수학사 기반 학습자 중심 수학동아리 효과 분석 연구 (A Study on Effect of Learner Centered Mathematical Club Based on Mathematics History)

  • This study assumes alternative character of the operation of mathematical club in middle school. The case that operated the voluntary mathematics club for one year was analyzed and the educational effect was considered. First, the examination instrument for choosing the members of mathematics club was developed and used. And, diverse teaching and learning materials for improving creativity and mathematical ability of the members were used. Second, the difference of learning result between the experiment group and control one who joined the activities of mathematics club was analyzed. Finally, mathematical club activity based on mathematics history appeared to be effective in improving academic achievement and mathematics exploration activity.

원전의사학 교육에 대한 한의과대학 학부생의 의식조사 연구 (A Survey of the Students' Attitude towards The Education of Oriental Medical Classics and History in The College of Oriental Medicine)

  • Objective: For the purpose to establish direction, goal and methods, basic attitude survey of students in The College of Oriental Medicine is necessary. Methods: For 356 students in three years of College of Oriental Medicine, survey about difficulty, preference between two methods of memorization and comprehension, direction and effectiveness of education, connectivity and overlap between related subjects, and teaching methods, is carried out and data is analyzed by subjects. Results: 1. In Chinese Literature, the survey shows that difficulty is $6.25{\pm}1.415$, contribution to read and understand is $7.23{\pm}1.801$, contribution to understand Human Nature and Gi Idea in Oriental Philosophy is $5.42{\pm}2.071$, and preference for comprehension is $6.25{\pm}2.387$. 2. In Medical Chinese Literature, the survey shows that difficulty is $5.98{\pm}1.655$, awareness about direction of education is $6.14{\pm}1.917$, overlap with subject of Oriental Medical Classics is $5.98{\pm}1.712$. 3. In Oriental Medical Classics, the survey shows that difficulty is $6.85{\pm}1.598$, preference for comprehension is $6.88{\pm}2.554$, connectivity with historical background is $5.07{\pm}1.989$, contribution of Chinese Literature is $7.27{\pm}1.882$, contribution of Medical Chinese Literature is $7.23{\pm}1.802$, connectivity with clinical area is $3.59{\pm}1.973$, preference for article-based teaching method is $6.35{\pm}2.693$, necessity to modern analysis of Oriental Medical Classics is $7.77{\pm}1.907$. 4. In Oriental Medical History, the survey shows that difficulty is $5.39{\pm}1,615$, feeling quantity of subject is $5.87{\pm}1.521$, connectivity with Oriental Medical Classics is $4.94{\pm}2.027$. Conclusion: The more comprehensive methods must be used than memorization, and modern analysis of Oriental Medical Classics have to be connected with clinical area. In addition, more close connection between Oriental Medical Classics and History is necessary, and new diverse method of education must be developed.

외측 발목 염좌 병력에 따른 정적 하지 정렬 차이: 외측 발목 염좌의 예측인자로서 정적 하지 정렬 검사의 효용성과 한계점 (Differences in Static Lower Extremity Alignment according to the History of Lateral Ankle Sprain: Efficacy and Limitation of Static Lower Limb Alignment Measurement as a Predictor of Lateral Ankle Sprain)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate 1) the difference in static lower extremity alignment (SLEA) according to a history of lateral ankle sprain (LAS), 2) to identify SLEA factors affecting LAS, and 3) to present the cut-off value and 4) the usefulness and limitations of the SLEA measurement. Method: This case-control study recruited 88 men (age: 27.78±4.69 yrs) and 39 women (age: 24.62±4.20 yrs) subjects with and without LAS. SLEA measurement protocol included Q angle, tibiofemoral angle, genu recurvatum, rear foot (RF) angle, tibal varum and torsion, navicular drop, ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (DF ROM). Independent t-test, logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve were used for statistical analysis. Results: Men with a history of LAS had significantly smaller Q angles both in standing and in supine position, while women with a history of LAS had significantly greater DF ROM in non-weight bearing (NWB; p < 0.05). Logistic regression model suggests tibial varum (OR = 0.779, p = 0.021) and WB DF ROM (OR = 1.067, p = 0.045) were associated with LAS in men. In case of women, there were no significant SLEA factors for LAS, however, ROC curve analysis revealed standing RF angle (AUC = 0.647, p = 0.028) and NWB DF ROM (AUC = 0.648, p = 0.026) could be affecting factors for LAS. Conclusion: There are differences in SLEA according to the history of LAS, furthermore, the identified items were different by sex. In case of men, tibial varum and WB DF ROM affect LAS occurrence. Standing RF angle and NWB DF ROM of women could be a predictor for LAS. However, since the sensitivity and specificity in most of the SLEA measurements are low, kinematic in dynamic tasks should be considered together for a more accurate evaluation of LAS risk.

  • This paper aims at understanding the Characterics of Architectural Education Methodology in Hannes Meyer's Bauhaus. Through the analysis of his Bauhaus curriculums, writings and works, especially Co-op designs and buildings, this paper investgates the problems caused by functionality, diagramic organization of modern life and sociality, and grasps the meaning of his works. Meyer realized the possibility of Bauhaus education system resulting from mechanical and technological progress, and pursuited the architecture for the proletarian masses. According to analysis, functionality and critical sociality were adopted to criticize bourgeosie humanistic architecture, it reveals Hannes Meyer's architectural Avant-garde strategy.

  • 현재 수학교육에서 큰 흐름을 이루고 있는 수학적 모델링, 수학화, 문제해결을 살펴보았다. 먼저, 1990년대 이후 수학교육에서 활발히 연구되기 시작한 수학적 모델과 수학적 모델링을 살펴보았다. 그리고 1970년대 Freudenthal가 주장한 수학화를 분석하여 수학적 모델링과 비교분석하였다. 또한, 1980년대 이후 수학교육의 중심이 된 문제해결도 살펴보고, 이를 수학적 모델링과 비교분석하였다.

  • 대칭은 수학뿐만 아니라 생활에서 널리 이용되는 개념으로 5-나 단계에서 도형의 대칭을 다루고 있다. 본 연구는 도형의 대칭 지도를 위해 대칭과 대칭지도에 관한 역사적 배경, 수학적 배경, 교육과정에서의 위계를 살펴보고, 아동에게 대칭에서 발생하는 주요 오류와 그 원인을 규명하여 이를 극복하기 위한 아이디어를 얻고자 한다.

AMATURE ASTRONOMY AND ASTRONOMY EDUCATION IN INDIA

  • In India, astronomy has been studied from the beginning of civilization. The word amateur means involvement in work for pleasure rather than as a profesion. So, amateur astronomers, in many places, prefer to be called non-professional astronomers. In India, the history of amateur astronomy is quite bright. From the Puranic age astronomy was studied for peoples' daily life. In Ramayana, Mahabharata, there is a lot of evidence of astronomical knowledge. Veda is the main source for studying the history of Indian astronomy. Today astronomy education, consciousness of astronomy education, sky observation, etc. are dependent on non-professional astronomers. Vigyan Prasar, an Indian Govt. organization, is trying to popularize astronomy throughout the country.

기후변화대응을 위한 문화유산 교육과정 개발 방안 연구 (A Study on the Curriculum Development for Climate Change and Cultural Heritage)

  • This study aims to develop a cultural heritage curriculum for climate change and present educational directions for cultural heritage and climate change impact in the future. In this study, the role and necessity of cultural heritage education for climate change were first discussed based on previous studies on climate change and cultural heritage. Next, the current status analysis of educational cases related to climate change and cultural heritage was conducted based on educational manuals, curriculum, and heritage competency systems associated with climate change. Finally, we propose a plan to develop a curriculum to cope with climate change and cultural heritage for graduate students in higher education institutions based on the four components of developing a curriculum. In future studies, we intend to propose guidelines for designing educational manuals and specific curricula for each educational target to cope with the climate change of cultural heritage presented in this study.

  • 물로켓은 가압된 기체와 액체(물)를 추진제로 이용하는 비화학식 로켓이다. 물로켓은 우주발사체로 사용되는 액체 추진제 로켓과 많은 공학적 공통점을 가지므로 로켓 공학 모델로써의 교구로 활용할 가치가 충분하다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 물로켓의 발달사를 간략히 살펴보고 청소년용 물로켓, 상용 물로켓, 동호인들의 물로켓을 살펴봄으로써, 공학 교구로써 물로켓의 활용 가능성을 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 현행 물로켓 경연대회들의 한계를 살펴봄으로써, 물로켓에 대한 인식의 변화를 유도할 경연 방식의 개선방향을 제시한다.
