Estimation of air pollutant emissions from heavy industry sector in North Korea (북한의 중공업 부문 대기오염물질 배출량 추정)

  • This study aims to estimate the amount of air pollutants emitted from heavy industry facilities in North Korea. To compare the emission in 2017 from the heavy industry sector in North Korea with South Korea, the heavy industry sector was classified with the South Korean classification (Matching Heavy Industry sector) and air pollutant emissions by Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea were estimated. The CO, NOx and SOx emissions of Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea are 22%, 73%, and 31% of the emission in South Korea, respectively. The air pollutant emissions in the Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea for CO, NOx and SOx were 0.6%, 124%, and 24% of the total air pollutant emission in North Korea estimated from EDGAR, respectively. As for the distribution of emissions by administrative district of the Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea, NOx was concentrated in the western part of North Korea, and CO and SOx emissions were concentrated in Hamgyong-bukto.

  • In recent years, as the industry has been highly developed and precised, its driving and control system have been changed, what is more, revolutionized. The requirements of these change are more accuracy, more high efficiency, more miniaturized size and more servo functions. Step motor has been adopted for driving servo systems, because of easier controllability, open-loop control, high position accuracy at low speed. In this paper, we deal with developing step motor system, and describe the procedure that contains design, analysis. testing characteristics.

  • In order to develop a noble Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS), we designed and manufactured the UPS using the PWM converter and the Resonant DC Link Inverter. This paper describes the power circuits, the key techniques, the control and monitoring unit of the developed UPS. Finally, using the UPS we verified the superiority through the type test.

  • This paper presents recent studies on the on-line insulation monitoring and diagnostic systems for transformers developed by HHI. Sufficiently high sensitivity and accuracy for practical use were achieved for the system, combined with communication networks to provide an on-line remote monitoring system. Several alarm criteria are formulated to enable a superimposed monitoring system to perform decisive action. The reasons for monitoring the condition and maintaining the health of electrical apparatus were discussed. The experience at the fields and the criteria for the judgment are also discussed in detail.

  • AVR은 동기발전기의 출력전압을 부하변동에 관계없이 일정하게 제어하며 발전기 및 시스템 보호를 위한 각 종 제어 알고리즘을 구비하고 있다. 종래의 아나로그타입 AVR은 제어설정이 불편하고 제어신뢰성이 떨어지기 때문에 점차 디지털 타입으로 교체되고 있다. 본 연구는 선박발전기에 적용하기 위한 디지털 AVR 개발에 관한 것이다. TI사의 TMS320LF2407 CPU를 사용하여 제어 H/W를 개발했으며, 과여자/저여자제어, Droop제어, 무부하/역률제어 등 다양한 제어기능을 S/W로 구비하여 부하에 따른 적용의 유연성을 높였다. 그리고 전력회로는 IGBT를 사용하여 고속 스위칭 제어함으로써 SCR 방식에 비해 제어 속응성을 개선하였다. 개발 된 제품은 AVR, 직류전원공급장치 및 부하나 계통의 사고시 보호를 위한 전류부스트(CBS)기능을 포함하고 있다.

  • This paper deals with the vector control that control of torque and speed of the induction motor using field-oriented control method. Rotor flux is estimated using the indirect sensing method based on the rotor circuit equation in the synchronously rotation reference frame, and slip angle and rotor position are caculated from rotor angular velocity and stator current. Through modeling and digital simulation with a voltage source inverter, it is shown that the proposed scheme gives good static and dynamic performance to the induction motor drive.

  • The objective of this paper is to find out a reasonable method for docking analysis of ships. The characteristics of reaction force distribution under docking condition are investigated by carrying out parametric study. To assess the allowable reaction force on keel block from structural strength point of view, two kinds of structural assessment methods are proposed in accordance with expected collapse pattern. In order to verify the proposed method, linear buckling and elasto-plastic large deflection analyses of typical double bottom structure are carried out and the results are compared.
