한국인 청소년 신장과 체중의 시대적 변천에 따른 통계학적 추정치에 관한 연구 (Statistical Estimate and Prediction Values with Reference to Chronological Change of Body Height and Weight in Korean Youth)

  • As compared with body height and body weight by ages and sexes, by means of the data reported under other researchers from 1967 to 1994 for 33 years, this study obtained the estimate value of body height and body weight by ages and sexes for the same period, and figured out prediction value of body height and body weight in the ages of between 6 and 14 from 1995 to 2000. These surveys and measurements took for one year from October 1st 1994 to September 30th. As shown in the 〈Table 1〉, in order to calculate the establishment, estimate value and prediction value of the chronological regression model of body height and body weight, by well-grounded 17 representative research papers, this research statistically tested propriety of liner regression model by the residual analysis in advance of being reconciled to simple liner regression model by the autonomous variable-year and the subordinate variable-body weight and measured prediction value, theoretical value from 1962 to 1994 by means of 2nd or 3rd polynomial regression model, with this redult did prediction value from 1995 to 2000. 1. Chronological Change of Body Height and Body Weight The analysis result from regression model of the chronological body height and body weight for the aged 6 - 16 in both sexes ranging from 1962 to 1994, corned from the 〈Table 2-20〉. On the one hand, the measurement value of respective researchers had a bit changes by ages with age growing, but the other hand, theoretical value, prediction value showed the regular increase by the stages and all values indicated a straight line on growth and development with age growing. That is, in case of the aged 6, males had 109.93cm in 1962 and females 108.93cm, but we found the increase that males had 1I8.0cm, females 1I3.9cm. In theoretical value, prediction value, males showed the increase from 109.88cm to 1I7.89cm and females from 109.27cm to 1I5.64cm respectively. There was the same inclination toward all ages. 2. Comparision to Measurement Value and Prediction Value of Body Height and Body Weight in 1994 As shown in the 〈Table 21〉, in case of body height, measurement value and prediction value of body height and body weight by ages and sexes almost showed the similiar inclination and poor grade, in case of body weight, prediction value in males had a bit low value by all ages, and prediction value in females had a high value in adolescence, to the contrary, a low value in adult. 3. Prediction Value of Body Height and Body Weight from 1995 to 2000 This research showed that body height and body weight remarkably increased in adolescence but slowly in adult. This study represented that Korean physique was on the increase and must be measured continually hereafter.

임분형수표조제(林分形數表調製)에 관(關)한 연구(研究) (A Study on the Preparation of Stand Form Factor Table)

  • Plotless sompling방법(方法)중 STRAND법(法)으로 임분재적(林分材積)을 추정(推定)하는데 필요(必要)한 임분형수(林分形數)를 산정(算定)할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 경기(京畿), 강원(江原), 충남북(忠南北), 전북(全北), 경북지역(慶北地域)에서 낙엽송표준지(標準地) 380개소(個所), 잣나무 358개소(個所)에서 임분구성인자(林分構成因子)를 측정(測定)한 자료(資料)를 가지고 임분형수표조제법(林分形數表調製法)을 연구(研究)하였다. 1. 임분형수(林分形數)에 관련성(關聯性)을 구명(究明)키 위하여 편상관계수(偏相關係數)를 구한 결과 임분평균수고(林分平均樹高)와 임분형상고(林分形狀高), 임분평균직경(林分平均直徑), 임령(林令), 수간거리(樹幹距離), 단면적수고(斷面積樹高)의 순(順)으로 높게 나타났다. 2. 임분형수(林分形數)을 구할 수 있는 적합(適合)한 추정식(推定式)을 낙엽송, 잣나무에 대하여 산출(算出)한 결과(結果) Table 3과 같다. 3. 최적추정식(最適推定式)에 의하여 임분형수표(林分形數表)를 조제(調製)한 결과(結果), 낙엽송은 Table 4, 5 잣나무는 Table 6, 7과 같으며 표(表)의 값과 실측치간(實測値間)에는 회귀계수(回歸係數)가 거의 1인 Y=bx의 회귀관계(回歸關係)가 성립(成立)하였으며 유의성(有意成) 검정결과(檢定結果) 유의성(有意性)이 없어 적합(適合)함을 알 수 있다. 4. 임분형수표(林分形數表)를 실제(實際)로 사용(使用)할 경우 표(表)값의 추정오차율(推定誤差率)은 낙엽송 임분형수표(林分形數表)는 2.39~4.15%, 잣나무는 1.73% ~2.50%로 아주 작게 나타나 정확(正確)하게 임분형수(林分形數) 산출(算出)에 사용(使用)할 수 있다.

Local Similarity based Document Layout Analysis using Improved ARLSA

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient document layout analysis algorithm that includes table detection. Typical methods of document layout analysis use the height and gap between words or columns. To correspond to the various styles and sizes of documents, we propose an algorithm that uses the mean value of the distance transform representing thickness and compare with components in the local area. With this algorithm, we combine a table detection algorithm using the same feature as that of the text classifier. Table candidates, separators, and big components are isolated from the image using Connected Component Analysis (CCA) and distance transform. The key idea of text classification is that the characteristics of the text parallel components that have a similar thickness and height. In order to estimate local similarity, we detect a text region using an adaptive searching window size. An improved adaptive run-length smoothing algorithm (ARLSA) was proposed to create the proper boundary of a text zone and non-text zone. Results from experiments on the ICDAR2009 page segmentation competition test set and our dataset demonstrate the superiority of our dataset through f-measure comparison with other algorithms.

정반 평면도 평가를 위한 측정점의 합리적인 개수의 결정 (A Rational Quantity of Measurement for Finding Flatness of a Surface Table)

  • The flatness is the most important nature for the surface table. For finding such a flatness, the surface is surveyed along a number of straight lines parallel to the edges of table, which form a grid. Next, the variations in height of the grid points are measured relative to a datum point. If the number of such points is increased. It is not necessarily to use many grid points for finding the original flatness of a measured surface table. So, it is necessary to find the rational quantity of such grid points. It is found that about 220 points per $1m^2$ of surface table for measurement is the rational quantity with less than about 15% error of the original flatness.

  • For the efficient operation and maintenance( 0 & M), irrigation facilities were graded on the basis of their indices related to the 0 & M condition and the characteristics of reservoirs managed by Farmland Improvement Association(FIA) were examined. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. Characteristics of reservoirs include effective storage capacity, irrigation area, basin area, height and length of bank. Each characteristic is scored by the principle component analysis method. Variables which compose one index are categorized on the basis of their unit and each variable is scored so that the score of each unit sums to 100 for each index. 2. The Optimum MAnagement System of Irrigation Facilities(OMASIF) for Pyoungtaek area was developed by connecting general data of the irrigation facilities to image data. The database system is divided into three tables; LookUp Table, Facility Table, and Image Table. Image Table is again divided into five sub-tables, Image Table, Construction Cost Table, Acreage Table, 0 & M Cost Table, and Specification Table. 3. The evaluating criteria for the 0 & M of irrigation facilities can be established using the OMASIF. Irrigation facilities evaluated as poor state by the criteria should be repaired.

제주도 삼나무 수간재적표 개발을 위한 주요 수간곡선식 비교 (Evaluation of Major Taper Equation Models for Developing a Stem Volume Table of Cryptomeria japonica in Jeju Island)

  • This study was conducted to provide data and stem information to establish a local volume table of Cryptomeria japonica in Jeju Island. Stem analysis was performed on 26 trees by selecting two average trees from each site of the 13 plots of C. japonica stands in 2021 and 2022. During the analysis stage, one outlier tree was rejected, and a total of 260 observations of the specific stem height of 25 trees were used. Of the seven major taper equation models applied for parameter estimation and statistical verification, the Muhairwe 1999 model was found to be the best fit and selected as the optimal model. Stem shape-related estimates were acquired through the selected model, and sectional measurements according to the Smalian formula applied at an interval of 10 cm from the height of the stem were used to develop a volume table. A paired t-test comparison between the C. japonica volume obtained from the present study and those selected from the current yield table by NIFoS(2020), revealed significant differences (p<0.05), highlighting the necessity of a local volume table for C. japonica in Jeju Island.

  • In this study, 1-g shaking table tests on the model of CFR(Concrete-Face Rockfill) type "D" dam in operation and the model of virtual ECRD(Earth Core Rockfill Dam) of which static stability is about the same compared to the model of CFRD were carried out. The purpose of this study is to compare the seismic performance of CFRD and ECRD from the analysis of model test results. Displacement response behavior of the dam was examined through the measurement of vertical and horizontal displacement of model dam crest. Also, amplification characteristics of accelerometers installed with dam height were examined through the measurement of acceleration with dam height. Also, in the case of ECRD, patterns of excess pore pressure generation with dam height were examined. From the test results, it was found that accelerations of dam crest of CFRD and ECRD were amplified about 1.52 times and 2 times compared to the accelerations of dam bottom, respectively. amplification was outstanding at three quarters of dam height from the bottom of dam. This phenomenon was outstanding in case of ECRD. And it was estimated that vertical and horizontal displacement of prototype dam of CFRD were 6.8cm (0.1% of dam height) and 12.3cm (0.2% of dam height), respectively. Also, it was estimated that vertical and horizontal displacement of prototype dam of ECRD were 4.3cm (0.1% of dam height) and 5.5cm (0.11% of dam height), respectively.

  • 본시험(本試驗)은 죽간재적(竹稈材積)에 영향(影響)하는 형질(形質)을 정확(正確)하게 파악(把握)하기 위(爲)하여 계획(計劃)되었다. 그리고 왕대의 수개형질상호간(數個形質相互間)의 표현형상관(表現型相關), 유전상관(遺傳相關) 및 환경상관(環境相關)을 구명(究明)하고져 공분산분석(共分散分析) 되었으며 Dewey and Lu의 편회귀분석법(偏回歸分析法)으로 각형질(各形質)이 죽간재적(竹稈材積)에 미치는 효과(効果) 즉(即) 경로계수(經路係數)를 산출(算出)하였다. 조사형질(調査形質)은 흉고직경(胸高直徑), 죽간고(竹稈高), 지상고(枝上高), 지하경(地下莖), 절수(節數), 근원직경(根元直徑) 및 죽간재적(竹稈材積)이며 각(各) 형질(形質)의 평균치(平均値), 표준오차(標準誤差), 분산(分散) 및 표준편차(標準偏差)는 제(第)1표(表)와 같고 7개형간(個形間)의 표현형(表現型), 유전(遺傳) 및 환경상관(環境相關)을 분산분석(分散分析)한 결과(結果)는 제(第)2표(表)와 같이 계통간(系統間)에는 고도(高度)의 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되었으나 몇몇 반복간(反覆間)에는 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되지 않았다. 각(各) 형질(形質)의 유전력(遺傳力)을 추정(推定)한바 흉고직경(胸高直徑)과 근원직경(根元直徑)은 유전력(遺傳力)이 높고 기타형질(其他形質)의 유전력(遺傳力)은 제(第)4표(表)에서와 같이 보다 낮으며 환경상관(環境相關)은 표현형상관(表現型相關), 유전상관(遺傳相關)보다 전체적(全體的)으로 낮다. 그리고 죽간재적(竹稈材積)에 대(對)하여 근원직경(根元直徑)과 흉고직경(胸高直徑)은 높은 상관관계(相關關係)를 나타내었다. 형질별(形質別) 상관관계(相關關係), 경로계수(經路係數) 및 죽간재적(竹稈材積)에 미치는 직접(直接), 간접효과(間接効果)는 도표(圖表) 1과 제(第)5표(表)에서 볼 수 있으며 결과적(結果的)으로 본시험(本試驗)에서는 죽간재적수량(竹稈材積收量)은 근원직경(根元直徑)과 흉고직경(胸高直徑)에 의(依)하여 좌우(左右)될 수 있다는 것을 알았다.

Design theory and method of LNG isolation

  • To provide a simplified method for the base isolation design of LNG tanks, such as $16{\times}104m^3$ LNG tanks, we conducted a derivation and calculation example analysis of the dynamic response of the base isolation of LNG storage tanks, using dynamic response analysis theory with consideration of pile-soil interaction. The ADINA finite element software package was used to conduct the numerical simulation analysis, and compare it with the theoretical solution. The ground-shaking table experiment of LNG tank base isolation was carried out simultaneously. The results show that the pile-soil interaction is not obvious under the condition of base isolation. Comparing base isolation to no isolation, the seismic response clearly decreases, but there is less of an effect on the shaking wave height after adopting pile top isolation support. This indicates that the basic isolation measures cannot control the wave height. A comparison of the shaking table experiment with the finite element solution and the theoretical solution shows that the finite element solution and theoretical solution are feasible. The three experiments are mutually verified.

The Vibration Performance Experiment of Tuned Liquid Damper and Tuned Liquid Column Damper

  • Tuned Liquid damper and Tuned Liquid Column are kind of passive mechanical damper which relies on the sloshing of liquid in a rigid tank for suppressing structural vibrations. TLD and TLCD are attributable to several potential advantages - low costs ; easy to install in existing structures : effective even for small-amplitude vibrations. In this paper, the shaking table experiments were conducted to investigate the characteristics of water sloshing motion in TLD (rectangular, circular) and TLCD. The parameter obtained from the experiments were wave height, base shear force and energy dissipation. The shaking table experiments show that the liquid sloshing relies on amplitude of shaking table and frequency of tank. The TLCD was more effective control vibration than TLD.
