ROBUST MIXED $H_2/H_{\infty}$ GUARANTEED COST CONTROL OF UNCERTAIN STOCHASTIC NEUTRAL SYSTEMS

  • In this paper, we deal with the robust mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ guaranteed-cost control problem involving uncertain neutral stochastic distributed delay systems. More precisely, the aim of this problem is to design a robust mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ guaranteed-cost controller such that the close-loop system is stochastic mean-square exponentially stable, and an $H_2$ performance measure upper bound is guaranteed, for a prescribed $H_{\infty}$ attenuation level ${\gamma}$. Therefore, the fast convergence can be fulfilled and the proposed controller is more appealing in engineering practice. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional theory, new delay-dependent sufficient criteria are proposed to guarantee the existence of a desired robust mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ guaranteed cost controller, which are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). Furthermore, the design problem of the optimal robust mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ guaranteed cost controller, which minimized an $H_2$ performance measure upper bound, is transformed into a convex optimization problem with LMIs constraints. Finally, two simulation examples illustrate the design procedure and verify the expected control performance.

측모에 대한 치과의사와 일반인의 인지도와 선호도에 관한 비교 연구 (Comparison study on peference and perception in changed profile between dentists and lay people)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the level of perception and preference between dentists and lay people to altered facial profile. The assessors consisted of 40 dentists and 54 lay people, the survey was performed using questionnaire asking the order of perception and preference. The profiles presented in the questionnaire were based on the profile of one man and one woman, each morphed according to anterior or posterior direction of maxilla and mandible. The results were as follows. 1. In antero-posterior change of man and woman s profile, both dentists and lay people were sensitive to relatively skeletal profile (convex profile) changes than skeletal profile (concave profile) changes. 2. At least dentists needed to be perceived a 2 mm change in convex profile and a 3 mm change in concave profile and lay people needed to be perceived a 2 mm change in convex profile and a 3 mm change in concave profile for profile view. 3. Dentists are more sensitive in perception of man s profile change than lay people, but there is no significant differences between dentists and lay people in sensitivity of detection for woman s profile changes . 4. It seems that there is a general concordance between dentists and lay people in there perception of man s and woman s facial profile. This information might be clinician in comprehensive perception and preference of dentists and lay people to altered facial profile.

  • 본 논문은 안정화 조절기와 추종 성능을 확보하기 위하여 폴리도프 모델를 갖는 도립진자 시스템의 다목적 $H_2/H_{\infty}$ 제어기를 설계를 나타낸다. 꼭지점 기법을 갖는 LMI 설계 기법에 의하여 폴리토프 모델에 대한 다목적 제어기를 설계한다. 각 폴리포프 모델에 대하여 설계된 제어기에 의해 제어된 도립진자를 경사각의 초기값에 대한 수직 각을 안정하게 연직 위치로 복원시키는 곳을 관찰한다.

한국 포항에서 채집된 나비고기과(Chaetodontidae) 어류 1 미기록종 Heniochus diphreutes의 최초 출현 (New Record of the Schooling Bannerfish Heniochus diphreutes (Perciformes: Chaetodontidae) from Pohang, Korea)

  • We collected a specimen of Heniochus diphreutes Jordan, 1903 belonging to the family Chaetodontidae on December 26, 2020 in Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, using the set net. Although, H. diphreutes is morphologically very similar to Heniochus acuminatus, it can be distinguished from the latter based on the number of dorsal fin spines, mostly 12 in H. diphreutes vs 11 in H. acuminatus, and the percentage of snout length in head length, which is less than 12% in H. diphreutes vs more than 13% in H. acuminatus. Compared to H. acuminatus, H. diphreutes has a shorter snout, two-three rows of teeth, convex ventral profile of the head, more angular anal fins, and a black pattern extending to the longest soft rays on the posterior part of the anal fin. Molecular analyses showed that our specimen perfectly matched H. diphreutes based on mtDNA COI sequences data. We propose a new Korean name for H. diphreutes, "Jjal-beun-ib-du-dong-ga-li-dom".

  • In this paper we consider the hp-version to solve non-constant coefficients elliptic equations on a bounded, convex polygonal domain ${\Omega}$ in $R^2$. A family $G_p=\{I_m\}$ of numerical quadrature rules satisfying certain properties can be used for calculating the integrals. When the numerical quadrature rules $I_m{\in}G_p$ are used for computing the integrals in the stiffness matrix of the variational form we will give its variational form and derive an error estimate of ${\parallel}u-{\widetilde{u}}^h_p{\parallel}_{1,{\Omega}$.

  • In this paper robust stability conditions are obtained for linear dynamical systems under structured nonlinear time-varying perturbations, using absolute stability theory and the concept of dissipative systems. The conditions are expressed in terms of solutions to linear matrix inequality(LMI). Based on this result, a synthesis methodology is developed for robust feedback controllers with worst-case H$_{2}$ perforrmance via convex optimization and LMI formulation.

  • In this paper, the problem of the stability analysis for a class of linear neutral systems with time-varying delay is investigated. Using the Lyapunov method, a delay-dependent sufficient condition for asymptotic stability of the systems in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is presented. The LMIs can be easily solved by various convex optimization algorithms.

  • In this paper, without assumption of monotonicity, we study the compactness and the connectedness of the weakly efficient solutions set to vector equilibrium problems by using scalarization method in locally convex spaces. Our results improve the corresponding results in [X. H. Gong, Connectedness of the solution sets and scalarization for vector equilibrium problems, J. Optim. Theory Appl. 133 (2007), 151-161].

  • In this paper, a dynamic output feedback controller design technique for robust decentralized stabilization of uncertain large-scale systems is presented. Based on the Lyapunov method, a sufficient condition for robust stability, is derived in terms of three linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). The solutions of the LMIs can be easily obtained using efficient convex optimization techniques.

  • In this paper, the problem of stability analysis for networked control systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties is investigated. By construction Lyapunov's functional, a new delay-dependent stability criterion for uncertain networked control system is established in terms of LMIs (linear matrix inequalities) which can be easily by various convex optimization algorithms. One numerical example is included to show the effectiveness of proposed criterion.
