The Psychometric Properties of Distance-Digital Subjective Happiness Scale

  • This study intended to test the structure of the latent factor of a subjective happiness scale and the stability of invariance across groups of students' classifications (gender and students' status). In the large, non-clinical sample (619), students completed the subjective happiness scale. The (CFA) confirmatory factor analysis was used to investigate the factor-structure of the measure, and multiple-group confirmatory factor analysis (MGCFA) model was used to test the stability of invariance across groups of students classifications. The findings of the CFA indicated support for the original one-factor model. Additional analyses of the MGCFA method support the measurement (configural, metric and strong) invariant and practical invariant components of this model. There was an invariant across gender. There was partially invariant across groups of students' statuses. The scale exists in both groups to assess the same concepts of (single and married), excluding Items 3 and 4. Given that this study is the first investigation for the structure of the subjective happiness scale.

Investigation and Analysis of the Employees Happiness in Small and Micro Enterprises under the New Normal in China

  • Purpose: As China's economic development enters new normal, employee happiness degree of small and micro enterprises will take on new features. The purpose of this paper is to discover the characteristics of changes in employee happiness, and provide reference and management suggestions. Research design, data and methodology: This paper determined the factors affecting employee happiness, established a measure model of happiness, measured and analyzed employee happiness by selecting more than 1,108 employees from 30 domestic small and micro enterprises. Results: First, the overall level of happiness in small and micro enterprises is relatively low. Second, there is no significant difference in happiness perception among employees in terms of the six factors. Third, the employees of small and micro enterprises have the highest happiness in three issues, including work distribution, internal interpersonal relationships, and less institutional constraints, the happiness on the two compensation benefits and a democratic management issue is the lowest. Fourth, gender factor has no significant effect on employee happiness, while age, working years, education, position, and the nature of employment have a significant impact on happiness. Conclusions: Employee happiness of small and micro enterprises will take on new features. Some human resource management suggestions are proposed from different perspectives based on the survey results.

아동의 성격유형 및 부모와의 의사소통 유형과 행복감과의 관계 (Relationships among Children's Happiness, Personality Types and Parents-Child Communication Patterns)

  • This study analyzed feelings of happiness in 550 5th grade children (273 males and 277 females) in elementary schools in Seoul and other regions. Measurement tools included personality (Eysenk, 1975), communication types (Barnes & Olsen, 1982), cognitive happiness (Waterman, 1993 and Ryff, 1989), affective happiness (Campbell et al. (1976), and eight open-ended questions about happiness developed by the author. Data analysis was by $X^2$, one-way ANOVA, stepwise regression analysis, and two-way ANOVA. Happiness of children was influenced by school grades, existence of supporters, economic level, number of siblings, and gender. Extroverted female children who had open communication with parents felt the highest degree of happiness.

Evaluate Students' Interaction and Happiness in Distance Learning Among Students with Learning-Difficulties During Covid-19 Pandemic

  • This study aimed at Evaluate Students' Interaction and Happiness in Distance Learning Among Students with Learning-Difficulties, by identifying the level of students' interaction in distance education and differences between them, as well as its impact on their happiness to learn. To achieve the aim of the study, two scales were designed for this purpose and were applied to a sample consisting of (310) individuals. The results showed that the level of students' interaction through the e-learning platform was at a high level. The results also showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of males and females in the scale of students' interaction through the e-learning platform. There was no statistically significant difference between them in their happiness for distance learning via the online platform. There were also no statistically significant differences related to the grade variable in the level of interaction through the electronic platform and in the happiness to learn, while there was a positive statistically significant effect of interaction through the electronic platform on students' happiness to learn.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 들어 다양한 학문 분야에서 분석되는 행복이라는 개념을 기존문헌 고찰을 통해 정리해 보았다. 행복이라는 일반적인 개념을 주관적 웰빙이라는 분석적 개념의 틀에서 정리하였고 이를 구성하는 세 가지 요인들, 즉 삶에 대한 평가와 감정 그리고 유데모니아의 개념을 상세히 정의하였다. 또한, 주관적 웰빙을 구체적으로 측정하는 여섯 가지 항목들과 이를 기초로 사용된 대표적인 설문문항들을 국문과 영문으로 요약 정리하였다. 이와 더불어 행복수준을 결정하는 경제적 요인 가운데 소득과 행복수준 그리고 실업과 행복수준에 대한 기존연구를 정리하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 행복에 대한 분석적 개념이 향후 경제학자가 행복 연구를 실증 분석하는 데 유용한 밑거름이 되었으면 한다.

대학생의 행복에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 구조분석 (Structural Analysis of Factors Influencing University Students' Happiness)

  • This study was conducted to investigate a correlation of factors that have an influence on the happiness of college students, and to investigate the effect of factors on happiness of college students by analyzing the structure of influencing factors of happiness. To this end, 430 freshmen in college were selected and tested on character, self-esteem, self-leadership, and happiness. The measurement tools used in this study were the 30 questions of Character Scale that Choi Min-Soo and Im Eun-Young(2013) developed and modified by Im Eun-Young(2015), a Self-Leadership Scale of Manz(1998) classified into behavioral strategy and cognitive strategy that Wang Ji-Seon(2011) translated and modified. a Self-Esteem Scale(SES) of Rosenberg(1986) that the researcher modified and used, and The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire of Hills and Argyle(2002) that Choi Yo-Won(2002) translated and the researcher modified. According to the research result, for correlation with happiness, self-esteem was .86, self-leadership was .74, and character was .66, and for correlation with self-leadership, character was .70, self-esteem was .66, and correlation between character and self-esteem was .57. Secondly, for direct effect on happiness, self-esteem was .62, character as .20, self-leadership was .19, and for direct effect on self-leadership, character was .49 and self-esteem was .38. Thirdly, indirect effect of character on happiness through self-leadership was .94 and indirect effect of self-esteem on happiness through self-leadership was .73. Through these research results, it was identified that character, self-esteem, and self-leadership of college students are the influencing factors on happiness, and that self-esteem is the biggest influencing factor on happiness of college students among the three variables. The results of this study suggested that university students' personality had a positive relationship with self-esteem and that university students' personality, self-esteem, and self-leadership altogether had a direct influence on happiness. Moreover, both personality and self-esteem of university students had an indirect influence on happiness through their self-leadership.

교사용 25~36개월 영아 행복감 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 (Development and Validation of 25~36 Months Old Infant's Happiness Scale for Teachers)

  • 이 연구는 25~36개월 영아 행복감 구성요인을 확인하고 영아 행복감을 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌, 선행 측정도구 분석내용과 포커스그룹 인터뷰 내용을 통해 영아 행복감 구성요인과 문항을 선정하였다. 선정된 문항의 타당화를 위해 D지역 25~36개월 영아 250명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 확인적 요인분석, 구인타당도, 공인타당도, 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 그 결과는 첫째, 이 연구에서 개발된 영아 행복감 척도의 구성요인과 문항은 문제행동(4), 몰입을 통한 성취(4), 친구와의 관계(4), 교사와의 관계(4), 물리적 환경(3), 긍정정서(4), 부정정서(3), 건강(3)의 총 8개 구성요인과 29문항이다. 둘째, 영아 행복감 척도의 구인타당도는 문항 적합도 CFI=0.89, TLI=0.88, RMR=0.05로 적합하였으며, 집중타당도와 판별타당도를 확보하였다. 공인타당도는 기존에 개발된 측정도구의 구성요인들과 유의미한 관련성을 보였다. 마지막으로 신뢰도는 0.71-0.89로 나타나 이 연구에서 개발된 영아 행복감 척도는 영아의 행복감을 측정하기 위한 신뢰도와 타당도를 갖춘 척도라 할 수 있다. 그러므로 영아 행복감 척도는 영아 행복감 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 적용의 효과를 검증해주는 주요 검사도구로서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

간호사의 행복: 통합적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석 (Nurses' Happiness: Integrative Literature Review and Meta-analysis)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to explore research trends on hospital nurses' happiness. Methods: Studies published from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2020 were searched. At the first search, 1,898 articles were extracted from academic databases. Twenty-eight articles were used in the systematic review, and 20 included meta-analysis. Results: There were 38 variables explored in relation to nurses' happiness. The variables with the highest meta-analysis value were resilience, positive psychological capabilities, quality of nursing work life, and perceived stress on nursing performance measurement. Among the areas classified based on the nurses' happiness theoretical framework, personal factors (r=.60) and work environment factors (r=.51) showed high meta-correlation values. Conclusion: The relationship between the hospital nurses' happiness and work-related factor in various dimensions has been confirmed. Considering variables related to hospital nurses' happiness in the future, various programs at the individual level and organizational level should be developed.

한국의 행복지수 개발 (Development of Happiness Index of Korea)

  • 이 연구는 한국사회의 행복지수 개발과 관련된 기초연구이다. '행복'은 개인의 가치관, 개인적 목표의 성취라는 측면과 함께 사회발전을 통한 국민의 행복달성이라는 국가의 정책적 당면과제로서 의미를 동시에 갖는다. 이러한 맥락에서 한 사회 구성원의 전반적인 삶의 질이나 만족감을 객관화, 계량화할 필요성이 증대되고 있다. "행복지수"는 국가운영에 중요한 정책적 기초 자료나 정보가 될 수 있지만, 그 작성에 있어서는 적지 않은 현실적인 제약 및 한계가 존재한다. 이러한 맥락에서 이 연구는 행복의 개념 정의와 함께 해외의 '행복' 측정연구 사례와 이를 기반으로 '한국의 행복지수' 작성을 위한 방향성을 제시하기 위한 목적에서 수행되었다. 구체적으로 행복측정을 위한 지표구성 및 지수작성의 다양한 방법을 검토함과 함께 '행복지수'의 산출을 위한 가능성을 알아보았다.

유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 행복 유형 연구 (A study on happiness types of mothers with young children)

  • 본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니가 인식하는 행복의 유형별 특징을 제시함으로써 궁극적으로 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 행복감을 증진하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 대상은 D지역의 유치원에 자녀를 보내고 있는 어머니 32명을 임의 표집하였으며, 행복에 대한 인간의 주관성을 심층적으로 측정할 수 있는 Q-방법론을 적용하였다. 연구 결과 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 행복에 대한 구조적 유형은 가족중심의 가치관을 가지고 자녀를 비롯한 가족을 통해 행복을 느끼는 가족중심형, 종교에 의지하여 절대자의 사랑을 느끼며 자신에게 주어진 상황과 작은 일에도 감사를 느끼며 살아가는 감사추구형, 가족 및 자녀가 다니는 유치원, 좋은 사람들과의 관계에 중요한 행복의 가치를 두는 관계지향형, 가정의 화목이나 자녀교육을 통한 행복도 중요하지만 개인으로서의 삶과 즐거움을 강조하는 개인향유형의 4개 유형으로 분석되었다. 4가지 행복 유형 간 공통 견해를 분석한 결과 공통적으로 가족과 친밀한 사람과의 관계, 개인의 가치 관계가 두드러지게 강조됨을 알 수 있었다.
