Recently, high performance microelectronic devices are designed in multi-layer structure in order to make dense wiring of metal conductors in compact size. Imprint lithography have received significant attention due to an alternative technology for photolithography on such devices. In this work, we synthesized dielectric composite materials based on epoxy resin, and investigated their thermal stabilities and dynamic mechanical properties for thermal imprint lithography. In order to enhance the mechanical properties and toughness of dielectric material, various modified polyetherimide(PEI) was applied in the resin system. Curing behaviours, thermal stabilities, and dynamic mechanical properties of the dielectric materials cured with various conditions were studied using dynamic differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), and Universal Test Method (INSTRON).
The effect of Ba2+ ion dissolution with different pH and amount of PAA on microstructural changes of green and sintered bodies and its electrical properties was studied in aqueous nano-size BaTiO3 slurry system. The dissolution of Ba2+ was least at strong base, pH 10.8 and by addition of amount of 0.15 wt% PAA. The green body with the lowest of dissolution of Ba2+ at pH 10.8 and 0.15 wt% PAA had minimum values of average pore size, 40nm and shown high increase of sintered density. The compact sintered at 125$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr with highest Ba2+ dissolution had low density and dielectric constant due to abnormal grian growth. However, the sintered body with the lowest Ba2+ dissolution had high sintered density and then shown high dielectric constant.
In this paper, It is studied that the variation of the dielectric absorption of the specimen according to the change with $^{60}$ Co-${\gamma}$ ray irradiation dose of the influence of temperature and applied voltage. In order to investigate the effect of irradiated oriented polypropylene film, we have observed dielectric properties within the temporature range of 30~130 ($^{\circ}C$) and voltage range of 100~250 (V). As for the dependency of temperature by tan $\delta$, the $\alpha$ peak which appears at high temperature increases accordingly to the increment of irradiation dose which is contributed by the crystal region and moves towards the high temperature. The $\beta$ peak which appears the orientation by dipoles and molecular motions in the amorphous region at low temperature. For the dependency of voltage by tan $\delta$ at low temperature, the peak of the tan $\delta$ shifts accordingly to the increment of irradiation dose towards the high temperature region.
The low foamed high strengthen styrofoam samples made by dielectric heating are discussed. We used the oscillator which have the frequency of 13.6MHz and the Power of 7kW. 3 times expanded beads by steaming method were used in our foam-molding test. Internal fusion properties and density of internal structure were improved by dielectric foaming process. At the temperature of 105-110$^{\circ}C$, the internal fusion property was maximally improved.
Dielectric materials with inherently high power densities and fast discharge rates are particularly suitable for pulsed power capacitors. The ongoing multifaceted efforts on developing these capacitors are focused on improving their energy density and storage efficiency, as well as ensuring their reliable operation over long periods, including under harsh environments. This review article summarizes the studies that have been conducted to date on the development of high-performance dielectric ceramics for employment in pulsed power capacitors. The energy storage characteristics of various lead-based and lead-free ceramics belonging to linear and nonlinear dielectrics are discussed. Various strategies such as mechanical confinement, self-confinement, core-shell structuring, glass incorporation, chemical modifications, and special sintering routes have been adopted to tailor the electrical properties and energy storage performances of dielectric ceramics. In addition, this review article highlights the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of pulsed power capacitors.
The composition of glasses to be suitable for crystallisation of $BaTiO_3$ by heat-treatment and the dielectric properties of the glass-ceramics were investigated. The composition of the family of glasses was defined by the formula $\chi$$BaTiO_3 + (100-$\chi$)Al_2O_3$.$2SiO_2$ and excess BaO. Data were presented on dielectric constant and loss tangent at various frequencies. The effects of excess BaO on dielectric properties were investigated. The additions of $Na_2O$ and $Nb_2O_5$ shifted the Curite temperature of these glass-ceramics. The glass composition which was able to be melted at 145$0^{\circ}C$ and moulded as homogeneous glass phase without devitrification should contain $Al_2O_3$.$2SiO_2$ more than 30 mole %. The more the amount of additive BaO increased, the more dielectric constant increased. When the maximum heat-treatment temperature was 105$0^{\circ}C$, we obtained higher dielectric constant than that of 95$0^{\circ}C$. The dielectric constant and the dielectric loss were stable at frequencies between 5$\times$104 and 107 cycle per second. When $Na_2O$ and $Nb_2O_5$ were added, the Curie temperature, presented at 14$0^{\circ}C$ to 15$0^{\circ}C$, shifted to lower temperature. Therefore, the glass-ceramics having high dielectric constant at room temperature were obtained.
Electrostatic forces contribute to the high degree of enzyme transition state complementarity in enzyme catalyzed reaction and such forces are modified by the solvent through its dielectric constant and polar properties. The contributions of electrostatic interaction to the formation of ES complex and the stabilization of transition state of the trypsin catalyzed reaction were probed by kinetic studied with high pressure and solvent dielectric constant. A good correlation has been observed between the increase of catalytic efficiency of trypsin and the decrease of solvent dielectric constant. Activation volume linearly decreased as the dielectric constant of solvent decreased, which means the increase in the reaction rae. Moreover, the decrease of activation volume by lowering the solvent dielectric constant implies a solvent penetration of the active with and a reduction of electrostatic energy for the formation of dipole of the active site oxyanion hole. When the 야electric constant of the solvents was lowered to 4.7 unit, the loss of activation energy and that of free energy of activation were 2.262 KJ/mol and 3.169 KJ/mol, respectively. The results of this study indicate that the high pressure kinetics combined with solvent effects can provide unique information on enzyme reaction mechanisms, and the controlling the solvent dielectric constant can stabilize the transition state of the trypsin-catalyzed reaction.

The dielectric carbon nitride thin films were deposited onto Si(100) using a pulsed laser ablation of pure graphite target combined with a high voltage discharge plasma in nitrogen gas atmosphere. We can be calculated dielectric constant, ${\varepsilon}_s$, with a capacitance Sobering bridge method. We reported to investigate the influence of the laser ablation of graphite target and DC high voltage source for the plasma. The properties of the deposited carbon nitride thin films were influenced by the high voltage source during the film growth. Deposition rate of carbon nitride films were found to increase drastically with the increase of high voltage source. Infrared absorption clearly shows the existence of C=N bonds and $C{\equiv}N$ bonds. The carbon nitride thin films were observed crystalline phase, as confirmed by x-ray diffraction data.

In this study, in order to develop the capacitor composition ceramics with the good dielectric properties, $(Ba_{0.86}Ca_{0.14})(Ti_{0.85}Zr_{0.12}Sn_{0.03})O_3+xCuO$ (x= 0.006~0.010) ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction method. The effects of CuO addition on the microstructure and dielectric properties was investigated. All specimens indicated rhombohedral phase without any secondary phase. As CuO addition increased, the variation width of TCC was increased at more than $40^{\circ}C$. Also, the specimen with x=0.007 sintered at $1,250^{\circ}C$ showed the high dielectric constant of 9,632 in spite of low temperature sintering temperature.

The new PEI(poly(epoxy-imide))-nano Silica film has been synthesized via in situ CS sol process, and the chemical bonding and microstructure of nano silica dispersed in resin were examined by FT-IR, TAG and SEM. The dielectric properties of these hybrid films over a given temperature and frequency ranges have been studied in a point of view of stable chemical bonding of nano Silica filler. The results from IR spectra and SEM photograph indicated that PEI-Silica hybrid film prepared with nano CS sol process has been synthesized in uniform and chemical bonding. The decrease property of dielectric constant with CS content, tangent loss consistent of given frequency and temperature has been explained in terms of the chain movement of polymer through chemical bonging and size effect of nano silica. The new PEI-CS sol hybrid film with such stable chemical and dielectric properties was expected to be used as a high functional coating application in ET, IT and electric power products.
