어머니-유아 의사소통과 유아의 자아개념과의 관계 (Relationship between Mother-Child Communication and the Self-Concept of Young Children)

  • This study analyzed the relationship between mother-child communication and the self-concept of young children. The subjects were 93 three-, four-, and five-year-old kindergarten children and their mothers in the city of Chunju. The self-concept test, mother-child communication inventory for children and the mother-child communication questionnaire for mothers were used. The data were analyzed by T-test, General Linear Models analysis, Duncan's Multiple Range test, Paired T-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The major findings were that (1) the children perceived mother-child communication more intensively than mothers, (2) the more positive communication the children perceived they had with their mothers, the higher their self-concept, (3) the self-concept of 5-year-olds was more highly correlated with perception about mother-child communication than the self-concept of the younger children, and (4) boys' self-concept was more highly correlated with perceived mother-child communication than girls'.

  • This paper presents neural observer that used to deadbeat load torque observer. Most practical systems are nonlinear, and it is general practice to use linear models to simplify their analysis and design. However, the locally linearized model is invalid for a large signal change. The neural observer is suggested to increase the performance of the load torque observer and main controller The output error and estimeted state is trianed by neural network of neural observer. As a result, the state estimation error is minimised and deadbeat load torque observer make use of corrected esimation state. To reduce of the noise effect of deadbeat load torque observer, the post-filter which is implemented by MA process, is adopted. As a result, the proposed control system becomes a robust and precise system against the load torque. A stability and usefulness, through the verified computer simulation, are shown in this paper.

Ultimate strength of stiffened panels subjected to non-uniform thrust

  • The current study is focused on the evaluation of the ultimate strength of stiffened panels found in ship hull structures that are subjected to combined uniaxial thrust, in-plane and out-of-plane bending moments. This loading condition, which is in general ignored when performing buckling checks, applies to representative control geometries (stiffener with attached plating) as a consequence of the linearly varying normal stresses along the ship's depth induced by the hull-girder vertical bending moment. The problem is generalized by introducing a non-uniform thrust described by a displacement ratio and rotation angle and by introducing the slenderness ratios, within the practical range of interest. The formed design space is explored through methods sourcing from Design of Experiments and by applying non-linear finite element procedures. Surrogate empirical models have been constructed through regression analysis and Response Surface Methods. An additional empirical model is provided to the literature for predicting the ultimate strength under uniaxial thrust. The numerical experimentation has shown that is a significant influence on the ultimate strength of stiffened panels as the thrust non-uniformity increases.

LFSM기한의 비선형 필터 모델의 특성 (A Characteristic of Nonlinear Filter Models based on LFSMs)

  • 본 논문에서는 잘 알려진 선형 대수 이론을 이용하여 LFSR을 활용한 LFSM의 구현 방법을 제시한다. 이를 사용하여 셀룰라 오토마타를 MFSR대신 사용하여 Anderson 정보누출과 같은 스트림 암호의 좋지 않은 성질을 제거하고자 하는 시도로는 안전성을 높일 수 없음을 보인다. 또한 LFSM에 기반한 비선형 필터 생성기가 Anderson 정보 누출의 위험성이 있는 형태로 변형 가능한지 확인하는 방법을 제시한다.

Analysis of elastic wave propagation in long beam using Fourier transformation

  • This paper presents a novel method for modeling elastic wave propagation in long beams. The proposed method derives a solution for the transient transverse displacement of the beam's neutral axis without assuming the separation of variables (SV). By mapping the governing equation from the space domain to the frequency domain using Fourier transformation (FT), the transverse displacement function is determined as a convolution integral of external loading functions and a combination of trigonometric and Fresnel functions. This method determines the beam's response to general loading conditions as a linear combination of the analytical response of a beam subjected to an abrupt localized loading. The proposed solution method is verified through finite element analysis (FEA) and wave propagation patterns are derived for tone burst loading with specific frequency contents. The results demonstrate that the proposed solution method accurately models wave dispersion, reduces computational cost, and yields accurate results even for high-frequency loading.

단계양수시험 해석시 우물상수 산정 방법이 우물효율에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Well Parameters Analysis Techniques on Evaluation of Well Efficiency in Step-Drawdown Test)

  • 다공질매질에 굴착된 2개의 관정과 단열암반층에 굴착된 2개의 관정으로 부터 단계양수시험이 실시되었다. Jacob(1947)이 제시한 P = 2.0 값은 단계양수시험의 수위강하를 해석하기 위하여 다공질매질과 단열암반층에 모두 적용되고 있다. 단계양수시험 해석에 대한 선형 모델(Jacob's graphic method)의 문제점들을 파악하기 위하여, 선형과 비선형 모델(Labadie and Helweg's least-sauares method)에서 산정된 우물상수(대수층손실상수(B), 우물손실상수(C) 및 우물손실지수(P))를 비교 분석하였다. 선형과 비선형 모델에서 산정된 C와 P값의 차이는 대수층의 투수성과 관정의 조건에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 즉, 다공질매질에서 비선형 모델로 산정된 C값은 선형 모델로 산정된 C값에 비해 약 $10^0{\sim}10^{-2}$, 단열암반층에서는 약 $10^{-3}{\sim}10^{-6}$배 낮게 나타났다. 비선형 모델을 통해 산정된 다공질매질의 P값은 $2.124{\sim}2.775$, 단열암반층은 $3.459{\sim}5.635$의 범위로 산정되었으며, 이때 비선형 모델에서 우물손실은 P값에 따라 크게 좌우되었다. 선형과 비선형 모델을 통해 산정된 우물효율성의 차이는 다공질매질에서 $1.56{\sim}14.89%$, 단열암반층에서 $8.73{\sim}24.71%$를 보여 모델의 선택에 따라 상당한 오차를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비선형의 최소제곱법을 적용한 회귀분석 방법이 모든 대수층의 단계양수시험 해석에 있어 매우 유용함을 확인하였다.

환자가 있는 농촌가족의 식행동과 건강행동 - 환자가 없는 농촌가족과 비교 - (The Patient Families' Diet and Health Behavior Living in Rural, Korea - Comparison of Non-Patient Families Living in Rural -)

  • Recent trends in agricultural globalization have brought on a crisis to our already impoverished Korean farmers. This study was proposed to assist in comparing the health and dietary characteristics of farmer families that have chronic disease patients to farmer families that do not have chronic disease patients. For the study, 1870 families were selected from 9 rural Korean provinces. Trained evaluators interviewed farmer housewives to collect demographic, health behavior, and dietary relative information about family members. Statistical analyses were performed using SAS (ver 8.2). Chi-square tests and General Linear Models were also used. In general, patient family members were older than non-patient family members. For patient families, the mean age was 70.4 for husbands and 64.3 for wives. For non-patient families, the mean age was 64.2 for husbands and 57.3 for wives. Therefore we analyzed the data after we stratified the subjects based on the wife's age of 65. Patient families snacked less and 'dined out' less than non-patient families. However, they consumed cookies more frequently, and milk and fruits less frequently, when compared to non-patient families. There were no significant differences in nutrient supplementation, and/or instant food intake frequencies between patient families and non-patient families. Sixty-two percent of patient family members complained about health problems such arthritis, lumbago, numbness, shoulder pain, dizziness, and others, whereas 52olo of non-patient family members complained about Farmers' syndrome. Husband cigarette smoking was not significantly different among groups. However, the smoking patterns of the wives was significantly higher in patient families. Alcohol consumption was also higher in patient families. In summary, it was determined that rural patient families had poorer dietary behavior and poorer health in general, when compared to non-patient families, and accordingly, diverse community-level health and nutritional support are suggested to solve the farmers' health problems and to improve their quality of life.

Allometric equation for estimating aboveground biomass of Acacia-Commiphora forest, southern Ethiopia

  • Background: Most of the biomass equations were developed using sample trees collected mainly from pan-tropical and tropical regions that may over- or underestimate biomass. Site-specific models would improve the accuracy of the biomass estimates and enhance the country's measurement, reporting, and verification activities. The aim of the study is to develop site-specific biomass estimation models and validate and evaluate the existing generic models developed for pan-tropical forest and newly developed allometric models. Total of 140 trees was harvested from each diameter class biomass model development. Data was analyzed using SAS procedures. All relevant statistical tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity) were performed. Data was transformed to logarithmic functions and multiple linear regression techniques were used to develop model to estimate aboveground biomass (AGB). The root mean square error (RMSE) was used for measuring model bias, precision, and accuracy. The coefficient of determination (R2 and adjusted [adj]-R2), the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and the Schwarz Bayesian information Criterion was employed to select most appropriate models. Results: For the general total AGB models, adj-R2 ranged from 0.71 to 0.85, and model 9 with diameter at stump height at 10 cm (DSH10), ρ and crown width (CW) as predictor variables, performed best according to RMSE and AIC. For the merchantable stem models, adj-R2 varied from 0.73 to 0.82, and model 8) with combination of ρ, diameter at breast height and height (H), CW and DSH10 as predictor variables, was best in terms of RMSE and AIC. The results showed that a best-fit model for above-ground biomass of tree components was developed. 다수어업의 갈치 자원평가 및 최적어획량 추정 (Estimation of the Optimal Harvest and Stock Assessment of Hairtail Caught by Multiple Fisheries)

  • This study aims to estimate optimal harvests, fishing efforts, and stock levels of hairtail harvested by the large pair bottom trawl, the large otter trawl, the large purse seine, the offshore long line, and the offshore angling fisheries by using the surplus production models and the current value Hamiltonian method. Processes of this study are as follows. First of all, this study estimates the standardized fishing efforts regarding the harvesting of the hairtail by the above five fishing gears based on the general linear model developed by Gavaris. Secondly, this study estimates environmental carrying capacity (k), intrinsic growth rate (r), and catchability coefficient (q) by applying the Clarke Yoshimoto Pooley (CY&P) model among various surplus production models. Thirdly, this study estimates the optimal harvests, fishing efforts, and stock levels regarding the hairtail by the current value Hamiltonian method, including the average landing price, the average unit cost, and the social discount rate. Finally, this study attempts a sensitivity analysis to figure out changes in optimal harvests, fishing efforts, and stock levels due to changes in the average landing price and the average unit cost. As results induced by the current value Hamiltonian method, the optimal harvests, fishing efforts, and stock levels regarding the hairtail caught by several fishing gears were estimated as 33,133 tons, 901,080 horse power, and 79,877 tons, respectively. In addition, from the results of the sensitivity analysis, first of all, if the average landing price of the hairtail constantly increases, the optimal harvests of it increase at a decreasing rate, and then harvests finally slightly decrease as a result of decreases in stock levels. Secondly, if the average unit cost of fishing efforts continuously increases, the optimal fishing efforts decreases, but optimal stock levels increase. Optimal harvests start climbing and then decrease continuously due to increases in the average unit cost. In summary, this study suggests that the optimal harvests (33,133 tons) were larger than actual harvests (25,133 tons), but the optimal fishing efforts (901,080 horse power) were much less than estimated standardized fishing efforts (1,277,284 horse power), corresponding to the average of the recent three years (2014-2016). This result implies that the hairtail has been inefficiently harvested and recently overfished due to excessive fishing efforts. Efficient management and conservation policies on stock levels need to be urgently implemented. Some appropriate strategies would be to include the hairtail in the Korean TAC species or to extend the closed fishing season for this species.

휴대용 근적외선 카메라로부터 얻어진 DI(Detection Index)를 이용한 소나무 재선충 피해목의 조기감별 (Early Detecting Damaged Trees by Pine Wilt Disease Using DI(Detection Index) from Portable Near Infrared Camera)

  • 본 연구에서는 지상형 원격탐사장비인 ADC(Agricultural Digital Camera)를 통해 획득한 영상으로부터 NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) 값을 산출하여 소나무 재선충병 감염목의 조기감별에 대한 가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 재선충에 감염된 임목의 잎은 시들음 현상을 보이게 되고, 이것은 NDVI의 감소를 유발하므로, 정상목과 감염목은 시기에 따라 NDVI 변화양상이 다르게 나타난다. 이러한 현상에 착안하여, 시기에 따라 임목의 NDVI 값의 변화량을 보여주는 DI(Detection Index)를 고안하여 감염목의 판별에 사용하였다. 2007년 5월부터 8월까지의 획득된 영상으로부터 감염목과 정상목의 DI 값을 산출한 후, GLM(General Linear Models)을 이용하여 분석한 결과 6~8월 DI 값이 가장 낮은 유의수준(0.0001)에서 두 집단 간에 차이를 보였다. 6~8월 DI 값으로 감염목과 정상목의 집단 간의 차이를 판별분석(Discriminant Analysis)한 결과, DI 값을 통한 감염목과 정상목의 분류정확도(Hit Ratio)는 71.9%였고, 잭나이프(Jack-knife) 추정방법을 사용했을 때는 73.5%의 정확도를 얻었다. 위의 결과를 통해 DI는 감염목과 정상목을 판별하는데 유용한 지수라고 판단되고, 재선충병에 의한 피해를 방지하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.
