more likely than non-smokers to positive attitudes toward smoking and the impact of smoking in this study. This means that smokers's awareness toward the impact of smoking is very week. Smoking behavior was significantly related to other health related behaviors based on the correlation analysis. However, gender, engaging in regular physical activities, moderate consumption of alcoholic beverages, and receiving a cancer examination were the variables that can explain and predict a person's stages of adopting a non-smoking behavior. Self perceived health status was closely related to other health behaviors. Gender, age, and monthly household income were important demographic variables that have significant relationship with the self-perceived health status. Among the health behaviors, regular physical activities and weight control were significant predictable variables. Similar results have been found in the National health and Nutrition examination survey in Korea. As a result of this study, it was found that among the selected health behaviors, engaging in physical activity was an important variable to increase positive sense of health and non-smoking behaviors. Educational and policy level input is needed to increase awareness and provide chances to participate in fitness activities. To those who maintain exercise, the environmental support and diffusion of knowledge information and education data should be strengthened. To change attitudes toward smoking, more in-dept awareness campaign and education should be provided according to people's different behavioral status. In addition, not only diffusing health education data and delivering knowledge information through related programs, but also environmental support system that helps an individual maintain his/her action is required. Such a support system means settlement of the health enhancement base of school, workplace and community should be carried out, and the policy level support and regular programs should be provided and spread to the unit of community.

빈곤여성가장을 위한 서비스 제공에 대한 민-관 인식 차이에 관한 연구: 지역사회 거버넌스 실현의 현실적 간격을 중심으로 (A Study on Community Governance of Public Sector and Service Agencies : Focusing Differences of Perceptions Between Local Officials and Workers in Social Service Agencies Working for Poor Female-headed Households)

  • 본 연구는 빈곤여성가장 가구를 위한 서비스 전달체계 안에서 함께 공조하고 있는 지방자치단체 공무원과 기관종사자간 민관협력체계의 현실과 간격을 진단하고, 보다 효율적인 지역사회 서비스 전달체계를 형성하기 위한 정책적 고려사항들을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 지역사회에서 빈곤여성가장을 위한 지원 사업을 담당하고 있는 지방자치단체 자치구 공무원과 사회복지기관 및 기타 관련 기관 종사자를 대상으로 한 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 조사대상자의 약 70%가 지역사회내 민관협력체계나 기관간 네트워크가 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있는 것으로 지적하였다. 둘째, 지역사회 내 빈곤여성가장 발굴을 위해 보다 적극적으로 업무를 수행하고 있다고 평가하거나, 유관 기관간 협력 네트워크가 잘 이루어진다고 평가한 사람일수록 빈곤여성가장 가구를 위한 사회복지서비스가 충분히 전달되고 있으며, 필요도와 충족도간 격차는 줄어들었다고 진단하고 있었다. 셋째, 공공부문과 유관 민간기관간 종사자들은 다른 모든 요인을 통제한 이후에도 빈곤여성가장 가구의 탈빈곤을 위한 사회복지서비스의 필요성과 충족정도, 여성가장 탈빈곤 저해요인 등에 대한 인식에 있어서 현저한 격차가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론에서는 빈곤여성가장을 위한 사회서비스 전달체계안 공무원과 기관종사자간 인식의 차이를 해소하고 보다 효과적으로 서비스를 대상자에게 전달할 수 있는 정책방안이 모색되었다.
