Through examination of the physical characteristics of oks in many institutes and private collections, $\lceil$Daehakjanggudaejun(大學章句大全)$\rfloor$, was systematically explored, which was the most frequently Published Great Learn (大學) in Chosun Dynasty. The Hanmunbon Great Learn (大學) was published mainly in Central Publishing Office in Hansung Area and Kyungsang provinces, and in the period of 17C to 19C. There are two streams of $\lceil$Daehakjanggudaejun$\rfloor$. One is the reprinted edition of Myungbon(明本覆刻), originated from $\lceil$Saseookyungdaejun(四書五經大全)$\rfloor$, compiled by Hokwang(胡廣) and colleagues in Myung(明). The second is movable type books of Chosun(朝鮮活字本), the contents of which being the same as the other stream.

  • It is an honour to be speaking on phonetics at the invitation of the Phonetic Society of Korea. Through the Korean Hangout script, invented in the fifteenth century at the instigation of the great King Sejong, and the work Hunminjeongeum which describes it, this country has an important place in the world history of phonetics. Phonetics is the description and analysis of pronunciation. Spoken language can be investigated at three points: in the speaker (articulatory phonetics), in the hearer (auditory phonetics), and in the physical speech signal (acoustic phonetics)... Beginners in English who are Korean mother tongue have to learn to make the sound 'f' as in "coffee", which is a voiceless labio-dental fricative, lip on upper teeth. They also have to learn to make [\theta]sound in "think", a voiceless dental fricative.

  • Sourcing Simulator is specialized form of software capable of providing great insight into merchandising decision making. It is relatively easy to learn and operate by reading the help menus, experimenting with inputs, and critically analyzing outputs. 1 see that it has great potential in a training program for new merchandisers to help them absorb the complexity of the numbers they must effectively use. The Sourcing Simulator, Version 1 that accompanies my textbook, Merchandising: Theory Principles, and Practice, 2nd ed. is the least complex version available. Two versions are available from [TC]2 - Retail version and The Retail/ Manufacturing version. The Retail Version is very similar to the Version 1. The Retail/ Manufacturing Version includes analysis of processes and costs in the manufacturing process as well as the merchandise planning component that we have discussed here. Sourcing Simulator is developed at North Carolina State University by Dr. Russ King, and available from Textile Clothing Technology Corporation $[TC]^2$, Cary, North Carolina.

  • Contemporary University students are considered the Z generation who were born after 1995. They are more tech savvy than millennials. To target the generation, traditional class management platforms have evolved to smart LMS that is more customized and accessible for smart devices. Global level information search and collaboration can also be implemented using such smart LMS. However, switching from one LMS to another LMS requires great effort from teachers and support from staffs. This study measured the learners' perception of the system when they were exposed to a new smart-LMS. Blackboard Learn Ultra was used for 15 weeks and at the end of the semester, a questionnaire was administered to the students of these classes. Results indicated that experience with previous LMS discouraged students from adopting Blackboard Learn. Result of TAM modeling indicated that perceived usefulness, compared to perceived ease of use and attitude, was an effective aspect to bring positive acceptance of the system. A qualitative approach and network analysis were also conducted based on students' responses. Both positive and negative responses were detected. Inconvenience due to mechanical aspects was mentioned. Dissatisfaction compared to previous local LMS use was also mentioned. Mobile application and communication effectiveness were positive aspects. Revised course development and promoting how useful the system may help enhance the acceptance of the new system.

  • The mathematics education circles in Japan has a variety of subjects. I want to speak w generally are considered on those subjects. Some of these subjects are as follows: (1) The ratio of students who go on to high schools is about 95 percent, so that it is h to solve how to design the mathematics curriculum for the poor scholars. (2) Though the effects of instruction at the schools does not betray the nation's trust, JUKU increase in number. Thus all teachers in schools cannot but endeavor to fulfil the responsibility. (3) Some of the junior high school's teachers suffer from the misconducts and violences pupils. Thus researchers of mathematics education in such schools tend to stagnate. 4) The tudents and pupils get good results in the examinations of calculation, but in the examinations such as word problems that require their judgements not so. Etc. t is not easy to solve or cope with the these subjects. or the subjects as (3), all teachers concentrate their efforts on the activation of lessons the heightening the pupil's will to learn. or the subjects as (4), the idea of mathematical thinking has be advocated since about 1960, recently the 'problem solving' are proposed and are studying. Lastly the researchers in the university are theorizing their own works and digest and utilize arge foreign's literatures. Furthermore a great number of teachers make an effort to research their calssrooms. But a great part of the results of their researches are utilized only in country. I hope, hereafter, that the effects of researches in Japan become known and ized to the foreign countries.

  • This study considers the value of English-language films as material for learning a foreign tongue using posh discourse. In daily life, when we decline an invitation or convey unpleasant information to a listener, we use polite expressions; we are careful with our words. English language learners need to learn polite expressions in order to interact peacefully with others; doing so can minimize conflict, which is inherent in social relationships. This study uses the British drama Downton Abbey, which is about aristocracy. This study analyzes the posh discourse used in Downton Abbey and insists that students need to learn it explicitly. It is important to learn the polite expressions of this authentic drama in a real classroom. This study suggests that students work in groups to create a short video, and to try to understand the characters' personalities. Movies, TV dramas, and sitcoms provide great content that shows the various functions of the language that students want to learn. As a source of learning material, film can help improve students' motivation and interest in learning a foreign language.

  • Although computer technology has a great potential for improving mathematics learning practice, it rarely used in mathematics classroom. The purpose of this study is to suggest the future direction for research in mathematics computer technology. First, there has to be a research on mathematics curriculum that take computer technology into account. Second, research on teaching sequence for certain content area is needed. Because computer technology would change the order of teaching sequence. Third, how students would learn with computer technology? how do they acquire knowledge and make sense of it? Fourth, how could we assess the learning with computer technology? Most of all, because teachers play a key role to succeed in educational reform, they have to be familiar with computer technology and software to introduce it into mathematics learning and to use it properly.

  • First, I'd like to express my great respect to the highly developed environment-friendly and organic agriculture in South Korea, especially in this region of Yangpyong. I've heard that rural farmers and city people cooperated together to develop the environment-friendly agriculture in Yangpyong. I believe Japanese farmers and people can learn a lot from the experience of your people. We'd like to exchange our knowledge and experience to develop environment-friendly and organic agriculture in both countries, for we share a lot in common. In this paper, I'd like to introduce how the Japanese have been developing organic and environment-friendly agriculture, and how we are working with the official organic standard and building the social structure to encourage the overall development of organic and environment-friendly agriculture.

  • Deep learning methods have been effectively used to provide great improvement in various research fields such as machine learning, image processing and computer vision. One of the most frequently used deep learning methods in image processing is the convolutional neural networks. Compared to the traditional artificial neural networks, convolutional neural networks do not use the predefined kernels, but instead they learn data specific kernels. This property makes them to be used as feature extractors as well. In this study, we compared the quality of CNN features for traditional texture feature extraction methods. Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the CNN features. Additionally, the recognition process and result of a pioneering CNN on MNIST database are presented.
