Sport has no age limit and can be done anywhere and in any condition with minimal equipment. The existence of sports spaces in all parts of the world is considered a citizen's right. One of the activities carried out in this field is installing sports equipment and structures in parks and encouraging citizens to use this equipment for physical health with the least cost and facilities. Installing sports structures in open spaces such as parks is a practical step for developing citizens' sports. Although using devices in parks is acceptable, it is more critical to meet scientific and technical standards. The components of these structures must have high strength and endurance against changes in environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature difference, and corrosion. Among the various causes of material degradation, corrosion has always been one of several fundamental causes of metal equipment failure. Sports structures in open spaces are not safe from corrosion. Uniform corrosion is the most common type of corrosion. This corrosion usually occurs uniformly through a chemical or electrochemical reaction across the surface exposed to the corrosive environment. Rust and corrosion of outdoor sports structures are examples of this corrosion. For this reason, in this research, with the green synthesis of silica nanoparticles and its application in outdoor sports structures, the life span of these structures can be increased for the use of physical exercises as well as their quality.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation and the influence of the environmental education and the environmental awareness on environmental awareness behavior of consumer. the finding were as follows; The environmental awareness behavior of consumer had significant difference according to degree of education and house pattern but had no significant difference according to state of job. The environmental education had significant difference all type in environmental awareness behavior of consumer but the environmental awareness had significant difference except II(behavior of purchase in green product), The correlation among the environmental education the environmental awareness and the environmental awareness behavior of consumer was very high but the environmental education and type II in the environmental awareness behavior of consumer was very. low The environmental education and the environmental awareness had direct and indirect influence on the envir nmental awareness behavior of consumer expect type II.

The purpose of this study was to provide practical data for proposing the housing environment support policy, fit for returners-to-village. For the purpose, this study focused the patterns of returners-to-village according to their experience of rural life, and their ways of settlement like planning and getting land and house. The questionnaires were answered by 91 persons who were living in Chungbuk area, and were analyzed chi-analysis on their socio-demographic characteristics according to experience of rural life, preparation of settlement and construction. The ANOVA were used to analyze their pattern of return according to experience, the period for getting house, and their satisfaction level of house size. The results were as follows. First, the returners showed differentiated tendency according to their experience of rural life, in their age, family life cycle, education level and income source after return. The experience of rural life explained the purpose of return and the living pattern after return. Direct experience group was mostly occupational farmer; indirect experience group mostly pursued good health & green life; non experience group mostly pursued green life. Second, the experience of rural life also explained differentiated tendency of returning preparation. In raising money, direct experience group mostly raised it privately but indirect or non experience group mostly used bank loan. Third, the returners mostly constructed new houses; non experience group almost constructed newly, but there were cases to utilize existing or vacant house in direct experience group, and indirect experience group favored existing house or remodeling of vacant house.

NOG1 is a nucleolar GTPase that is critical for 60S ribosome biogenesis. Recently, NOG1 was identified as one of the downstream regulators of target of rapamycin (TOR) in yeast. It is reported that TOR is involved in regulating lifespan and fat storage in Caenorhabditis elegans. Here, we show that the nog1 ortholog (T07A9.9: nog-1) in C. elegans regulates growth, development, lifespan, and fat metabolism. A green fluorescence protein (GFP) promoter assay revealed ubiquitous expression of C. elegans nog-1 from the early embryonic to the adult stage. Furthermore, the GFP-tagged NOG-1 protein is localized to the nucleus, whereas the aberrant NOG-1 protein is concentrated in the nucleolus. Functional studies of NOG-1 in C. elegans further revealed that nog-1 knockdown resulted in smaller broodsize, slower growth, increased life span, and more fat storage. Moreover, nog-1 over-expression resulted in decreased life span. Taken together, our data suggest that nog-1 in C. elegans may be an important player in regulating life span and fat storage via the insulin/IGF pathway.
An educational application (App) called 'Children's Food Avatar' was developed in this study by using a food DB of nutrition and functionality from Rural Development Administration (RDA) as a smart-learning mobile device for elementary school students. This App was designed for the development of children's desirable dietary habits through an on-line activity of food choices for a meal from food DB of RDA provided as Green Water Mill guide. A customized avatar system was introduced as an element of fun and interactive animation for children which provides nutritional evaluation of selected foods by changing its appearance, facial look, and speech balloon, and consequently providing chances of correcting their food choices for balanced diet. In addition, nutrition information menu was included in the App to help children understand various nutrients, their function and healthy dietary life. When the App was applied to 54 elementary school students for a week in November, 2012, significant increases in the levels of knowledge, attitude and behavior in their diet were observed compared with those of the control group (p < 0.05, 0.01). Both elementary students and teachers showed high levels of satisfaction ranging from 4.30 to 4.89 for the App, therefore, it could be widely used for the dietary education for elementary school students as a smart-learning device.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of combined exercise and green tea intake on body weight and adiponectin in obese female high school students. The thirty six(36) subjects were U women's high school students in U city and they were classified into four groups; exercise group), green tea group, exercise & green tea group and control group. All the subjects being obese with more than $27\;kg/m^2$. The exercise program was conducted with combined exercise of walking and the use of dumbbells. While walking having a $55{\sim}75%$HRmax intensity and uging $1{\sim}2\;kg$ dumbbell for $60{\sim}70$ minutes four times a week during 12 weeks. Subjects had one stick (0.8g green tea powder) four times a day during 12 weeks. The conclusions of this study are as follows. 1) For the level of body weight, in comparison within each group, EG, GG and EGG significantly decreased in body weight and in the comparison between groups, EG and EGG significantly decreased more in body weight than GG and CG after 12 weeks intervention. 2) For the level of adiponectin, in the comparison within each group, EG, GG, EGG didn't show any difference in adiponectin after 12 weeks intervention. However, CG significantly decreased in adiponectin and in the comparison between groups, EG and EGG significantly increased in adiponectin than CG after 12 weeks intervention.
This study's aims at seeking ways to support educational activity in 'Green-Growth' for children, in order for children to practice green life from their infancy and studying effects of their educational activity in knowledge of environmental conservation and receptivity to the natural environment, attitudes in environment conservation. This study conducted a survey of fifty-four children of five years of age attending the kindergartens in the Metropolitan City of Incheon. Twenty-seven were classified in the experimental group and the remaining Twenty-seven were in the comparative group. For the statistical analysis of the data collected, the t-test and the analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) were conducted using the SPSS WIN 17.0 program. The findings of this research are as follows: the children of the experimental group who experienced educational activity in green growth, demonstrated higher score than those of the comparative group in knowledge of environmental conservation and receptivity to the natural environment, attitudes in environment conservation. The result of the research indicates that educational activity in green growth, for children, enhances their knowledge in environment conservation, the receptivity to natural environment and the positive changes of attitudes in environmental conservation. It is then advisable to integrate and apply educational activity in green growth to the curriculum of kindergartens from early childhood.
The world today has reached a certain level where it is impossible to get the quality education at the tertiary level without the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). ICT has made life better, communication easier and faster, teaching and learning more practical through computers and other technology based learning tools. However, despite these benefits ICT has equally contributed immensely to environmental problems. Therefore there is the need to use ICT resources efficiently in universities for environmental sustainability so as to save both the university environment and the world at large from the effects of global warming. This paper evaluates the carbon footprints from the use of ICT devices and comes up with a proposed green ICT framework to reduce the carbon footprints in universities. The framework contains techniques and approaches to achieve greenness in the data center, personal computers (PCs) and monitors, and printing in order to make ICT more environmentally friendly, cheaper, safer and ultimately more efficient. Concerned experts in their respective departments at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) Malaysia evaluated the proposed framework. It was found to be effective for achieving efficiency, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.
The purpose of this study was to learn the lifestyles of college students based on the green building certification system. The importance for environmentally friendly housing patterns will be changed and predicted to provide the basis for future residential development. The subjects of this research were 706 college students living in Jeonbuk province. The results of this research were as follows. College students' lifestyles were measured by self-confidence, family orientation, leisure orientation, economic orientation, and a digital directivity by factor analysis. In eco-friendly residential ratings, as the results of analysis according to the land use, the transportation, the energy resources, the environment load, the ecosystems, the interior environment, and the soundproofing of the interior environment came out to be higher than other factors. While coming out to be higher in the lower group in a digital directivity, the life style of the college students mostly came to be higher in the average of importance for environment-friendly housing. This result means that the college students want environment-friendly housing while attaching importance to the convenience of daily life, especially a digital directivity of housing. Thus, when we plan residences in the future, we will have to reflect the environment-friendly housing on the basis of the results of this research, and improve the environment which is contributing to help form college students' characters well.
The concern of green building has been increased with an environmental problem or a rising oil price by industrialization. Therefore offices, schools and some buildings are expected to acquire the green building certification increasingly, but the information such as a process of green building certification, the state of certificated buildings, a score as specific clauses on green building certification is to seek. For not only school facilities make an effect to an student's learning achievement, but is the place where adolescents in a period of growth almost spend their life, eco-friendly school facilities is absolutely required. For this reason, systematizing the information related with the green building certification is to be needed in school field as well Therefore the effort to systematize certification management of eco-friendly school and provide information of certificated building, certification application procedure and sources related with certification for convenience is needed. Also reference material to decrease an inefficient time and expenses and to systematize certification evaluation is be able to beneficial. On the study, for such as the purpose above-mentioned, as the appraisal standard with 12 selected schools randomly is arranged. Based on the assessed scores table, features or something in common as a cause of the score change between preliminary and main certification is to be classified and anaylized.
