  • Let $S(z_1,z_2),\;S_1(z_1,z_2)$ and $S_2(z_1,z_2)$ be power series with operator coefficients such that $S_(z_1,\;z_2)=S_1(z_1,z_2)S_2(z_1,z_2)$. Assume that the multiplications by $S_1(z_1,z_2)$ and $S_2(z_1,z_2)$ are contractive transformations in H($\mathbb{D}^2,\;\mathcal{C}$). Then the factorizations of spaces $\mathcal{D}(\mathbb{D},\;\tilde{S})$ and $\mathcal{D}(\mathbb{D}^2,\mathcal{S})$ are well-behaved.

  • In this paper, we consider proximal point algorithms based on ($A,{\eta}$)-monotone mappings in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Since ($A,{\eta}$)-monotone mappings generalize A-monotone mappings, H-monotone mappings and many other mappings, our results improve and extend the recent ones announced by [R.U. Verma, Rockafellars celebrated theorem based on A-maximal monotonicity design, Appl. Math. Lett. 21 (2008), 355-360] and [ R.T. Rockafellar, Monotone operators and the proximal point algorithm, SIAM J. Control Optim. 14 (1976) 877-898] and some others.

  • In this paper we characterize the quasiaffine transforms of quasisubscalar operators. Let H and K be separable, complex Hilbert spaces and L(H,K) denote the space of all linear, bounded operators from H to K. If H = K, we write L(H) in place of L(H,K). A linear bounded operators S on H is called scalar of order m if there is a continuous unital morphism of topological algebras $$ \Phi : C^m_0(C) \to L(H) $$ such that $\Phi(z) = S$, where as usual z stands for identity function on C, and $C^m_0(C)$ stands for the space of compactly supproted functions on C, continuously differentiable of order m, $0 \leq m \leq \infty$.

  • In this paper, we prove two strong convergence theorems for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Hibert spaces by hybrid methods. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Nakajo, Takahashi [K. Nakajo, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279 (2003) 372-379], Kim, Xu [T. H. Kim, H. K. • In this paper, we initiate the study of some annihilator conditions on polynomials which were used by Kaplansky [Rings of operators. W. A. Benjamin, Inc., New York, 1968] to abstract the algebra of bounded linear operators on a Hilbert spaces with Baer condition. On the other hand, p.p.-rings were introduced by Hattori [A foundation of torsion theory for modules over general rings. Nagoya Math. J. 17 (1960) 147-158] to study the torsion theory. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the near-rings with Baer condition and near-rings with p.p. condition which are somewhat different from ring case, and to extend a results of Armendariz [A note on extensions of Baer and P.P.-rings. J. Austral. Math. Soc. 18 (1974), 470-473] and Jøndrup [p.p. rings and finitely generated flat ideals. Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 28 (1971) 431-435].

  • In a previous paper, the authors of this paper studied $2{\times}2$ matrices in upper triangular form, whose entries are operators on Hilbert spaces, and in which the the (1, 1) entry has a nontrivial hyperinvariant subspace. We were able to show, in certain cases, that the $2{\times}2$ matrix itself has a nontrivial hyperinvariant subspace. This generalized two earlier nice theorems of H. J. Kim from 2011 and 2012, and made some progress toward a solution of a problem that has been open for 45 years. In this paper we continue our investigation of such $2{\times}2$ operator matrices, and we improve our earlier results, perhaps bringing us closer to the resolution of the long-standing open problem, as mentioned above.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a general iterative algorithm to approximate a common solution of split generalized equilibrium problem, variational inequality problem and fixed point problem for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. Further, we prove a strong convergence theorem for the sequences generated by the proposed iterative scheme. Finally, we derive some consequences from our main result. The results presented in this paper extended and unify many of the previously known results in this area.

  • In this paper, we establish the existence of solutions and the approximate controllability for the semilinear neutral differential control system under natural assumptions such as the local Lipschitz continuity of nonlinear term. First, we deal with the regularity of solutions of the neutral control system using fractional powers of operators. We also consider the approximate controllability for the semilinear neutral control equation, with a control part in place of a forcing term, using conditions for the range of the controller without the inequality condition as in previous results.

  • In this paper, we propose a viscosity iterative algorithm for approximating a common solution of finite family of variational inequality problem and fixed point problem for finite family of multi-valued type-one demicontractive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. A strong convergence result of the aforementioned problems were proved and some consequences of our result was also displayed. In addition, we discuss an application of our main result to convex minimization problem. The result presented in this article complements and extends many recent results in literature.

  • Let Mα be a bilinear fractional maximal operator and BMα be a fractional maximal operator associated with the bilinear Hilbert transform. In this paper, the compactness on weighted Lebesgue spaces are considered for commutators of bilinear fractional maximal operators; these commutators include the fractional maximal linear commutators Mjα,β and BMjα,β (j = 1, 2), the fractional maximal iterated commutator ${\mathcal{M}}_{{\alpha},{\vec{b}}}$, and $BM_{{\alpha},{\vec{b}}}$, where b ∈ BMO(ℝd) and ${\vec{b}}\;=\;(b_1,b_2)\;{\in}\;BMO({\mathbb{R}}^d)\;{\times}\;BMO({\mathbb{R}}^d)$. In particular, we improve the well-known results to a larger scale for 1/2 < q < ∞ and give positive answers to the questions in [2].
