전형적인 진단용 초음파에 의해 초음파 조영제에서 방사하는 하모닉 성분의 크기 (Harmonic generation emitted from ultrasonic contrast agent in response to a typical diagnostic ultrasound)

  • 하모니 영상은 초음파의 비선형 전파 과정에서 발생된 하모닉 성분을 영상화 한다. 하모닉 영상은 초음파에 비선형적으로 반응하는 초음파 조영제를 사용하여 하모닉 성분의 발생을 최대화 하고 있다. 일반적으로 현재 임상적으로 사용되는 하모닉 영상은 2차 고주파 성분을 사용한 것을 의미한다. 2차 하모닉 영상은 주파수의 상승으로 공간 분해능이 향상된다. 초음파 조영제를 이용하는 경우 서브 하모닉, 울트라 하모닉의 발생도 유의할 것으로 기대되지만 이에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 서브 하모닉은 상대적으로 2차 하모닉보다 전파 과정에서 감쇠 효과가 작기 때문에 심부의 영상에 유리하다 서브 하모닉 및 울트라 하모닉 성분 검출은 초음파 변환기의 대역폭에 대한 제한을 2차 하모닉에 비해 상대적으로 덜 받는다. 본 연구에서는 진단용 초음파에 의해 초음파 조영제에서 방사하는 하모닉 성분의 크기를 시뮬레이션 하였다. 수치해석은 Gilmore Equation을 이용하였으며, 초음파 조영제의 탄성 효과는 무시하였다. 초음파 조영제의 크기와 초음파의 MI에 따라 하모닉 성분의 크기를 정량적으로 비교하고, 서브 및 울트라 하모닉 영상의 구현에 대해 토의하였다.

  • A new simple control method for active power filter, which can realize the complete compensation of harmonics is proposed. In the proposed scheme, a model-based digital current control strategy is presented. The proposed control system is designed and implemented in a form referred to as internal model control structure. This method provides a convenient way for parameterizing the controller in term of the nominal system model, including time-delays. As a result, the resulting controller parameters are directly set based on the power circuit parameters, which make tuning of the controllers straightforward task. In the proposed control algorithm, overshoots and oscillations due to the computation time delay is prevented by explicit incorporating of the delay in the controller transfer function. In addition, a new compensating current reference generator employing resonance model implemented by a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) is introduced. Resonance model has an infinite gain at resonant frequency, and it exhibits a band-pass filter. Consequently, the difference between the instantaneous load current and the output of this model is the current reference signal for the harmonic compensation.

  • Recently, the interest on power quality has been hot issue. The equipments cause voltage disturbance and has become more sensitive to the voltage disturbance. This paper deals with 5-Level H-Bridge Line-Inter active Dynamic Voltage Restorer(LIDVR) system. The LIDVR has following advantages in comparison with the DVR with series injection transformer It has the power factor near to unity under normal source voltage, can compensate the harmonic current of the load and the instant interruption, and has the fast response. First, the construction, the operation mode and algebraic modeling of LIDVR are reviewed. And then a voltage controller is proposed to get sinusoidal load voltage with constant amplitude. To find PWM method suitable for H-Bridge converter, two PWM methods are compared and analyzed. Finally, simulation results verify the proposed 5-level H-Bridge LIDVR system.

비정현 계통 전압하에서 단상 인버터의 PLL 성능 개선 방법 (A Method to Improve the Performance of Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) for a Single-Phase Inverter Under the Non-Sinusoidal Grid Voltage Conditions)

  • The phase-locked loop (PLL) is widely used in grid-tie inverter applications to achieve a synchronization between the inverter and the grid. However, its performance deteriorates when the grid voltage is not purely sinusoidal due to the harmonics and the frequency deviation. Therefore, a high-performance PLL must be designed for single-phase inverter applications to guarantee the quality of the inverter output. This paper proposes a simple method that can improve the performance of the PLL for the single-phase inverter under a non-sinusoidal grid voltage condition. The proposed PLL can accurately estimate the fundamental frequency and theta component of the grid voltage even in the presence of harmonic components. In addition, its transient response is fast enough to track a grid voltage within two cycles of the fundamental frequency. The effectiveness of the proposed PLL is confirmed through the PSIM simulation and experiments.

  • The Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) is widely used in grid-tie inverter applications to achieve the synchronization between the inverter and the grid. However, its performance is deteriorated when the grid voltage is not pure sinusoidal due to the harmonics and the frequency deviation. Therefore it is important to design a high performance phase-locked loop (PLL) for the single phase inverter applications to guarantee the quality of the inverter output. In this paper a simple method to improve the performance of the PLL for the single phase inverter is proposed.   • In this study, the dynamic characteristic of a contact wire and pantograph suppling electrical power to high-speed trains are investigated from an electrical response point of view. To analysis power line disturbance by induced contact loss phenomenon for high speed operation, a hardware Simulator which considered contact loss between contact wire and the pantograph as well as contact wire deviation is developed. It is confirmed that a contact wire and pantograph model are necessary for studying the dynamic behavior of the pantograph system. One of the most important needs accompanied by increasing the speed of high-speed train is reduced that an arc phenomenon by loss of contact brings out EMI. In case of a high-speed train using electrical power, as comparison with diesel rolling stock, PLD(Power Line Disturbance) such as harmonic, transient voltage and current, EMI, dummy signal injection etc usually occurs. Throughout experiment, it is verified that an arc phenomenon is brought out for simulator operation and consequently conducted noise is flowed in electric circuit by power line disturbance.

Filtered-x LMS 알고리즘을 이용한 유연한 외팔보의 능동진동제어 (Active vibration control of a flexible cantilever beam using Filtered-x LMS algorithm)

  • This paper presents the active control of a flexible cantilever beam vibration. The cantilever beam was excitied by a steady-state harmonic and white noise point force and the control was performed by one piezo ceramic actuator bonded to the surface of the beam. An adaptive controller based on filtered-x LMS algorithm was used and the controller was defined by minimizing the square of the response of error sensor. In the experiment, gap sensor was used as an error sensor while the sinusoidal or white noise was applied as a disturbance. In the case of sinusoidal input, more than 20 dB of vibration reduction was achieved over all range of the natural frequencies and it takes 5 seconds to control the vibration at first natural frequency and 1 second at other natural frequencies. In the case of white noise input, 7 dB of vibration reduction was achieved at the first natural frequency and good control performance was achieved in the considered whole frequency range. Results indicate that the vibration of a flexible cantilever beam could be controlled effectively when the piezo ceramic actuator was used with filtered-x LMS algorithm.

Additionally, the reseach on power electronic equipments applying to the high power has been increased. 마이크로컴퓨터를 이용(利用)한 엔진 성능시험(性能試験)의 자동화(自動化)에 관한 연구(硏究)(II) -모의(模擬) 부하시험(負荷試験) 시스템의 구성(構成) 및 평가(評價)- (A Microcomputer-Based Data Acquisition/Control System for Engine Performance Test(II) -Construction and Evaluation of a Load Simulation System-)

  • This study was carried out to develop a system and methodology to simulate the engine load variation occuring during agricultural field operations for a laboratory engine test. The system consisted of an electric dynamometer, an Apple II microcomputer, and a data acquisition and control system. Several pieces of instruments were utilized to measure various engine performance data. Both engine torque and engine speed were fully controlled by a computer program. The dynamic characteristics of the system were analyzed through a series of tests and the limitations on the load simulation test were presented. The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1. Engine speed and toque were controlled by a computer program. The use of a stepping motor and reduction gears enabled engine speed be controlled within 1 rpm. 2. The natural frequency of the dynamometer-engine system was found to be around 5 Hz, at which the load simulation would be impossible because of resonance. 3. For the harmonic inputs with the frequencies above the natural frequency, the signal attenuated too much and therefore the load simulation was impossible. 4. The step response of the system showed an overshoot of 24.5 percent and the settling time for 5 percent criterion was around 3 seconds. 5. When actual field test data are utilized for load simulation, a low-pass filter should be included to attenuate the frequency components around and above the natural frequency.
