The data broadcasting service, which is growing remarkably today, provides viewers with useful information as well as high quality video and audio. Service information is a kind of additional data that contains a wide range of information such as channel list and/or program title. Each service information is transmitted in the form of a table. And most standard committees have specified their own table list used for carrying the service information. Consequently, It causes incompatibility among services that each broadcast operators produce because the tables that they use differ from each other. In this paper, we propose a general-purpose service information processing system for an integrated data broadcasting middleware that is compatible with heterogenous broadcasting environments. The system is able to change its target table list dynamically without any code modification. Futhermore, we also adopted a thread pool model for efficient parsing and event dispatching.

According to the development of streaming services with P2P and mobile network technologies, researches to enhance the service quality in mobile environment have been proposed. However, streaming services considering high-speed mobile environment and characteristics of heterogenous terminals have been hindered from being provided with the required quality from user because of bandwidth congestion between selfish peers of existing P2P system. It is also prone to long delay and loss in accordance with the repeated traffic amounts because there are no optimized solution for traffic localization. The structure to enhance peer contribution for service differentiation and peer selection with clustering scheme with location information of terminal can satisfy both users and service providers with service quality and efficiency. In this paper, we propose an incentive mechanism and resource distribution scheme with user contribution and traffic cost information based on user location, which make mobile users increase the satisfaction of service quality in LTE environments.

In this paper, we propose a video streaming server that guarantees a certain level of quality when a server should serve video streaming service to multiple heterogenous clients simultaneously with TCP transport. If each heterogeneous client requests video streaming service in according to its own requirement such as bitrate of content and these requests are accepted by a server, then TCP flows for each video streaming session fairly share limited uplink bandwidth of the server. At this time, because TCP's bandwidth fair-share characteristics can result in bandwidth shrinkage of higher bitrate video streaming session, the client of higher bitrate video may suffer sluggish playback which is related with streaming QoS degradation. To tackle this problem, our proposed server system uses multiple TCP connections adaptively for each video streaming session depending on the anticipated status of the client playout buffer. Simulation results show that our proposed algorithm can successfully reduce the occurrence of playout buffer underrun and enhance streaming quality for whole video clients.

Along with language, socialization is a unique feature of the human being. There is a continuous debate regarding whether the development of socialization is innate, and conducted by the environment in the growing process, or the result of the interaction of both aspects. If socialization is the result of the interaction with the environment or is an acquired developmental process, the following question rises. "Is there a 'critical period' for the development of socialization?" Although there are a huge number of studies seeking for treatment and solutions for developmental delay or deficits of socialization, it is very complicated question to answer. Historical figures such as 'Hugh Blair' of Borgue in England, and 'the wild boy of Aveyron' in France, seem to have innate socialization deficits. Nowadays patients with non-verbal learning disorder, social communication disorder, or autism spectrum disorder seem to have genetic defects. On the other hand, Harry Harlow's monkey experiments, hikikomori of Japan, Romanian orphans and patients with reactive attachment disorder seem to display social deficits due to environmental factors. However, it is not easy to clearly draw a line between innate or acquired factors. Therefore, rather than subdividing the diseases for etiological and pathophysiological approach to heterogenous groups with the common denominator of social deficit, and for the research of pathophysiology and treatment development, the authors suggest a comprehensive concept of "social dysfunction spectrum."

A hybrid system is a combination of sub systems which have different types of state and time: a typical example is a combination of discrete event and continuous systems. A HDEVS(Hybrid DEVS) formalism was proposed for modeling and analyzing a hybrid system. The HDEVS formalism allows modelers to construct a hierarchical and modular model based on the mathematical set theory. Because the HDEVS formalism was applied to the distributed and interoperated simulators, modelers should make several heterogenous models dividing a target system. Hence, this paper proposes an extended hybrid coupled model of HDEVS formalism and an integrated hybrid modeling methodology in contrast to the existing simulation framework on interoperable simulators. By applying the proposed modeling method, a target system can be translated to a hybrid model in a similar form as the target system. This paper also contains a simulation engine design for the proposed modeling methodlogy and a case study which simulates water tank control systems.

The ichthyosiform dermatosis is consisted of a heterogenous group of hereditary disorders. Authors report a case of 26 year old female patient who has congenital ichthyosiform dermatosis associated with sensorineural hearing loss, neovascularization of cornea, partial alopecia and abnormalities of nails and teeth. The audiological findings of this patient were as follows: 1. Bilateral severe sensorineural hearing loss. 2. SISI scores: 100% at 1, 000 Hz and 4, 000 Hz on both ear. 3. Tone decay test: 25 dB decay at 1, 000 Hz and 4, 000 Hz respectively on both ear. 4. SRTs : 85 dB on both ear. 5. Speech discrimination scores : 80% at 95 dB hearing level(MCL) on both ear. With above results, cochlear lesion is suspected in this syndrome.

The trp2 gene encoding trifunctional enzyme in Coprinus cinereus was investigated the expression in the heterothallic mushroom species. To identify the homology of trp2 gene to Schizophyllum commune and Pleurotus ostreatus, southern hybridization was performed with plasmid pHIONA8 containing C. cinereus trp2 gene as a probe, which resulted in a strong signal indicating an homologous sequence to the chromosomal DNA of S. commune. About 50 transformants per dish was appeared in the complementation test by pHIONA8 using S. commune tryptophan auxotroph as host. In the mating test between transformants and other mating type alleles, the fruiting body of S. commune was formed at $30^{\circ}C$ in $2{\sim}3$ weeks.

Pulmonary sequestration is a rare anomaly, in which a local area of a lung is supplied separately by an anomalous artery that arises from the aorta or one of its branches. Infection, mainly bacterial, is a major complication of sequestration. We report the case of a 17-year-old male patient, who presented with cough and fever. The contrast-enhanced chest computer tomomgraphy (CT) scans revealed an aberrant artery that originated from the descending thoracic aorta. He underwent a left-lower lobectomy. Macroscopically, the abnormal segment presented as multiple heterogenous cystic and solid lesions, and the cysts were filled with mucoid and pus-like material. Histology showed that the pulmonary parenchyma had been replaced by caseating epitheloid granulomas. The mycobacterial culture of his sputum was positive. On the basis of these results, the diagnosis of tuberculosis was established. The patient was treated with anti-tuberculous medication for 6 months, and 1 year later, his clinical status remained excellent.

A 10-day-old, Holstein calf with facial mass of 10 cm in diameter at the forehead region referred to Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in Chungnam National University. The mass was soft and fluctuating swelling. It had normal skin and hair hanging forward from frontal region and was thought to contain cerebrospinal fluid. On the skull radiography, cauliflower like-irregular marginated, soft tissue opacity mass was identified craniodorsal to the frontal bone. The mass appeared as a cyst filled with anechoic fluid on ultrasonography. Soft tissue structures considered brain tissues were observed in the deep area of the mass. On the computed tomography, a large skull defect of left side frontal bone was found, and heterogeneous materials were exposed through the defect but exposure of cerebral meninges and brain tissue were not confirmative. On magnetic resonance imaging, herniated left brain parenchyma showed heterogenous T2 and T1 hyperinsensity. In the intracranium, T2 hyperinstense and T1 hypointense fluid was identified on the left side, instead of left cerebral parenchyma. Also leftward shift of right hemisphere and midline structure, including thalamus and midbrain, were observed. The definitive diagnosis was confirmed as a meningoencephalocele based on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The calf was euthanized and necropsy was performed. On necropsy, both hemisphere were developed unequally with different size. One side hemisphere was grown in the outside through 10 cm hole on the median plane.

Various and complex cultural phenomena have led to many changes in the space. The concept of unconsciousness, among others, and experimental expression technique and the concepts from surrealism that rather attaches great importance to contingency than intentional attempt have been employed in the space. The abstract expression as expressional characteristics of surrealism makes the space ambiguous through the concept of automatism using the approach of indeterminism and double image expression, and represents the space providing diversity through the dualism. In contrast, objective expression, which was based on depaysement, generates the tension and expresses the dramatic situation in such a way and manner which are intentional, distorted transformed, together with heterogenous meanings aligned through the reversal appeared in the techniques of collage and paranoiac-critical method. However if such space accommodating the expressional characteristics of surrealism is approached as superficial concept in analyzing the human's inner consciousness and imaginary society, expression of the ultimate concept contained in the expressional characteristics of surrealism can hardly be achieved. Hence, the spatial analysis from the semiotic approach, instead of unilateral method aimed to convey the meaning only, which creates the signification, was adopted. The study, as effective approach to the space accommodating the expressional characteristics of surrealism, was intended systematically evaluate the concreteness of understanding and generation of meaning through the semiotic method. Greimas' semiotic square analysis to the space plays the important role in generating the spatial meaning, as well as is needed for objective analysis of the importance of various characteristics and methodology which the space contains through the expressional characteristics of surrealism.
